I bought these large dominoes for my 98 year old Granny, and they did not disappoint. The wooden pieces are wonderfully 'chunky' and so picking up and putting them down with shaky hands was not a problem. They look nice too, and the fact that they are coloured makes it easier to distinguish between the numbers. All in all this purchase was an absolute triumph and whilst my suggestion to play was initially met with a somewhat dubious shrug, I am very happy to report that these jumbo wooden dominoes have made a once much loved but long forgotten game accessible once more, providing a practical and emotional trip down memory lane into the bargain!

Great domino set for young kids, my 4year old loves playing with these. It really helps with their numbers and counting as well as patten recognition. The different colours makes it easier for younger ones to match them up also helping them with colour recognition. All round great product very good for productive play the only downside is that it doesn't come with a box with a lid?? So be careful when opening the cardboard box as I've found putting them in the wooden container back in the box helps to make sure they are all there.

These play pieces are well made and the perfect size for smaller children to hold. My 5 year old finds these less frustrating to play with than the standard sized pieces. Each number is represented with different coloured dots which makes this set great for working on colour recognition as well as counting skills. The finish is good and my only issue is why the storage box doesn't come with a lid, it would make it so much easier to store safely, without keeping the outer cardboard box. Still a lovely set though.

Beautifully made and finished, light in weight, easy for small fingers. Dots are brightly coloured which helps with colour and number recognition. Although it says on the box, "recommended age 3 years+" I gave them to my grand-daughter - under supervision of course - at 26 months, no trouble about her putting them in her mouth, perhaps they are just too big for small moths. She has to use them each time she visits.

They are large enough to hold, but won't go in his mouth! The wood makes a very satisfactory sound, when clicked together, and you can pile them up. He also points to the spots, and we quietly say how many. They will be great in the future for introducing various arithmetic concepts, but for now he mostly enjoys stacking them up, applauding himself, then knocking them over!Good value: recommended.

These dominoes are designed for small children to grip while matching numbers but I bought them for my mother-in-law who is in a residential home where I was warned to look for large tiles because some residents may put them in their mouths. These are sturdy and too big to swallow. My only regret is that there aren't more pieces in each set -- we go through 24 pretty quickly.

Bought for Christmas, this Bigjigs Jumbo Wooden Domino set is ideal for my 3yr old grandson. We have played happily with it on the carpet. A lovely robust, wooden domino game which will give hours of fun. Lovely chunky pieces for small hands, with colour coded numbers to help child to recognise both colours and numbers. Perfect!

I bought this product for my father who has only sight in one eye and is generally frail. It was great to see him able to see the coloured spots and handle the dominoes with ease. Wish I had bought them a long time ago for him. They are easy to handle, clean very well and are generally a good quality game.

I bought these for use with dementia patients. They are good quality wooden dominoes with a wipe-clean surface. The coloured spots on the dice make them easy for the old folks to see, the size is ideal for playing with a group of six.Several colleagues have asked me where I bought them.

Bought this for our 3 year old twin granddaughters...excellent product. Good sized dominoes and neat tray to house them. Girls learnt to match the dominoes and stand them for a domino tumble. Easy to handle for small hands..now to teach how to play dominoes!

Absolutely brilliant. A colorful, virtually indestructible, set of dominoes with the advantage of color-coding to help young children learn this exciting, universal family game. Highly recommended for everyone and every household should have one.

Bought these for elderly mother who has limited vision. However, with some support, she is able to enjoy taking part in a game with these. Very sturdy, the wooden tray container is an excellent idea. Overall, great purchase.

Rating is for quality and design very good value. Sadly not suitable for dads eye condition macular as yellow dots are not dark enough for him please make with raised dots and dark shades for partially sighted ?
