Received this product for review via US Mail on 19 August 2019. Was sort of surprised that a review was requested so soon, however...Read through the documentation upon receipt and promptly charged the unit. Two lights were already lit upon plugging it in, so it came with some sort of charge. I left it, (forgot), for about two hours at which time all four lights were lit. The earbuds have been used for approximately 12 hours total (in approx. 2 hour increments), and are always returned to the charging case. The case still shows three lights a week later. Once charged, I needed to refer back to the documentation to connect Bluetooth to my phone, (Galaxy S7 edge).Hooking up via Bluetooth is not as intuitive as I'd prefer. Nothing on the unit itself identifies a Bluetooth icon, button, etc. Not a deal breaker I don't suppose, but the documentation was definitely needed in my case. Had to refer to it again when I set them up on the tablet (Galaxy Tab A).1st listen was music of course. Normally I use a purchased version of Neutron music player, but also checked them with a free version of Black Player. Detected the 1st bit of dropout at about 35 feet away from the phone, (haven't tried distance from Tablet yet, but suppose it would be near the same). Seems that's better than 33 feet for Bluetooth though.Putting on (in) the earbuds was a bit awkward for me at first. I wear glasses and have since come to the conclusion it's easier for me to remove my glasses for a moment while putting these in. Still figuring out which size ear "tip" is best suited for my right ear. Another product I'd purchased (Under Armor Sport Wireless) also came with different sizes of the twist lock enhancers, these do not. Wonder if that would have been beneficial.?Went into the garage about 30 feet away from my wife and had her call me in order to check out phone capability to receive a phone call. Worked as it should, had no problems hearing her and she had no problems hearing me. Have not tried to make a call with them, if possible, but don't think I've got my phone set up that way anyhow. I was going to set it up once until it said it needed access to everything including contacts. Sorry, but a phone call should not need access to pictures. My insecurities I guess.Have used them twice to watch movies from the tablet and have had no issues. As far as sound, I don't think I'd go outstanding, but would definitely say excellent. They've got more Bass than I expected and I definitely enjoy them. The comfort for me is awesome. Having a "loop" around my ear which I wasn't sure I was going to care for hasn't been bothersome at all. About the only thing I don't care for is the controls, which is why no 5 star rating. There is no tactile feel when you reach up to your ear to adjust sound level, answer phone, etc., everything is smooth. You kind of blindly stab at controls you can't see for the actions and it just isn't friendly in my opinion. Even hooking up Bluetooth while holding it in your hand is a bit of a guessing game, (tap once, tap again and hold for 5 seconds). Once set up, (I'd keep the documentation for future reference), I've not had any issues reconnecting to either the phone or tablet. I definitely like the fact there are no wires at all.Do to a complete waste of summer here in mid Kansas, I wasn't able to check these out in the pool so can't speak on the part about being waterproof.Explaining my star ratings, I'm giving durability and value an average rating. 1 week ownership doesn't tell me how durable they are, and since I do not know what the retail asking price will be, I've no idea how to rate value. Technologically Advanced is because of the controls. All in all though, I'm pretty pleased with these. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

PACKAGING: Very Nice! There are 2 Earbuds with a touch control panel on the Right Side only, a microUSB charging cable (no wall outlet block), charging/carrying case, and extra earbud tips for different ear canal sizes. The manual indicates that it comes with 2 "enhancers". Don't be fooled, they are already attached to the earbuds and ready for operation and not separate pieces in the box. BLUETOOTH: Paired automatically and immediately/seamlessly with Iphone Xs and never dropped out. After paring with one device, you will need to tap control panel once, tap again, and hold the touch control panel to pair with subsequent devices. EARBUD DESIGN: Superb! Plastics are a soft touch plastic and feels high end.Twist and Lock feature works very well for fit. The buds are lightweight and secured with over the ear hook.EARBUD OPERATION: Needs some refinement. The Right Earbud touch control panel controls music playback through a series of touches. Play-1 tap, FF-2 taps, Reverse-3 taps, and answering calls-1 tap. I don't believe there is SIRI access to initiate calls. However, once a call is initiated from your phone/watch, you can talk with the earbuds and sound is very clear on both ends. It is possible to use only one Earbud but it MUST BE THE RIGHT EARBUD as the left does not have a touch control panel. Volume up/down is performed by sliding your finger along the edge of the control panel/ear bud. This is the same touch panel that controls all other functions, thus the problem. It will work but it takes practice and there is a learning curve. I found myself pausing the music when I try to adjust volume with the touch control panel. Its not a problem for me as I have it pared to my watch which