It's great to be able to listen to my music /audio book whilst working without constantly getting caught up in the headphone wires! I love that I can leave my phone on my desk at home and still listen to my music whilst making a cuppa or my meals. The earbuds the themselves are very comfortable to wear and the clarity of the sound is fantastic. I like that I can pause my music/ audio just by touching either ear bud. They were very easy to connect to my phone and laptop, it took all of about 60 seconds to connect the ear buds to both devices. I also like the case/charging pod, it's a nice size, it's not too bulky.The earbuds came with spare rubber tips, which means if the ones currently on the ear buds are damaged I do not have to go out and buy them. They charge very quickly and last a good few hours before they need to be re-charged. All in all they are a good buy, they work well and are easy to use and set up. I'm looking forward to getting lots of use out of them ** Update** I have now had chance to test these earphones much more rigorously. They are great to use at work as the ambient sound feature means I can listen to music etc. and still hear what's going on around me. I have downloaded the app that goes with the earphones and have slowly gotten to grips with the touch features of the earphones, such as skipping tracks and adjusting the volume, although these do take some practice as they are very sensitive. The app has many great features which help with using the earphones, it even has a find my earphones option which you can use if you misplace one of your earphones. You can turn it on and your earphone will emit a beeping sound enabling you to find them.The earphones charge quickly and the charge lasts a for decent amount of time, this is the same for the case. I only have to re-charge my case once a week and I use my earphones for 3-4 hours a day. You can check the charge remaining on you earphone by opening the app, it will tell you the individual battery charge if each earphone. The case also has a UV light feature which helps kill bacteria on you earphones, which is great as it keeps the earphones more hygienic. The only issue I have with the earphones is that they can work loose quite easily and because the touch pads are really sensitive it's hard to adjust the fit of the earphone without turning off whatever you are listening too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are some great things about these earbuds, but there are also some things LG have missed. The good stuff - They're sleek, sexy and super easy to use! From the moment you get them out of the small round case, you can see you've got something nice. The gorgeous shiny black surface feels high quality, they dont feel plasticy or cheap at all. As soon as you open them they try to connect, which is great and there's even a link that takes you right to the simple to use app, where you can adjust the bass, tone, tempo and loads of other bits to get the perfect sound. The sound quality is really good, i've used these everyday for the last two weeks,listening to music, on calls and other audio as part of my job, and the sound quality has been great throughout, with a few hiccups i'll mention below.The touch controls on the side of the buds could use improving but once you get the hang of it it's easy to use. The battery life is great, i can sit with one in my ear all day before it needs charging and the case lasted a whole week before i had to plug it in. The case also allows for wireless charging which is great! I love the uv cleaning too, it's a great addition which means you feel confident wearing these, and the waterproofing works well it's a great and necessary addition.I love how small the case is, it fits really nicely into your pocket which means you can take them anywhere without feeling like you're carrying a whole audio suite!The bad stuffWhile connecting to a phone was super easy, connecting to a laptop was tough! I had to turn off all my other Bluetooth devices before it would work - this wasn't a great experience, but once it was all connected i could get audio from both phone and laptop.The fit of the buds hasn't been perfect, and while you get 3 different size ear bits even the smallest made my ear hurt after a while. The design just hasn't been ergonomic enough for my ears.While the sound quality was great, there were occasions when listening to audio through the laptop where there was a delay or little blips that just didnt exist. The touch controls weren't beast to master, and finding the right spot was sometimes tough especially when adjusting the volume.Overall i'd say these are a great set of earbuds, but there are some improvements to be made which would make them excellent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered these babies a month ago, I was very intrigued by the latest technologies that has been used in these earphones such as the UVnano charging case that kills 99% of the bacteria on the speaker and dual microphones for call clarity. When you read these features online you don’t really understand their true