I was skeptical when I bought a pair of these. My requirements were for a USB headset with microphone and I had intended on a wired one, but I didn't like the look of the wired ones and instead discovered the H600. A bit more than I wanted to spend, but I took the gamble. The headset is very compact and comes with a teeny-tiny transceiver, which I am scared of losing. However, this is where I discovered features that are not listed on the box - a small cut-out in the left ear-cup allows the transceiver to safely clip in when not in use. This is useful as I have a laptop with only two USB ports, so I cannot 'plug and forget' the receiver. Also not listed on the box is how the device folds.I was very pleased to find this out, and the device soon becomes very compact. It's lightweight and ideal to slip into a laptop bag for travelling. I took mine to America with me and didn't even notice it in the bag. It survived the trip unharmed and is quite well made.Sound quality is good, but not great. The proprietary wireless technology is perfectly fine for voice, but you'll notice a quality dropout when playing music. This is definitely a chatting headset, not a music or heavy gaming one. Treble and bass are both lacking, although it's fine for casual use. I haven't really tested out the noise-cancelling aspect of the microphone but suffice to say, the message gets across. The microphone is well designed and is nearly invisible when stowed. It's not a microphone you speak into or at, but one designed to catch natural speech. I use it mostly with Rosetta Stone and occasional Skype and it is certainly up to the task. What startled me most was the range. It's definitely as advertised from such a tiny transceiver! What's more, I've been able to walk away from my computer in a house with thick stone walls and still hear audio with no significant drop in quality, not to the same range as line-of-sight, but it's a very powerful signal for such a small setup. Battery life is also excellent; I reckon six hours of total wireless freedom is about right. It warns you in plenty of time to charge it, and does not lose quality until right before the battery dies. It charges from micro-USB, like a smartphone, so you only need one charger. It takes a few hours to charge from the mains. The ear-cups sit on your ears as opposed to over, which some people may not find comfortable, but I have used these for many hours without issue. They're not uncomfortable, but equally not as comfortable as over-ear designs. The controls are welcome, but basic. You get system volume up and down, microphone mute and power. I really wish there were proper media controls like play/pause and track skip, or quick system mute at a pinch, for when I'm listening to music while doing something away from the computer, but given that this headset is designed for speech, I guess I shouldn't complain.I have successfully used this headset on Windows 7, Ubuntu and Arch Linux and Mac OS 10.6. On all OSes, it works out of the box without drivers and the OS automatically switches to it as a USB Audio Device when plugged in. All features work flawlessly. There is a minor connection delay when the transceiver is plugged in and the headset is switched on. If the device loses connection due to range, it has to be nudged to reconnect, but this is a minor issue.Other possible downsides: it's very limited, as it only works with its supplied USB transceiver and not over Bluetooth or cable, although it can be used while charging. I do not believe I have a large head, but I have to use the headband near its maximum size for a comfortable fit. The battery does not appear to be user-replaceable, so even if it is possible, at the end of the battery lifespan you will probably have to void the warranty to replace it. The transceiver is very small and easy to lose; get in the habit of stowing it in the headset or leave it firmly connected to the computer. For the price, a travel case would be a nice addition, too.I can't give it five stars due to sound quality issues and lack of extra controls, but this really is a great value headset for chat and speech. It's a lot to write about a headset but I have been very impressed with it!

