I used this for the aeration vent of a saniflo macerator pump, to replace the carbon filter it came with. The carbon filter we had was quite a few years old and pretty rough looking and we were getting bad smells in the bathroom the saniflo uni is in. I bought these carbon filters because they look kindof similar to what I had and were pretty good value, I cut it to size and put it in the vent on my unit - the smell is much better!!

Another necessary filter for the looked-after tank. Reduces metals etc in the water, but needs changing every month or the carbon starts to release what it has gathered back into the water. Remove carbon filters if using medicines because the filter will take that out too.

This Juwel Carbon filter is a part of the other sections in the tank filter. Always reliable & efficient. The carbon lasts longer than a lot of alternatives & a great price too. I can hIghly recommend the Juwel range.

I won't buy fluval again now I found this, easy to cut, fits my largest filters and perfect in both Turtles and fish tanks5*CRUSH and RINSE before use

Happy enough some people don’t use carbon I have to say it takes the smell out water and had my tank spotless amazon cheapest for them too five stars

I have used these for a couple of years now.. And found them to last longer then the cheaper ones.. Easy to use and wash and keeps the Water clear

Great quality carbon filter. I wrapped it around a small water pump in a terrarium for a crystal clear water fall pool.
