I do like a good storage box, whether for food or other detritus around the home and I discovered Really Useful boxes around five years ago. They come in lots of different shapes and sizes and you need to be wary that you are comparing like for like as boxes can be the same capacity but a different shape. The boxes are incredibly strong overall and some of mine have survived being dropped onto the garage floor without being damaged (and also protecting the contents). In fact, my wooden garden table fell onto one of these boxes; the box survived without any damage whatsoever but my table was a different story... They are designed to be stackable and the lids clip onto the base via two handles, which hold it firmly in place.I have around 50 or 60 in total and they are mostly put to use in the loft and garage, storing things like bird seed, paperwork, tools, garden equipment, Christmas decorations and so on; there is even a Really Useful box designed to be the right size to store LP records (and I can vouch for the fact LPs fit in perfectly). As long as the boxes are the same dimensions on the base, each will stack very neatly onto the one below and the bottom of the higher box is held in place by the raised edge of the lid of the lower, so there is no chance of them accidentally falling over. As they are also clear, you can see what's in them as well, although for stacked boxes a label stuck on the front is very helpful. These particular boxes are long enough to take rolls of wrapping paper as well as posters, which has helped me to sort out all of my old concert posters and store them securely at last.If you like being organised, I think you will like the Really Useful range of boxes. I have not regretted my purchases, even though I have owned them for several years and they are subjected to extremes of temperature, being mostly used in the attic and garage.

These are, whatever the size, well, erm,EXTREMELY useful boxes !.I've got 2 of these,in one size, for instruction/makers warranty papers, for household electrical, the other, for D.I.Y.tools instructions, etc.,yeah, probably a bit sad,but I know where to find these "thingies", if needed, like miniature filing cabinets.Usually I get the 9 litre, and mostly 18 litre (when available,as they sell like the proverbial " hot cakes !!!),for, say, cordless batteries and chargers for the above - after a while,if you're anything like me,so many batteries and chargers start to look the same(bag 'em,with labels,in the Really Useful box-job done !.I recently got one of the long Really Useful,22 litre boxes (for wrappingpaper). As it is 820mm x 255mm x 155mm in size,it is excellent for putting all my hand saws in.Just use a remnant of "thick-ish" fabric,as wide as the box is longest,to protect the saw teeth against one another blade/s.Even got 'em for hobby : remote - controlled vehicle bits,model-making tools, paints, etc.,DVD's,CD's,so I think with all of this "Really Useful" -ness,it is forgivable that these boxes don't slice bread !.And last, but not least : MADE IN ENGLAND !.EXCELLENT.

I brought this storage box to store all of my Christmas and Birthday Wrapping paper in and they fit perfectly inside the box!Prior to this my wrapping paper was all dumped inside my cupboard under the stairs in a bag and it was hard to see what wrapping paper I had and hard to actually get them out, they also took up a lot of space and made the cupboard look disorganised. This box is compact and can store up to 15 rolls of wrapping paper in the box comfortably. It’s much easier to now grab the box out of the cupboard and you can see all of the wrapping paper in the box so you can easily select what you are looking for. This has made the cupboard look a lot more organised and has created more space to store other items.I store the box upright in my cupboard but it can also be stored flat or on its side.I have loosely tied a hair band at the top and bottom of each wrapping paper roll so that the roll doesn’t expand, as without them they were getting bigger after using the wrapping paper and this meant that it was a bit more of a squash to fit 15 rolls in, an elastic band would also do the trick!

Tired of wrestling with half-used rolls of wrapping paper, I was delighted to find this Really Useful Box. It's exactly the right length to hold 70cm long rolls and will store 12 or more, depending on the diameter. As the box is made of plastic, it keeps the paper clean and prevents damage to the ends of rolls. As with all Really Useful Boxes, there are two handles that flip up to hold the lid in place.Mine's going up in the attic, as I'm using it to store Christmas supplies, but the box is also just the right size to stow under the bed. I haven't seen them for sale on Amazon, but you can buy shallow A4 trays that hang in the top of the box. I bought a couple so that I could keep stamps, gift tags and cards together with the paper. As well as being perfect for roll wrap, the box will also store up to 50 DVDs (although it's not wide enough for certain boxed sets). In case you're looking for other potential used, dimensions are as follow:External: L 820mm x W 255mm x D 155mmInternal: L 750mm x W 210mm x D 140mmThe box itself weighs 1,410g.This review refers to 'Really Useful Box 22 Litre'.

We're big fans of this brand at our house. They stack securely and take an absolute beating from small humans without cracking, a problem we have encountered with just about every other storage box we've purchased. I like that the manufacturers consider the specific uses and not just make a range of arbitrary sizes. This is another item that I feel should be on a parent's Toddler Equipment List: you're going to start being invited to parties as your child starts nursery and believe me, you cannot be too prepared. Get a few rolls of unisex wrap, half a dozen inexpensive cards and some tape to toss in this box. A party will inevitably creep up on you and whilst you can make a dash for a gift at the last minute if you have to,(Or Amazon Prime it, let's face it), it pays to have these bits stashed securely so you don't have to think about those little bits every.single.time.