Before I purchased this headset, I had a history of having broken numerous headsets due to the cords ripping out or backing over the cords accidentally with my rolling desk chair. This would sometimes lead to the headset falling or being backed over by my chair. I wanted a headset that would just work, without having to worry about cords becoming entangled in my tiny office-- there was a very small area where my chair and the cords needed to share space.I had not realised how much of a lifestyle benefit this headset would provide. I can now talk on Skype, listen to a lecture, or enjoy dancing to my music, even when I have to get up to go to the kitchen or walk around the house. This makes phone calls from my Mac far more enjoyable and makes me feel less trapped when on a call. I can get water, make food, or even relocate to the sofa without ending or pausing a call.Pros:-Comfort: Although one reviewer did not find these comfortable, they are the most comfortable headset I have ever owned. I have previously experienced blunt force trauma to my head, so i am very sensitive about which headsets I can wear for more than a few minutes. The head and ears are nicely padded, and the headset sits snugly but not tightly on my head. Unlike my noise-cancelling headphones (not a headset), this headset does not hurt my head after an hour of use.-Portability: While packing for a recent trip, I discovered that this headset folds up neatly. It was very convenient to store it in my carry-on bag on a recent international flight.-Sound quality: The sound quality is excellent. I get the full-bodied sound without difficulty.-Bluetooth/wireless capability: The headset works wirelessly, which makes it much more convenient and more accident-proof than USB plug-in headsets. There is a wireless USB chip that can be installed, but the headset seems to work equally well without the chip on my Mac.-Convenient, on-ear controls: I love being able to adjust the volume, mute the call, fast forward/rewind, and switch between devices just by pressing the ear. (You cannot see the on-ear controls while wearing the headset, but I found it easy to remember the locations of the buttons.)-Mic: The mic appears sturdy and folds away neatly. Unlike many headset mice, this one is small and unobtrusive, with excellent sound quality.Cons:-No carrying case: It would have been helpful if this headset had come with a carrying case. For this price, I would have expected a basic accessory like that.-I cannot get this headset to work with my iPhone, which was one of the reasons I bought it. Perhaps I am just missing some technical detail.-Sometimes, the headset needs to be re-synched with my Mac, so the sound will be muted for one or two seconds after I press play on a new show. This problem seems to have diminished with frequency of use, so I'm not sure why it was happening or whether it will continue to be a problem.Overall, I recommend this headset. I have used it consistently for over a month. It seems sturdy and travels well.

I bought this Logitech cordless headset to replace my corded version from the same manufacturer. The corded version served me well for a number of years, but I got a little tired of being tethered to my PC (and of the cord tangling incessantly).I wanted to roam free whilst on those long, boring Skype calls; to be able to stand by my window and watch herds of Wildebeest sweeping majestically across the plain. And you know what, this headset was the answer – excepting the sweeping herds of Wildebeest, which are now far sparser in the West Midlands greater conurbation than they used to be. Over-hunted, probably.Anyway, you’re probably more interested in the boring technical stuff:Whilst I very much like the freedom that the Logitech headset gives me,I do find that even at the largest setting it feels a little tight on the ears at first. Bear in mind though that I do have quite a big head (my mother has never forgiven me), and that after a little while they do seem to have more give in them (I’ve not felt compelled to ask my mother about that, I should probably mention).Of course, being wireless, the headset has to power itself – so there’s a rechargeable battery built into the headphones. If I had a key piece of advice, it’s to remember to turn off the headset when you’re not using it, otherwise the battery can drain itself over the course of the working day leaving you embarrassed when there’s a crisis meeting in Basingstoke and you have to resort to shouting at your laptop microphone and covering your screen in spittle and crumbs.Generally though, it’s a good bit of kit this, and I’d recommend it for Skype warriors that don’t like to be stuck in their chair. The audio quality is good, probably not great for Drum n’ Bass (whatever that is), but certainly well up to spec for the spoken word. Similarly, I’m nice and clear down the microphone, or so I’m told – but it can’t do much about the midlands accent. Perhaps they can work an inline RP translator into the next version for when I’m Skyping the Queen.Exec Summary:Overall very good.Decent build quality.Bit tight on big ‘eads, at least at first.Watch the battery usage, turn it off when you’re not using it.

I have always used Logitech and again not disappointed at all, fantastic!Bought these to be available in addition to my wired logitech headset. These wireless h800 sound exactly the same, my voice sounds exactly the same and the comfort is every bit as good even for those very long 3+ hour calls .They fit really nicely and sit on your ears with a very comfortable and breathable sponge padding on both ears. The head band extends along way so even the biggest heads should find a nice fit. Top head band has probably the comfiest sponge padding to sit atop your head and you tube reviews suggest years and years of build quality from this particular section.Bonus is the ear piece and head band sponge padding can be bought separately if need be.Sound quality is superb, loud, clear, and with a reasonable level of bass to not sound tinny or echoey.Microphone and noise cancellation is also superb, testing listening to someone else speak into these even while typing was very impressive, the microphone does a great job in transmitting your voice clearly, whilst dulling down background noises and again giving the listener a voice that is bassy enough to prevent tinny echoey type voice coming across.Talk time very impressive, easily got 6 hours today and a few hours to recharge from zero to full via the supplied micro usb cable ( no charging brick supplied )The supplied WiFi wireless usb receiver can be hidden inside one of the earpieces, bonus. The WiFi wireless is flawless even on ground floor of high ceiling 3 story house. Bluetooth connection the same. Flawless. All in all worth every penny and light enough to not feel on your head, genuinely. If they’re within your budget and you’re after professional sounding headphones but which are wireless WiFi and wireless Bluetooth the. Look no further.

