I bought 2 and these are absolutely leak-proof. Fantastic! Today I brought a really brothy soup to work and the bowl tipped completely sideways in the plastic bag and not one drop leaked. But still, beware the lid! After maybe 15-20? uses, one of the "prongs" of the lid tore almost completely from the lid so I can only use it in my fridge now. I'd bought a couple of this same size Lock & Lock (different feel of the material--not as "soft" a plastic, black o-ring) maybe 10 years ago, and the "prongs" are still completely intact and leak-proof. I've used those containers many more times than these 2 newer material containers. I was really disappointed, at the cost of these,

We have had 8 of these for a couple of years and have just ordered 10 more so we can stock up the freezer with healthy, homemade soups for work over the winter. They are completely leakproof, freezable and microwaveable - just place the lid on unlocked and it no mess in the microwave and it can be clipped back on so that the smells are contained and hot soup is carried safely back to my desk. We have had cheaper versions but they don't last - these are also fine in the dishwasher. I agree that when not in use they take up a lot of room in the cupboard as they do not stack inside each other but for the freezer and for taking healthy lunches to work, they pay for themselves compared to buying soup.

I started using these in Dubai about 9 years ago. At that time I had never seen them in the US. The ones I bought so long ago are as good today as they were when they were brand new. The hinges latch onto a plastic piece and lock. They will not ever come open accidentally. They are so easy to close and open. You will not find a better product for food storage anywhere. The only thing is some of them have a white sticker on the bottom that was a little hard to get off. I bought from many sellers all from Amazon and only a few had these stickers. They are well worth the price!

Finally upgraded my tupperware stash with mostly lock & lock water tight food storage containers of various sizes. These items are the only containers I trust to not leak. I have owned a couple of these containers for at least 5 years and have never had an issue. I have placed my older ones in the dishwasher in the top rack and they do not melt or warp but I prefer to hand wash my plastics. These are pricy enough I don't want to risk them getting damaged.

I use the round 600ml containers for my lunch. They're the perfect size for one serving of almost anything. I don't pack them full either, so they would work well for someone with a bigger appetite than me too. Leftovers fit well in this size. A serving of soup fits in this size too. Got several for packing lunches for work. And it seals great so I don't have to worry if it tips in my bag on the way in. No mess! I love Lock and Locks.

I wanted to bring soup or curry to the office for lunch, so I was hoping to find a microwavable lock container that wasn't too big or too small. This is perfect! It also securely locks, which I love. I do keep it in a lunch bag because I'm nervous something else in my bag will unlock it, but not because I'm afraid the container will spill -- I just jostle around a lot with my backpack. I highly recommend!

An excellent product, they seal properly and are just the right size for freezing a portion of soup or stew. They are microwaveable too. One slight problem is that the contents leave a mark which is impossible to remove

I use this as a water bowl for my dogs when we go to training. It holds water without leaking—even when it tips over in the car. It works so well that I bought another one to take to shows. I highly recommend it.

Good Storage Container without any downsides. It never seems to leak, holds tight, keeps food fresh for use. I sometimes store little ones snacks in diaper bag ... Works well

The product functions as advertised. I use it to carry my lunch and put the container in my backpack. The food has never leaked out (liquid or semi-solid).

Perfect size for taking lunch to work - was worried it was too small but fill it to the top and its perfect and compact for carrying in a bag or rucksack.

Love lock & lock brand. They are super for storage and stay clean even with tomato products in them.Recommend. This is all I buy for storage.

Pricey, but having tried cheap copies over the years (the clips get slack and the lids no longer seal) I know these are worth the extra

Perfect size for one lunch, no discoloration and no leakage so far (after half a year of almost daily use). Definitely recommend.