will control the volume. JBL may need to look at moving the volume controls to the left ear bud for future models. SOUND: Very Clear and Bright. Good spatial separation of instruments. Vocals are very clear and precise. The soundstage appears to be rather neutral. Bass is adequate but will be lacking for those liking heavy bass forward headphones. These headphones are all about clarity, soundstage, instrumentation and not thumping bass. Those who love Rap Music and heavy bass will be disappointed. That is not to say that there is no bass, its just balanced with the rest of the sound range. CHARGING CASE: Soft touch plastic with LED indicators to communicate charging status. It offers superb protection for the earbuds. The charging case is NOT waterproof. BATTERY LIFE: Mine lasted 4 hours exactly. Charging via the headphone case and plugged into the wall took about 1 hr. WATERPROOF: Yup you CAN swim with these in! However, make sure they are completely dry before putting them back into the charging case!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The JBL Endurance Peak are a well executed package. They come tightly packed in a magnetic package with the buds, the charging case, 3 sizes of ear tips, a short micro USB cord, and the usual paperwork. The buds stand out right away, especially in the red color I have. They are completely wireless! The right side is the master and must be used all the time. It has the mic and the controls. The left can be worn for stereo or not at all and the right may function alone as mono. It’s too bad you can’t alternate the master bud to extend battery life, but it’s understandable. Immediately when the buds are removed from the case for the first time, they enter pairing mode. (Giving off the familiar JBL chime). They paired quickly to an iPhone XS. I put them in my ear using the locking method shown in the booklet. Starting forward and turning towards the back and placing the hook behind my ear. They sealed to my ear right away. At first I felt them to be a little bit tight, but then I got used to them and adjusted the position to relieve the pressure. They sounds excellent!!! The sound profile is very balanced with a very slightly lean toward the lows. This is accomplished by the right seal with the ear. Without this, the bass wouldn’t hit the way it does. They are not actively noise cancelling, but that seal might as well make them noise cancelling. The passive noise cancellation is one of the best I’ve heard. I listened to a variety of music from my workout play list. Older metal is punchy and fast. The JBL keep up without fatigue. Some rap and hip hop tracks that I tried hit with accurate bass and crystal clear vocals. Some cheaper phones get muddy with the bass, but these remained true. I wouldn’t say they’re the most bass you can get, but for this style of ear bud, they’re excellent. I through on a few mellow acoustic tracks just for fun. Again, JBL signature sounds was true and accurate with a warm sound. Looks are objective, but for a sport true wireless at this price, they are very good. They don’t feel heavy and I quickly forgot they were on once I got moving. They also never lost their seal! That’s locking hook actually works. They hold a 4 hour charge and I never ran them out during single use. Once they’re back in the case, they charge back up. The case offers 24 extra hours of battery. This is more than enough for me to work out a full week between charging. Maybe 2 weeks. The case isn’t too big, about the size of 2 decks of cards together. Overall, I’d say JBL has a hit with these for someone wanting a running or workout earphone that’s true wireless. Only con was they don’t include an actual charger, but I just used the one from an iPad. Can’t wait to see what JBL comes up with next! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The JBL Endurance PEAK Wireless headphonesI’ve been using the PEAK Earbuds now for a few days and I can honestly say that I am truly impressed with what JBL has created! Before in wireless Bluetooth headphones you could get the high sounds, some of the mid sounds, but never the lows...JBL makes these headphones sound light years ahead of the competition at a much more affordable price than their competitors. Design: When first opening the box I was a little taken away at the fact they put so much work into the professional packaging job. The unboxing is an important facet of analyzing tech and they left a very nice first impression. The wrap around design, heavy board box and colorful designs keep them at par with Apple brands.Upon opening the box and getting my hands on the earbuds and charging box I was eagerly wanting to know how they fit. To my anticipation they are the best fitting sport earbuds I have ever tried on. They are a seem less fit and the wrap around ear hook fits snuggly around the back of your ear giving you security you will not lose them. The other design feature that stands out is the touch control feature. This is a must have for me on all earbuds in the future. Earbuds before have had these hard to click buttons and usually you would have no idea even if you were pressing the right button. No more with the PEAK earbuds! You tap on the right ear bud with your finger to play music, stop music, answer a call, or end a call. You swipe up or down to lower or raise the volume. You tap two times to skip a song and tap three times to go to a previous song. Really nice job on this feature JBL! Sound Quality:Before I