use until you try them. So I did and I’m here to review it all.I have tried few brands and their earphones in past four to five months to finally accepting these as my primary earphones. I also work night shifts on the weekends and completely depend on these for my entertainment and focus at work.I usually look for robust earphones that can work with me in harsh environments, I prefer dual microphones so I can use one at a time and save more battery life by switching to another as one dies and I due to current situation, also was in need for a hygienic product that can save me from cleaning my earphones every now and then. LG Tone free HBS-FN6 has been the most fittest earphones for all my needs! I just love all of its features and it’s convenience. Further more, the design is just gorgeous. Sleek, shiny and detailed oriented. Fits perfectly into any ear types and stays there comfortably no matter what activities you are involved into. Whether it’s work, travel or gym, I know these will be suitable for any and every where I go. I also loved the convenience of wireless charging because not only it’s stress free from carrying extra accessories with you but it lets you to charge even when you are tired and just want to lay in bed and sleep. I personally adore their voice quality, it’s crystal clear and just makes me feel so much closer to my loved ones when I speak to them. It’s hard times right now, friends and families are parted because of current situations and these earphones and their amazing quality keeps you connected as realistically as possible and I live for such techs. I would 100% recommend these to anyone and everyone! The price point wise too it’s very affordable compared to all the latest earphones in the market with close to similar features and quality. However, LG beats them in style with design, convenience and quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lg earbuds are my first truly wireless earbuds, and so far, I'm impressed. LG is a brand I've had limited experience with other than my last phone was an LG. I had a just out of warranty issue and when I enquired how much the repair would be, they just fixed it for nothing for me! I was very impressed with that level of customer care! So purchasing these, I have confidence I'll be looked after in the unlikely case of a problem. Anyway, the earbuds themselves sound great. I love the wireless charging case and the fact the buds themselves charge while in the case is fantastic. I've yet to reach the end of the 6-hour battery as every time I take them off,they go straight back into the case (and start charging). The ambient sound feature is something I look forward to testing once I'm back to work. We often get moaned at for having earphones in and I think the ambient sound feature will address this problem. certainly, around the house, it works great, the ability to hear your surroundings is really helpful. It's best to switch this feature off if you walk outside in the wind though! The UV light to clean the buds is a nice unique touch too but it's a shame it doesn't work while wirelessly charging.Call quality sounds acceptable to me considering the mic is on the side of your head and not in front of your mouth, I've had mixed reports as to the call quality on the recipient's phone but after having a word with LG phone support, I ran some recording tests and couldn't reproduce any problems. another issue I ran into was with google assistant compatibility. The LG website under specs > convenience says the earbuds support Voice command (Google assistant, Siri) but having spoken to LG support, they were a bit puzzled too about initiating the assistant. but 24 hours later, they called me back and said they'd been looking into my issue and voice recognition can be activated by changing the settings within the app. Now I can tap the right earbud 3 times and get the google assistant to listen to me. (this experience just reinforces my past excellent experience with LG support)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a frequent headphone and earbud user as I like to listen to music or radio when I run, cycle, or just go about my life!These earbuds gave an excellent first impression straight out of the packaging. The case is robust and big enough not to lose, yet small enough to be very portable. The feel, weight and look of the case and earbuds speaks of quality. I did not have to fiddle around with blue tooth settings at all, they instantly connected to my phone. I do like that it has it's own app so you can fiddle around with the sound settings.The first big test? Running of course! I've taken these fore a few runs now and they have not let me down at all.The sound quality is outstanding - crystal clear, and the option to instantly switch to ambient sound is very useful when nearing roads etc. Despite having "weird ear canals" (the audiologists words, not mine!) these have stayed in place comfortably and firmly. I have had them a few weeks now and have only just had to charge them again - I love that they can charge in the case without having to plug it