This is a great way to get all your left over gift wrapping and Christmas paper out the way and organised for you to used when ever you may need. All the rolls are nicely organised and won't get crushed or damaged inside. The 2 trays within the box I have used for gift tags, tape, scissors, ribbons, small gift bags and cards for all occasions that I seem to buy along the way. This box is great if you have always wanted to have all present wrapping paraphernalia all in one place. You won't regret buying this item, it works way better than the soft gift paper bags you can also buy, as the rolls of paper often get crushed in those soft bags. This box is easily stored under a bed flat or on top of or inside a cubboard,or even up right standing in a cupboard which I have also done.A must buy for all your organised people!!

These boxes are very versatile storage for just about anything around the house - as with all Really Useful Boxes, their stackability is a huge improvement on so many generic storage boxes that most supermarkets etc sell. My favourite items for storing in this particular box, apart from the obvious roll wrap tubes; are Christmas trees - if you have small or medium "with a join" trees they will often fit in one or two boxes and it makes the nightmare of crumbling cardboard boxes and always-hits-you-on-the-head-each-time-you-accidentally-dislodge-it accidents a thing of the past! Highly recommended.I've actually bought mine from the local Rymans store but they are awkward things to carry so home delivery probably better idea

These boxes are absolutely ideal for what I use them for. Tools and other bulky items. I live in a place, where storage is at a premium. I seem to have been quite lucky so far, in that I've not had any delivered damaged.Warps to lids and things are reasonably easy to fix, as long as it's not too bad. Loading the boxes in most cases will push the sides out enough for the lid to fit all the way round. If storing fragile items, one side can be offered up first. If that doesn't work, hot water or a hot air gun, applied gently from a sensible distance gently moving the nozzle all the time. Turn the box on its side and put some heavy books or weights of some kind overnight allowing to cool. These things have worked for me.

This I used for putting Christmas and birthday wrapping paper rolls in with space for cards etc.Well made, costly plastic boxes. It has tidied rooms of clutter, cabinets with draws full of junk that are now manageable without landslides every time I want to get to a charger lead that has worked its way to the darkest area of the back of the cupboard shelf. Its now a no fuss few seconds to get a box out and all the stuff is where I expect it to be and well secured so it won't fall out. I can't see, given the strength of the Really Useful range of boxes, that they will ever get accidently damaged and need replacing so as a one off purchase it is well worth the cost for me.

Nice sturdy boxes that will fit any videogame cases vertically with plenty of room to load a few more in horizontally. The box is also Really Useful for storing Manga as it fits the normal tankobon size roughly as well as it does videogames. You can store roughly 50 videogame/manga cases in each box.The main reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because when you stack multiple boxes on top of eachother, the top box will knock the handles down on the lower box which can lead to an unstable stack if you don't give it a quick little check to ensure they're stacked properly - like I said, minor. These boxes live up to their name and come highly recommended.

I brought this box to store my Christmas wrapping paper. Having been feed up of finding the wrapping paper being battered around in the loft I decided to look for a storage solution. I have had many Really Useful Boxes over the years and have always found them to be strong well made and up to any job that I have given them. This includes storing equipment in the garage to the cupboard under the stairs. This box holds at plenty of rolls of wrapping paper. I found I still had room for a couple of boxes of cards as well. I would defiantly buy another one of these boxes again if the need arose again.

I purchased this box as I had read details elsewhere that this is in fact designed for the storage of gift wrapping paper. If like me you have left over rolls of Christmas and birthday paper lying around this box is ideal. Unlike using bags created to store gift wrap, this box prevents the paper from getting squashed and creased. The box holds between 10-15 rolls of paper (70cm long) depending on the width of the tubes. The box also fits well beneath beds and as the lid is clipped together by the handles you can stand it on one end, so it's easy to store away.

Bought the first of these (now got two) when I saw the complete range available after buying a large normal box-shaped one to keep files. Having struggled for years to keep my endless supply of Christmas (and birthday, but not so many!) rolls of wrap in order, this seemed like the perfect solution and did not disappoint. Each box holds 15 standard length - but not the super-long - rolls and is easy to manage. Being clear, you can see the contents easily. Nice and solid, but not over - heavy. Reasonable price for the quality and convenience. Very happy.

I have turned into a bit of a organiser and I've been looking for something to store the bargain wrapping paper I buy just after Christmas for a while. This fits the bill perfectly. I used to have a fabric/vinyl type one, but it wasn't very durable and soon became unusable. This one is durable and the rolls of paper fit perfectly, there is quite a lot of room for at least 15 rolls and with it being see through, you can tell what you have stored straight away. I'm thinking of buying another for birthday wrapping paper as I love it so much .

Excellent sized box for wrapping paper and the like. I have used it as my Christmas Storage box. It is full of Christmas wrapping paper, tinsel, decorations, stockings and cards. I have a seperate box for my tree, but everything else fits in here, and tucks away nicely in the top of my wardrobe, as it's only needed once a year. Am very pleased with this box and, should I have more items, i.e. birthday paper, easter paper, etc. then I may purchase another one to store those too. Thank you. Would recommend.