received the JBL PEAK Earbuds I was using Bose Sound Sport Earbuds. The Bose earbuds were great but pale in comparison to the JBL PEAK Earbuds. Again, I found with the Bose earbuds that I could get the highs and mids but I always figured that I would have to sacrifice my bass sound in order to have wireless headphones. That’s where JBL proved me so wrong! After trying on the JBL PEAK Earbuds I found them to even match the sound quality of my wired Power Beats. The highs, mids, and lows were all so clear and precise with these earbuds! I’m truly blown away! No more do you have to sacrifice sound quality for accessibility! Conclusion:The JBL Endurance PEAK Wireless Headphones are miles above their competitors in my opinion. From packaging, to design, to sound quality they have done it all for about $40-$80 below competitors prices! If you are looking for an amazing headphone with amazing quality at a great price look no further. JBL has what you’re looking for! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

These are my first pair of wireless earbuds. Earbuds usually put too much pressure on my ears or make my ears hurt after 20 mins or so, until I ran across the JBL Mini Reflect, so I was anxious to try these. I've had these for a bit more than a week, they seem to be living up to the claim to never hurt. I've had them on for sessions of more than 2 hours and they stayed pretty comfortable - I know they're there, but they don't bother me. I've tried out the different sizes of the ear tips, the medium are a bit too big, but I get the best sound quality that way, the small ones give my ears less pressure, but they let in some ambient noise, which I actually welcome when I go jogging so I have awareness of my surroundings. That said, these earbuds still sealed out the sounds of bikes for me, but I could hear cars; but the small size ear tips is probably why I had to adjust the ear buds a few times when I jogged, as they started loosening, maybe it was the sweat as well, but they never really fell out. I really appreciate jogging with wireless headphones so I don't hear the flapping noise of the wires, or just the fact that I have to manage the wire. The sound quality is very nice. As mentioned, the tighter the ear tips are inside your ears, the better the sound quality, esp the bass. As for the connection and controls - as soon as you extend the right hook the earbuds turn on and get connected, then if you put on the left one, it takes a couple seconds of silence, which I had mistaken as the pair not connecting to my phone at all and I kept tapping to try to make things work. The controls are natural and easy to adapt - single tap to play/pause, double tap to fastfoward, triple tap to go back to rewind, swipe up to increase vol, down to decrease.I haven't received called with these yet, but would like to try that out eventually.Last but not least, I always appreciate JBL's packaging, these earbuds come in a very nifty re-chargable case where you put your earbuds inside when you don't use them, and then your earbuds get charged; you can also charge both the case and the earbuds, which you're supposed to do before the first use.Overall, I'm very happy with these earbuds. I'll probably switch out the different sizes of the eartips to see how that change the comfort level and sound qualify. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My quick list of pros and cons after a short time (1-1.5 weeks) with these:Pros:- materials of earbuds and case feel solid and appear to be of high quality- silicone tips and covers are soft and comfortable as are the behind-the-ear hooks- single tap to play/pause music very handy- magnetic bits that hold ear hooks closed and hold the buds in the case feel solid and latch on with a satisfying "click"- very secure fit without being uncomfortable, some "boominess" perceived when stepping heavily but nothing like the stethoscope effect you get with corded earbuds. This effect can be mitigated by loosening the ear tip fit a bitCould Be Slightly Better:- case is a little bulky- micro-USB and noUSB-C- pairing is slower than my other Bluetooth devices but not painfully so- sound is not bad but low and high end are slightly too emphasized for my tastes. The mids feel scooped a bit too much. While this kind of EQ can sound "high end" at first, it eventually gets fatiguing. This EQ profile is also not as good for spoken word (audiobooks, podcasts) as my more middy audio devicesCons:- touch controls to fast forward, rewind and raise/lower volume aren't great. This is especially true for the rewind gesture - 3 taps. Sometimes the triple tap is registered as a double tap. Feedback for FF and rewind is also the same (double beep, IIRC) so it's impossible to tell which way you went. This is really confusing when listening to a book or podcast and want to quickly rewind to listen to a part I missed. Volume controls seem to work 90% of the time and are pretty good- drop-outs. I use these earbuds with my phone in my back pocket and sometimes I can go for 2-3 hours without a single drop out. Occasionally, I'll get a series of quick drop outs of one or both buds. The drop outs last for less than half a second but they are distractingConclusion:I really like these and would recommend them to anyone in the market for a secure-fitting wireless earbud set. EQ could be better but it's not terrible. Of the "Cons" in my list above, the controls are an annoyance and the drop-outs happen only very occassionally.