in, so handy and makes them truly portable.I'm also impressed by the "nano cleaning" technology. A reassuring thing to have when you're sticking stuff in your lug holes regularly!Like other reviewers have mentioned, the price was initially a little hard to swallow. However, once I experienced the sound quality I absolutely understood why these cost more than other earbuds.I do have a couple of niggles with this. Putting them in seems to automatically switch my Spotify to shuffle mode, for some reason. Looking through the instructions, you're supposed to be able to tap the side twice to skip a song but I just cannot get this to work. Perhaps I am doing it wrong though. If I was being very picky I would say that initially it is hard to not intuitively touch the top of the earbud when moving it around to get it comfy - I have accidentally paused a song this way quite a few times, I guess it'll just take a bit of getting used to.Overall, I'm really happy to have these and show them off!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG Tone FN6 are the latest in an array of wireless earbuds I've purchased, in all manner of shapes, sizes and with every feature one could imagine. The FN6's pretty much balance everything you should look for in a wireless earbud and do it very well. The form factor sees a very light and small earbud which hardly protrudes at all - making them very discreet. They are so flush with the head you should be pretty comfortable popping them in and laying your head on a pillow. The earbuds easily connect to your phone / tablet via Bluetooth and can be controlled with the free LG Tone App. The app allows you to check battery life,fiddle with equaliser settings, pick which notifications you want to be played through the earbuds (SMS, MMS etc.) and even remap the on bud controls.The earbuds have very clear "Ambient Sound" settings - which enables you to actually hear your surroundings through the earbuds - super useful when out jogging etc, allowing you to hear traffic and what not. Battery life is great on the FN6's and they are very comfortable. Sound-wise everything is crystal clear and wonderfully balanced, but those of us who prefer something more earth shaking will need to do some tinkering in the app on the EQ settings. I'd have to drop a mark on a review due to the on-bud controls being too easy to accidentally trigger. A slight adjustment to the earbuds very easily can be an accidental prodding of the pause button for example. I've also had issues where two devices are registered to the buds and neither will connect, meaning the Bluetooth on one device needs turning off and the second device needs to re-pair the earbuds.I've not really noticed a benefit of the blue light cleaning feature of these buds, but I guess that's more in part due to a regimented ear cleaning routine?Over all a very good pair of buds which are a joy to use whilst out jogging, whilst at a desk working, or in bed listening to music.

So was really intrigued to see how earbuds would stack up the sound quality I am use to with LG.The box and packaging is perfect, protecting the product and all seems to be recyclable too. In the box has earbuds, case, charge cable, earbuds covers diiferent size replaceable rubbers for different size ears, and instructions /warranty paper cards.Open the lovely smooth case to see left and right earbuds fitting perfectly in the case. Already charged up and ready to go. I downloaded the LG Tone Free app to give me more functionality for sound levels and to update the firmware on them,on first connection.Pairing them via bluetooth couldn't be easier. I found the rubbers that were already on them fitted perfectly and felt secure, so I would feel confident on wearing these out of the house.After firmware update and looking over the app this gave me a better idea of how much tech is crammed in to such a small device. Being able to control the media answer phone calls with just a tap or two on the earbuds all of which can be configured and customized via the app.Sound quality is crisp and clear and I think as I prefer my audio to have a more base and deeper sounds this is where these fall short even after trying different audio settings and levels. But ignoring my taste I was very happy with the sound quality especially for how much these little things do and how long they last on the battery plus more charging capability from the case without it plugged in is well thought of. I would really recommend these if you are think of getting some wireless earbuds, oh forgot to mention really like the UV clean function too nice touch. Nice work LG, and the only reason I haven't given five stars is prefer a deeper base sound to my vairied music taste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was genuinely really excited to be invited to be part of this campaign as I had been wanting some new earbuds for sometime. My previous ones were on a wire and interfered with my activities when exercising and even walking with them in. The LG TONE FN6 Bluetooth wireless headphones are a revolution for me. They came nicely