My first one broke after 16 months of careful use, but was replaced with a new one under the guarantee after I contacted the manufacturer by email. I like the design as it can fit in my bath, to dry towels/clothes during the winter. Nice and stable outside in the summer, the wind has not manged to blow it over so far. I recommend this item. I am about to purchase a second one.

I owned exactly the same rack bought in Holland at the time for 30 years, then some parts had broken, which I taped because I find this a very practical drying rack, which can be put everywhere, also in the bath, and has very flat storage when not in use.I was looking for a replacement after 30 years of use, and was delighted to finally finding my old Leifheit rack at Amazon.

This is the third time that I have purchased this style of drying rack, over a 28 year period, having bought the last one in 2011. They have travelled to many places with me and I truly believe that number 2 only fell apart due to my heavy handedness. It's perfect for my needs and I wouldn't have any other style.

This was just what I wanted. It replaced an almost identical airer I had had for thirty years which had finally collapsed. Sadly, the new one had been slightly bent by the tight adhesive tape round the wrapping - not the fault of the manufacturers. I wonder how long this one will last.

After six years of reliable use I discovered my Leifheit Classic 100 buckled in a sad heap. I had overloaded it with wet towels. But I'm buying another as I can't live without it and nothing quite compares! It has a huge capacity for the size and it folds away very neatly.

Fast delivery from abroad; easy to collapse; very stable because of leg construction; very light - but metal 'line' will not bend as constructed with a slight, hardly noticeable, twist.

This is the second one of these airers I have had, they are easy to put up and down and holds about two wash loads. A little pricey since the last time I bought one.

My second purchase of same drying rack. Cleanlined, lightweight, easy distribution of clothes and space saving storage. Btw, the last one lasted over 7 years.

Bought to replace a similar dryer, bought in Germany 30 years. If this one lasts as long I will be leaving it to my children. Solid and dependable.

Very high quality sturdy product. Worth the extra money spent for it over a cheap IKEA/no name brand thing. :)

I use these as very lightweight worksurfaces, with temporary newspaper/card or plastic covers. Ideal.