I bought this headset because I was fed up with the wires and limited range of my current set. They arrived in fast time and were easy to unpack, I immediately put the charger cable in place and began charging the headset before using them. When I first plugged the micro transceiver in place I was a bit disappointed because I could hear nothing. It takes a couple of seconds to connect to the pc and for the software to be installed but when I heard the initialisation beep I was in for a great surprise. The sound from the H600 is not Albert Hall Symphonic but it is perfect for the use that I purchased them. When used on Skype to contact my partner in the Philippines I have been amazed at the clear lifelike sound that I have enjoyed. There is an on-off switch on the right earphone together with a mute button and up and down volume control which has a pleasant beep when maximum volume has been achieved. The range is as specified and I have successfully sent and received sound from the bottom of our garden to the pc which is upstairs. The H600 also folds neatly like spectacles to provide a reasonable size to carry from place to place or pack into a overnight bag.In all they are just what I was looking for and I would recommend the H600 for general purpose use and also for older people with the beginning of hearing loss who get a sound which is crystal clear without too much bass.I have not been troubled with the headset battery discharging in mid-use and if such an event should occur then one can simply plug in the charger lead and continue using them until they are fully charged again.Well done Logitech a good product and at a reasonable price.Since I wrote this review I bought another set for my partner in the Philippines :-)

Extremely pleased with this purchase. I was originally pointed in their direction by the Nuance website which scored them top marks for accuracy with Dragon Naturally Speaking voice recognition software. They're quite right as this headset works extremely well and even better than the old, and also recommended, desktop microphone I was using previously. The accuracy is amazing. I also use the headset on and off throughout my working day with Lync. The ability to get up and walk around while speaking to colleagues on that is very pleasing and I have found that the range seems to be pretty much as stated i.e. about 30 feet. Again, excellent for talking on Skype at home leaving you free to wander around the house. They seem quite comfortable to wear. I do not wear them all my working day but probably use them for 3 or 4 hours per day with breaks in between and I find this perfectly comfortable. The battery gets me through a working day without any problem although I do make a habit of turning the headset off when I'm not using it to conserve the battery.I have had no problem connecting it to different PCs. Seems to work fine on Windows 7 and Windows 8 PCs and I've had no problems with the connection dropping out - it just seems to work 1st time, every time. I have even used it on the Microsoft Surface tablet which immediately recognises the wireless transmitter. There are okay for listening to music - of course, the quality cannot match that of very expensive headphones but it's still pretty good. So far, after about one week's use, I'm finding it difficult to fault and hence 5 stars.

A exceptional item. A wonderful affordable price with high quality attributes.Other wireless headsets (bluetooth or nano) seem to be bulky and very expensive. So this relatively small folding headset (with Microphone) is an ideal choice. The design is smart, if you travel with your headset there is a discrete slot for the USB nano plug and the folding aspect makes them a lot more manageable. They charge off a micro USB cable, so if like me you take a mains charge with micro USB end for your phone you can charge these from the same cable.Battery life is agreeable. Certainly not too short but users always want battery life a little longer.I manage to watch 2-3 films from one charge with the headset set to maximum volume and the output volume of my system reduced to my taste.Ear cushions aren't invasive, they cover most of your ear so little lost of sound but not so much that they block out everything around you. (I like this in case there is a knock at the door, my phone signals etc etc.)Support band is comfortable; does not get tangled in my hair. However the wire connecting left to right situated in a groove on the band sometimes slips out a few millimetres but not enough to cause problems in your hair and easily tucks back into place running your finger along it.If you wish to use this as just headphones and not a headset then the microphone stays in the upright position without falling and does not dig into your head.Very band length adjustable, a good 3-4 inches (8-10cm) with small intermediate locking clicks.Couldn't be happier, hope they never stop working.

