The only downside to these leads is that they have a tendency to occasionally break inside the pen. However, this is more probably to do with the fact that I throw my pen into a backpack and travel an awful lot - a fairly harsh environment for a 0.7mm pencil lead to survive unscathed...

Bought these to replace the leads in my Lamy mechanical pencil. They are perfect.
