I have used lock and lock containers for a number of years and have found them to be reliable and robust, even when both base and lid are washed in the dishwasher. My containers will probably have each gone through the dishwasher more than 100 times without any detriment to their performance.I have this in both the rectangular and round version and they are in constant use for storage of dry goods. This size will hold all but a small amount from a large bag of flour (emptied out; the bagged flour will not fit in) or a large bag of sugar. It is widely known I am the world's biggest fan of lock and lock, they keep everything dead dry, thankfully as my kitchen is damp. I have all my things in these containers and I am going to get everyone by the time I finished. This one is for coffee beans, or that is my choice for now, could change to sugar except no one eats sugar here. Oh well, coffee then forever. DRY coffee.

I use this tub for my large round homemade shortbread biscuits, it keeps them nice and crisply fresh for a good couple of weeks. It's also a good size for storing rice cakes and the like in. Other brands may be cheaper but don't have the same quality that makes them last so long and not break after countless openings and closings of the seals.

I love the Lock & Lock containers, and have quite a few of them in various sizes. I bought this one to store flour. They wash really well in the dishwasher and don't leak if you store liquids in them Very highly recommended.

These are fabulous now ive tested them i will be buying more I also bought the spaghetti one to I put rice in the round one pasta in another one oxo cubes ect in one oatmeal porrage in one I will be buying more great buy

I have lots of different containers by this brand and they all come up to expectations. This size holds almost 1 kg of porage oats, the lid is easy to deal with even with stiff fingers. A very useful buy..

I’ve used these Lock & Lock containers for years, but these round ones are becoming difficult to find in high street shops so was pleased to get these at a good price. Ideal for freezing my home made soups

Bought this to store rice cakes, the whole pack fits in but you need to take about four out as it is slightly too short. the clips tend to break off after a couple of months so be gentle with those.

This is a well-made and very useful container. Perfect for storing soups in my fridge, and, even if I store it on its side, it doesn't leak. Glad I purchased this item.

Love the Lock & Lock products, long lasting, easy to clean and they come in a variety of different sizes, I use throughout the kitchen for storing food in.
