Not much to say about mechanical pencil leads methinks? However, these thick 1.4mm Lamy leads are just a joy to use...and they do not break every few minutes like the 0.5mm and 0.7mm varieties, which drives me nuts. The difference is quite outstanding, so if you use a mechanical pencil regularly, check out Lamy pencil products. Lamy have an even bigger lead...3.15mm...for sketching and such. Have not acquired this variety...as yet...but the temptation is growing! Highly recommended.