I've had these for 3 years and they've worked perfectly throughout. Very convenient to toggle between wireless USB and Bluetooth, something which very few headsets seem to offer. They've been carried to work and back in a rucksack on a daily basis and have survived unscathed for all that time. I use them for hours-long work calls using wireless USB, phone calls over Bluetooth and listening to music/watching videos on my iPad - all work perfectly. They last for ages on a single charge and even if they did run out of charge you can plug them in and carry on using them (which isn't true of all headsets/headphones).Only 2 slight downsides I can think of. Firstly, they do get a little warm when I wear them for long periods, although this is a blessing walking to work on cold mornings and they're still more comfortable than my previous in-ear ones. Secondly, they sit very much on top of the ears so let a reasonable amount of exterior noise in and your audio leaks out. No problem at all in home and office environments, but in very noisy situations (e.g. on the tube) it can be a little hard to hear even when turned up to max. On the plus side, it allows you to hear the announcement that the Victoria line is suspended and you should just get off and walk.I didn't buy these for their hi-fidelity credentials and I am sure they would come up short if that's what you want. For work conference calls, phone chat and commuting entertainment all in one, though, I've found them ideal.

I got fed up of my wired headset and I really wanted something I could use on my computer or tablet. Bought this because of the dual connectivity - bluetooth and digital. The digital (with a usb adapter) works great on the computer, I'm a casual game player and music listener so I don't need the highest quality, still I was very happy with the sound quality. Also listen to music or watch video on my tablet/phone and this is done via bluetooth. I heard that you lose some quality over bluetooth, but to be honest I didnt notice much difference. Also skype from tablet worked very nicely.Connecting was a doddle, but did have to refer to the manual to pair a 2nd bluetooth device. Controls work well, though a couple of times I've caught the track fwd/back slider by accident. However I do think the build quality is average at best. It's handy that the headset folds up, but it just introduces a weak point in the headset. Not sure how much I'd trust this headset unprotected in a bag for example. Also the headset feels and sounds plasticy. Thankfully not enouth to make me regret the purchase, but enough to make me think twice about carrying this headset around with me unprotected. Also be aware that it doesnt really fold up that small. The earphones are big enough to cover the full ear.

So I was after a pair of headphones that, bizarrely, let me hear more from outside - I have been spooked a couple of times by being tapped on the shoulder because I didn't hear someone coming! I have a pair of G933 Artemis Spectrum headphones, and although they are great, they can get too hot and heavy so I wanted to try something lighter. I went for these after long deliberation/browsing and I am very pleased with them - they are very light, last for a full 6 hours and produce decent sound. I was worried going for foam padded headphones but the pads are very durable and easily replaced should I need to (lots if them available from a variety of places.) The microphone that flips up is very clear (according to my gaming friends!)and the volume control works nicely; albeit it feels a little flimsy but it's no biggie. The padded headband is very comfortable too. I paid ~£80 which I felt was a little steep but I trust Logitech products so got them anyway, I now see on Amazon they're ~£64 which is more of a bargain! The dongle it comes with is nice and small, and, plugs in and works straight out of the box. Being able to fold them up is an added extra should I need them on the move which I haven't needed to yet but it's a nice feature to have. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with these.

What's good? The audio quality is perfect for telephony, and perfectly adequate for casual music listening. The setup (Win 7x32 in my case) was... a non-effort. Just plug in the dongle, wait a minute (the first time around only), and you're good to go.Range is up to several meters easily - I didn't measure, but I'll happily wander into the garden for a smoke while on a conference call.Excellent portability, they fold into a tiny package. I love that the dongle can be stored plugged in to the headset. Not so good? The audio response is almost all mid-range with little punch to the bass and the high end tends to fall away quickly. Audiophiles would be better off with a high-quality wired, heavyweight set of dedicated cans.Overall I'm very happy, as I bought these for telephony. Sure, I listen to music on them too, but only because they're already connected.UPDATE: After three years of fairly heavy use, this is finally failing. The micro-USB charging connector has worn to the point where I can no longer charge the headset easily, and when I do manage to fiddle it just right and leave it overnight, I still only get a few minutes use out of it before getting a low battery warning. I can't really complain, I've had good use out of them for a long while.

