After searching and reviewing tens of domino sets, I have now found the best set I have ever seen. The dominoes are heavy and chunky, with what looks like brass spinners that are adequate for the job. These superb dominoes feel like the real McCoy, and make a chinking sound when they touch each other in your hand. I can well understand them being described as "Match Dominoes".In addition, for the price no one would expect the domino box to be leather, but it looks like leather and in keeping with the quality of the dominoes themselves. The set also comes with a set of instructions on how to play this wonderful game. Have fun!

I just love the box, it's so well made, very good looking for a present. The pieces could be of better made and quality, but they're still good. Some of the pieces have a messy painting of the dots (and I know it could be made right - the dots of Bendomino are just perfectly painted on, for example). I don't understand the use of the metal dot in the middle either, and it's a little messy as well, I hope it won't rust. The pieces seem to scratch easily. Anyway, the price is great for the perfect quality of the box you get, and the pieces look ok. I don't regret buying this item.

I brought two of these, as Christmas presents to two men in their 60's. Both of them originate from the Caribbean island of Barbados, where dominoes is still an important game.My only negative remark is that I would of liked them to be bigger, considering the age of the men who I got them for.I would of been happy to pay more money,considering one of the men I brought these for was my dad, whose more than 65 years of age.Nevertheless, a good buy - both men liked them.

Realy nice domino set but as some of the negative feedback feature remarkes about the quality are true, this set had a chip on the double 3 tile so everyone would know the tile from the back, but the lovely lady at the Amazon soon had a replacement set whizzinbg it's way to me so I could swap the tile and have a perfect set.for the price it's a let down but the Amazon service is great

THis is a superb set of dominoes do the small price tag. Sets of this quality are usually far more expensive. Gibsons who are the manufacturers have an excellent reputation in the jigsaw puzzle and games market and this set certainly lives up to there standards. I have done dozens of there jigsaws so I know from experience as to how good this excellent companies producta are.

Really good quality and much better than I needed or expected. If I was being picky there are a few very very minor marks on the rear which may mean that they are not to match standard. But in most leagues I have played in many of the dominoes have marks and knocks from use anyway. Would highly recommend these. Nice case as well.

Nicely made, sturdy, lovely, faux leather storage box. Very heavy, satisfying plastic tiles. Some of them were, however, sort of scuffed, or not polished. About half of them somehow look used. Not overtly scratched, just not pristine. All in all, very happy. Would make an excellent gift, and the box is rather handsome.

The dominoes feel good to handle and are of a good weight. The have spinners and are supplied in an excellent case (for the money). A few dominoes did have a residue of some kind on the backs but this came off with a wipe with a damp cloth. Overall, delighted!

Dominoes need no batteries. They are indestructible and travel well, you can play the game anywhere (in the world) without causing offence. They keep your brain ticking over. This set is perfect and too good to be classed as a toy. Really inexpensive fun.

This is a proper set of dominoes in a decent box. It could be used in any pub or club and the tiles themselves are of good quality - reasonably heavy and with a metal spinner.Too good to give to kids unless of an age that they will look after them

These dominoes are fantastic, they are beautifully finished and a real pleasure to play with. They would make a great Christmas gift and provide hours of great family entertainment that does not involve watching the tv or palying computer games

Fantastic set of well made dominoes. A little heavy for what I want them for, but they are a good set and the box makes them look the business. They feel good when you play, not to bulky to hold in your hand, and very clear to see the numbers.

Black on one side making it difficult to spot (like cheating). I ordered them for our indoor games league, opponents love them, in fact, they are going to order them for their team. Two of my friends ordered them through me via Amazon.

I bought this to take on cruises and it matches the cribbage set. We use it a lot but it is a bit heavy to take on some of our trips but I would definitely buy it again if I needed to. It looks smart and it feels like quality
