Beautiful keepsake box for our 8 year old daughter. Very sturdy, and bigger than I expected, which was an added bonus!My husband is the proud owner of a pyrography pen, so he went to work on it, and he said that it was so easy to do write/draw on. So I would highly recommend it for someone as a keepsake box for anyone, but also I would highly recommend it for pyrographers too!

Like a blank canvas, this box is plain and unadorned bare wood - crying out for the finishing touches such as a stain, painting or a simple clear coat just to bring out the grain.It is also very well made with precision and care. No loose fitting parts or clumsy marks.

I bought two of these for keepsake boxes for Godson and Grandpa. I was able to varnish and glue on wooden lettering with ease. Quality product which saved me time and effort

The box was just what I wanted and arrived on time. However, I have deducted a star, as the clasp does not always work effectively, in keeping the box closed.