I don't have 'Bluetooth' and purchased these headphones solely for use with my Laptop computer and they work nicely. The switch on the right ear side has two settings from the Off position to Bluetooth and the second or furthest for computer. A small USB stick that comes with the headphones needs to be plugged-in to the computer (I have a USB Spliitter, like an extension lead, with 4 slots and it works fine left in one of these). They took a few hours at least to charge fully via the USB cable provided, but now I use when watching a YouTube video or playing music without the lead (you can leave the lead in while listening if the charge is running low). All I have to remember is to switch them off when not using,as these are my first cordless headphones.I find them quite comfortable, but don't tend to use for more than one hour maximum.I have also tried the microphone recording myself using Audacity (a free program) and this worked fine and on playback I didn't hear any background computer noise so perhaps they do reduce this as I think mentioned in the product description. So, all in all, I'm very pleased with these, but will update this review if I find more to report as time goes on.

Great headset, Its so light I once walked out the house with it still on till I noticed a guy at the bus stop giving me a weird look and then noticed I could see the mic still... lolonly problem is its range is not that great, I got a usb extension cable for like £2 and have the little wireless plug thing cable tired to the top of my monitor. It makes awful noise to those on a call if your got out of a strong signal range though they only sound broken up to you.Despite a couple things that wont affect everyone I would say get this, its great.I use it for Skype and playing music while I am walking around the house. The walls in my house really kill off sounds the moment you pass through a door so this is great and your ears are not in a hot sweaty sealed fabric bowl breading some infectious bacterium just for your ears in time for bed.It was not normal for me to wear something that rested against my ears as I do have some sweaty disease cultivating headphones that sound amazing but cant keep them on for long but these I keep off the back of my ears and let them sit over the rest of them and as I said at the start of this review you will forget you have them on after a while.

Have had this headset for a while 2-3 yeares (hmm come to think of it - think I bought it in a local store, not through amazon - so just sharing my experience)Use it for business (ie calls on Skype/phone) and occasional gaming, agree with many of the more positive reviews. Sofar it's the best headset I've had for work purposes.Pros:> Nice/easy tactile control buttons (ie mute, sound up/down etc)> Foldability / portability (fit's nicely into a laptop bag)> The microphone is foldable too> 7-10 meters of distance from the laptop with the little USB receive (I find it shorter with the bluetooth)> Able to charge it whilst using it via micro-usb cable> Fair-to-good battery time (the battery, when using it a lot, will over time loose it's _umpf_ so one will need to replace it)> Good audio quality for work use ( audio / music exoerts likely won't be impressed).> Reasonable comfort of the earphones.Cons:> Slightly pricey> Although decent build quality, feel is a little "plastic", but that is more style thing and doesn't detract from everyday use.Wish:> Would be cool if logitech would build a headset like this with noisecancelling

It's a very good headset, comfortable and relatively good sound quality. It worked like a charm - plugged in the dongle, turned on the headset and it worked. With MAC and bluetooth is has some problems, but all headsets have. Maybe it's something related to OSX Lion, but when microphone is turned on, the sound quality gets terrible. It's the 3rd headset i buy to use with skype and none of them works with my MAC. All work with windows however, they also work with my phone, so problem is related to OSX Lion, but I didn't have time to check all possible options, nor any support (Logitech or Jabra) is aware of any solution to this problem. For it's size however i expected better sound.Jabra Halo2 is better and smaller. Also the reason i give it 4 not 5 stars is because the receiver is not compatible with any logitech mouse or keyboard. It looks similar but unfortunately they are not compatible.Again - if you want a wireless headset to use with skype and music and you don't want to deal with bluetooth settings - this headset is your best choice. Sound quality is not perfect, but it's good enough to listen to music and talk.
