This is the best umbrella I have ever had, it is extremely sturdy and has the most ergonomic handle of all umbrellas I have ever seen. Unlike about any other compact umbrella its rubberized handle is designed for adult hands and one can easily and comfortably grip the umbrella with the full hand to brace against strong winds.It is extremely sturdy and windproof, and I have walked in gusts of over 80 km/h with this umbrella without it breaking. The only problem with such strong winds is that it has a tendency to flip in-side-out in such winds. The mechanics are not damaged when it does flip, and one can easily flip the umbrella back and it continues to work as if nothing has ever happened.

...but I'm really liking what I've see so far. I was surprised by the heft of the umbrella (some may not like that, but it strikes me as solid), and it was a bit larger folded up than I was expecting, although it still fit into the target pocket in my backpack. But I was very surprised at the canopy size when I opened it; it was much bigger than I was used to from folding umbrellas of roughly similar size. The mechanism works quite well too, both for opening and closing. I also really like the grip; it's nicely proportioned, rubbery so it remains grippy when wet, and has a nice texture. It's really a well thought out umbrella; nice enough that I just bought one for my son.

This umbrella has nice subtle design. Unlike many others in this category, it sports a stable, comfortable handle. I have used it for half a year, and it has served me extremely well.When I ordered it, the description implied that the umbrella was extra large. Actually, it is of standard size, measuring about 97 cm in diameter. So I was going to give only 4 stars for misleading description, but since then the description has been changed (it could be a bit more detailed though), so giving it all 5 stars.

This brolly was bought for my husband who loves this make. He previously had a green one and took it on picnics in the summer as a sun shade, as well as using it on rainy days too. He finds the size convenient and it is a robust umbrella. He finds it easy to use and had to have another when his previous one broke.

I absolutely love this umbrella. It's very wind resistant and has an automatic open/close button. The only downside is how heavy it is when you put it in your hand bag. I also bought the small size but it isn't as durable. I always recommend this and have had a few friends buy it as well

Product is well made and extremly compact.Initially I was worried about the robustness of the product do to the size but it has taken some punishment in windy weather. So good value for money, light and durable and I would recommend it.

Really good umbrella, does not invert in moderately strong wind. Only criticism is the Velcro type fastener which becomes useless after a few months of use; should replace with a press-stud / popper fastener

Very sturdy and very resistant. I've used this umbrella for about three years and only bought another because I lost mine on a boat trip.

Like many people, I have had umbrellas destroyed in strong winds. I like the Lifeventure umbrella because it is that extra bit stronger.

My second Trek umbrella, one for travel the other for home. Light, compact and wind resistant.
