This is a very nice box. It is unpainted and unvarnished. It seems quite well made. The box is a good size and will take A4 size stuff easily.I intend to first prime the wood exterior and then paint / decorate it with acrylic paint and then finish with a clear varnish. If you (or your children) are into crafts this box will make a lovely project to decorate. A personalised box as a gift is a lovely idea - arty but also practical. Would highly recommend.

The box was beautifullyl made with dovetail joints and perfect for decorating yourself which I have had done, ready to be clear varnished. Perfect for keeping craft equipment or momentos. It's very good value for the price. It arrived a day earlier than anticipated and is good value for the price. I was very impressed with the service and after care that I received from the supplier.

I wanted it to decorate as a memory box for my newest grandchild. It wasn’t as big as I thought but it was the size stated so my mistake. However it’s turned out lovely, I painted the name on it and date on the front. I varnished it too rubbing down in between coats. I’m delighted with the finished product and may even get bigger ones to do Christmas Eve boxes for all 3 girls .

The box I ordered arrived and I was pleased with its appearance. It was well constructed out of good quality wood, really excellent value for the money. It was just too good for the purpose that it was intended for. It is now fulfilling a very useful and colourful container in a friends flat, rather than being the burial vessel for her pet cat.

I needed a couple of boxes to replace my old plastic box storing shoe polishes and brushes.I liked the idea of timber rather than plastic and the price was appealing. When they first arrived I thought the unfinished box wood looked a bit flimsy, however having sealed them with woodstain they look smart and are sturdy enough for my purposes.

Our daughter in law decorated this box for us with her pyrography pen, creating Winnie the Pooh scenes and lovely little sayings. The box was then used as the 'wrapper' for our grandsons clothes presents. He loved it and the box will always be there as another gift so he can store all his special little things. A double gift.

This is a quite delightful box which can be decorated at will. (and far superior to using some dirt stained, or rusty biscuit tin). The first purchase was for as a medicine box, the second will be for recipes. Use only limited by imagination. Highly recommended.

Used for Christmas Eve box - does the job perfectly!Yes there’s the odd blemish here and there but we like that actually, have chosen to keep it as naked as possible as the knotting in the wood is lovely and would have been a shame to have painted over it.

Box is well made, feels great to the touch, not rough. Seller has a great personal touch in getting in contact to make sure everything is ok and if they can help with any other needs. Would highly recommend this seller and will be buying from them again.

Fantastic box! Looks great and is well made. Fast delivery and perfect for what I needed (keepsake box for a memory teddy bear). Easy to personalise but just as nice as it comes. Very good value for money. Will definitely be buying more!

I bought two to make up some hampers for my in-laws at Christmas and I managed to fit in everything including a pair of slippers for my mother-in-law and a bottle of whiskey for my father-in-law. Can easily reuse them again and again.

Purchased these for my grandkids, filling up with sweets for Christmas and after that they can use them to keep their pens, paper, toys etc inside. Over the moon with the quality of these boxes. Highly recommend these to everyone.