packaged in a smart box and when opening them the headphones were in a small black case which when you open glows blue inside, very stylish! There are 2 other fittings for your ear but I chose the ones that came as standard and they fit my ears a treat. The buds are very light and didn't feel like they would fall out and even when I exercised they stayed firmly in place.The earbuds were easy to connect to my iPhone however I was a little disappointed that it didn’t advise me in the package instructions or when connecting the earbuds for the first time an app is required to give you the best options with your earbuds. Once I had found out about the app I downloaded it and it shows you how charged each earbud is, you can change the sound effects and even find your lost earbuds with a chirping sound.The sound quality of the earbuds for me is great, I’m no expert in this area however I know a good sound when I hear it and these certainly have that. The buds are easy to control with gentle taps on either one to pause sound, fast forward a track and answer a call along with being able to let in ambient sound.Overall I am very impressed with these ear buds, they tick all the boxes for me, if I have any doubts about them it’s I’m not sure how effective the UV cleaning process is as I have no way of checking it and if you’re not sharing earbuds with anybody is it totally necessary? Other than that I have no qualms in recommending these to others, a great product, well made and perfect for my requirements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not sure what to expect from the LG TONE FN6 Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds. I am used to over-ear headphones, but these were a new experience for me and I was not disappointed! Audio quality is fantastic. Listening to the latest music download or old favourites from my digitally-copied vinyl collection is a pleasure, with clear, crisp audio and well-defined bass. The earbuds are light and comfortable and I frequently forget I am wearing them. They stay in place well, even when jogging or working out. I struggled a bit with getting used to the tap controls, forgetting how many taps were needed for each function,but it is gradually becoming more intuitive as time goes on. The earbuds are barely noticeable in the ear; I like the fact that they are black and understated when wearing them. Bluetooth connection was easy. A real benefit is that they can block out ambient noise and you can customise the sound via an app. The UVNano function is great for sharing with other people, though not many people would want to do this during the Coronavirus pandemic! Wireless Bluetooth phone calls are a doddle and call quality is exceptional - better than other earbuds I have tried. However, if there is a barrier between smartphone and earbuds, the audio quality sometimes drops dramatically which can be somewhat inconvenient or frustrating. Battery life is acceptable and the tiny carry case is a great size for throwing in your pocket and keeping the earbuds clean and hygienic. Charge time is very fast. A downside is that I often forget to charge the earbuds after use, so they are not always ready to use next time, but that is down to my own forgetfulness! If you are considering buying mid-range wireless earbuds I would encourage you to consider these as an option. They will not disappoint.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG TONE Free earbuds paired via bluetooth to my Android phone quickly and easily. They come pre-fitted with medium-sized silicone covers for comfort and hygiene, though I found my ears tolerated the smaller size cover better. The first thing to hit me was the incredible sound quality, with multiple EQ presets designed by Meridian. Music I have listened to on home speakers sounds so much richer when channelled directly into the ears. Music play time is good before power runs low and I can recharge the earbuds via USB connection.I love the fact that the case for the earbuds is tiny (will easily fit in your pocket or handbag, keeping them hygienic)and the UVnano setting kills 99.9% of bacteria, yet only takes 10 mins to do after wearing them. Talking on my mobile phone using the earbuds is a revelation. Usually my elderly mother would struggle with phone sound quality, but she has been able to hear me perfectly, and I am able to continue with my day whilst chatting to her. The LG TONE Free earbuds stay firmly in my ears, even whilst out running and exercising - they are lightweight and discreet. Lockdown has changed the way I work from home, now surrounded by my family, and I normally need to work in silence, which has not been practical in recent months. The earbuds have an ambient sound setting, to allow for safe listening whilst crossing roads, etc., but this function has been particularly useful for me to tune in/out background noise, depending on the task in hand. My only real quibble with the earbuds is the tap to increase/decrease volume setting - it responds better to firm taps, but doing this hurts my ears! Overall, I am delighted with my purchase.

