... of storage boxes before and they are very good. They are sturdy, the lid clips on firmly and are easy to close. There is a seal in the lid so they don't leak out liquids (or odours). They don't loose shape when dishwashed on a heavy soiled programme.Only I eat onions so one lasts several days. To keep a cut onion in the fridge makes everything else tainted with the smell, and in a plastic bag the cut surface dries out. This box cures both of these problems ... and it holds a big one. My photos show an unstarted one housed comfortably inside.Came quite quickly, well packed for transit and easy to open.

Its not rocket science but does the job it's intended for. As some have mentioned it is more than large enough fit a whole onion in but does take up less room than a square air tight container; also I have found it handy for not only keeping a whole onion that I intended to use later but also peeled garlic that are going in to the same meal that way when I have time peel those wiffy items and know that when I get in from work not only has the tedious job of peeling been done but my fridge isn't going to stink and any left onion or garlic can be popped back in to use the next day.

I absolutely love these.....they are air and smell tight?? I used to have a glass one...the top broke and I never hoped to find another again that would do the job. I purchased 1 of these lock-lock onion keepers to see if it would be okay.........wow...it passed with flying colours..no smell at all! So I purchased another 4....for storing cut tomato.....lemon......onion etc. I might mention that the 4 that I ordered were shipped from Estonia and like so many European vendors I found a sweet tucked into the package......lovely touch,?

Great pot and suitable for GIANT onions.I love that it stops the fridge smelling of onion, and stops that horrible surprise of the taste seeping into whatever was next to it.My standard onions from the supermarket look very small in it, but that's not a problem.You could however buy one of the similar sized pots without the globe top, which are cheaper, and still be able to fit half an onion in it.

Was excited to use this after trying to keep chopped up red onion in a tub and then in a bag as well and it still stinking the fridge out days later. I put the tub in the fridge and the next morning it stunk of onion and I was really disappointed, however the smell went away on its own the same day and there has been no smell since so I am a happy bunny.

Brilliant item. My husband is always leaving half chopped onions on a plate in the fridge, which not only smells horrible, it seems to go into the flavour of everything else in the fridge. He was actually really pleased with this. Its a really good size - you can get a whole onion in it easily, and it totally seals the smell inside.

Love this! I wanted a pot for my son to put his apple in for school snack time- wanted some protection against being dropped and avoid it picking up germs before being eaten. This is perfect! Easy for my 4 year old to open and close, suits the shape of a whole apple where our other pots didn’t. Great value too.

I love this product because it stores a HUGE onion, or a few halves of smaller onions and the lid still goes on. There is no onion smell coming from it so your fridge is protected from that and it's easy to store because the domed top fits neatly upside down into the base. I wish I had had it years ago.

Whoever thought up the idea of a container for onions, is a genius. Mind you, I've got a tomato in the second one I bought, and may buy a few more for lemons, limes, oranges and anything else I can find to put in them. The possibilities are endless. A great price for such a useful thing.

I love this little onion storage pot. You can put a hole onion in it as the top is rounded to accommodate it, or you can cut up one and store it easily. This pot saves my family using about six containers at home which then all smell of onion! Highly recommended and a great price too.

Not much to say other than it works perfectly. No more triple wrapping half an onion or fresh garlic etc and keeping fingers crossed it won't stink the fridge out because it still does. Once again Lock & Lock to the rescue. Completely airtight, no odour whatsoever! Job done!

Works extremely well! Keeps onion or half lemons/limes, apples, whatever fresh and useable without the associated smells lingering in the fridge. It's not too large so doesn't take up lots of fridge space but is large enough to accommodate the desired food stuff.

Love this idea and if it works will be great as you often don't use all of an Onion and wrap it up but it does not keep that well and makes everywhere in the fridge smell of Onion. Hopefully this will help - also useful for other items of fruit or veg

I brought this for my 10 year old daughter to take an apple in to school for her snack, works really well.She likes the clips as it’s easy for her to get the lid on and off.Good product at a good price.Would recommend for onions or apples.

No issue with the item other than it is much larger than I expected so takes up more space than I anticipated when in the fridge. Once cutting into an onion or lemon for instance, the amount of space needed is much smaller than the container.