I compared it with the Airpods Pro case, and it has a more premium finish and is more on the pocket friendly side in my opinion. It also have UV technology in the case to clean the buds which is just a bonus, with everyone being more hygiene conscious, these are perfect for the current situation we’re in!The earbuds themselves are really nice, I got them in the black option and find they look good and fit nicely within my ear canal.They come with different size gel tips, I tried the smaller ones but then went back to the ones that come installed as standard. In terms of sound quality, I am more than pleased with them. I installed the LG Tone app on my phone and love that you can adjust the sound settings which have been tuned by Meridian. I’ve heard Meridian sound in a Range Rover before so knew to expect clear and rich sound which is exactly what you get.The find my earbuds feature in the app is just genius, I like that the beep gradually gets louder which I assume is a safety feature in case it’s in your ear lol. It’s cool that LG thought of that.Overall, for the price range and when comparing with other buds in this price region, I think you get incredible value. I found the battery life to be ample and the case itself charges very fast with wire. I also tried with a wireless charging pad and no complains there. I 100% recommend these to anyone looking for a premium set of wireless earbuds!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG Headphone reviewThe first thing that impressed me with these LG earbuds was how easy they were to set up to your phone, they almost do it themselves. I would suggest downloading the app they recommend as this gives you more control as well as a few more useful features.The case that the earbuds live in are both stylish in design and very comfortable to use. When the case is plugged in to charge it also activates a UV LED which is supposed to sterilise the earbuds.The battery life is more than adequate and, with the ability for the case to charge your earbuds on the go, should be more than adequate for even the longest flights.The sound quality is very good with crystal clear sounds,however, the base is not as great as I would like. On saying that, I have yet to find a small ear phone with an excellent base so I wouldn’t hold it against them too much. Perhaps the technology is just not out there yet.The second thing that really impressed me, and I wasn’t expecting, was the ambient sound feature. This allows you to hear what is happening around you whilst still listening to music. Example of how good this was; whilst setting up the earbuds for the first time by my pond and listening to music I turned on the ambient sound feature. I was surprised to suddenly be able to hear the running water of my pond whilst still listening to my music! Very useful if you still want to know what’s happening around you whilst enjoying your tunes. This feature can be turned off easily as well if you want full emersion of your favourite tune.Overall I was very pleased with the earbuds and would recommend them.

My previous experience with headphones was a long time ago with large cans, then the dodgy clip on ones on an airplane so these were very new to me!I found them a very neat gadget in terms of size and they come in a tidy round case. This i think makes them extremely portable. A simple addition in a bag and theyd even fit in a pocket.The instructions were simple and clear. They dont come with a plug as such just the usb cable. Luckily my phone charger plug was the correct type so i used this. I was amazed at how quickly they got enough charge to be able to use.The next task was connecting them to laptop via bluetooth.Again this was clear in the instruction leaflet and simple enough to do. It was literally a one button press on the case / charger.The earbuds themselves are small. neat, quite comfortable to wear although i have little ear holes so they either were noticed more by myself after a while hurt a bit, or if I didn't wedge them in enough they popped out.I would be massively scared to loose one if i was using them on the move.The sound quality was fantastic which of course is the most important point I guess.I do think that they are very expensive for what they are and i hovered over only giving them a 4 star good score rather than 5 star excellent purely because of the high cost, but if you are used to paying this amount of money for such a gadget, then these definitely have the ease, simplicity and sound quality you may have been looking for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] #Why did I choose these - I wanted to try these as I already have a number of (cheap) wired headphones and also larger more bulky headsets that I use for work meetings etc. but I wanted a set of headphones for personal use, e.g. listening to music, audio books, etc. whilst out walking as well as at home.#Requirements - I wanted a product that I could use when listening to content on my phone, ipad, laptop that was wireless, and had a good sound. These earbuds fit the bill! They fit my ears well, I am not concerned that they are going to drop out. I really like the little box they come in, in which they can be stored and charged.#Storage and charging - The earbuds connect magnetically to the box, which ensures that they will not fall out or be lost easily. The light comes on in the box when you open them which looks good and if the light on the front is red then you know that they need charging. They seem to last a long time before needing a charge, so that is another plus.#Connection - The earbuds easily connect to devices with bluetooth, and connect automatically. The media (e.g. audio, video ) can be paused by gentle press on the earbud, which is really clever! An audio notification lets you know that they are connected which is reassuring. #Sound - The sound is very clear, and you can toggle between sound settings by touching the earbud for a second (longer press than is needed to pause the sound).All in all, I am impressed and I use them everyday, so a definate thumbs up from me.