I was very excited to get my new JBL Endurance Peak earbuds. I must be honest, they have both pros and cons. First, I had a difficult time getting them into my ears, but once I figured it out, they were actually very comfortable. I wasn't impressed with the sound quality, at first, but then realized I needed to use the medium sized tips. That helped tremendously and I was very surprised at how great they sounded. I've had them now for about 10 days or so and use them every night, to listen to my Ambient music, which helps me sleep. I have used many headphones and earbuds for this purpose and have found that these hurt my ears if I lay my head with my ear pressed on my pillow,so I have to sort of hang my head off the edge, so that they don't get pressed into my ear, as it can be quite painful. Other then that, the comfort is GREAT. They are very secure and I don't have to worry about them falling off of or out of my ears. The case didn't take long to charge and that's a nice feature. I don't like however, the way the volume works, as I've accidentally paused and skipped songs because the earbuds didn't understand what I was wanting to do. I feel this is a significant design flaw. I have looked to find an app for the earbuds, thru android play store, but apparently there isn't one. It would be nice to have an app with an equalizer and to show battery life, while wearing them. I have noticed that they do have a great battery life and honestly the sound quality is excellent. I only wish that they would turn up a little louder. Bottom line is that this is a great product and at very good price for such good quality. They just have a few small kinks that need to be worked out. But, I trust that JBL will correct the issues and continue to produce excellent sounding, quality products, and will remain my favorite manufacturer of stereo quality sounding speakers, whether it's in my home, car, ears or sitting on my nightstand. I've owned every type of speaker JBL makes and they are all fantastic. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I received these from JBL for an unbiased review. The premium look and feel of the Endurance PEAK was apparent as soon as I opened the box. The charging case is very nice, and feels good quality without being heavy, which is surprising for the level of charge it keeps. I’ve been wearing these for at least 45 minutes per day for a week, and not had to charge the case once; It’s actually still showing (via the four lights on the front of the box) as above 75% charge remaining! As for the earphones themselves, firstly let me say I’ve never really been a fan of the in-ear type, preferring the earbud style for better comfort. I found the Endurance PEAK a little awkward to locate correctly in my ear the first couple of times, but now I’m aware of the angle/direction required, it’s no problem. As I’ve stated before, I’ve been using these for around 45 minutes per day for around a week, and find them light and comfortable, with no discomfort whatsoever. Once Bluetooth has been set up, they connect automatically to my Huawei Mate 20 Pro as soon as they’re removed from the case, taking just the 3-5 seconds it takes to remove them from the case and put them in my ears. Perfect! As someone who wears glasses all the time, I thought they might battle for space behind my ear, but that’s not the case as the ‘hook’ part hugs the edge of the back of your ear, rather than the side of your head.I found the sound wasn’t quite optimised in my left ear, lacking bass somewhat, but found that changing the angle they sat was the problem. A swap in size of the rubber tip on that side solved that. For the size of the units, the bass is surprisingly good, and the treble isn’t ‘tinny’, as I’ve experienced with other earphones.Overall, while I still feel a little awkward about having something actually IN my ear, rather than resting in the ‘outer’ (more a squeamish problem on my part – ever seen The Wrath of Khan?), for sound quality, connectivity and comfort, I would choose the JBL the Endurance PEAK over my old earbud type every day of the week.

First, I would like to thank for giving me an opportunity to review it. This review is based on three-day period of using this product. Second, everything from the outer box to user manuals and choices of materials looks really great. It exactly represents the product. Third, the idea of a charger case is cool. It does not look bulky but rather functional and durable. Fourth, the headphone itself also looks and feels like it truly is a high-quality product. Fifth, twistlock, flexsoft, lightweight, and securefit features really work well. I have no idea about waterproof since I see no reason to drop it in a glass of water just to confirm it. Sixth, the auto power has not been automatic for a few times between the headphone and cellphone as well as between right and left pieces of the headphone itself. Seventh, the touch control is easy to maneuver. Eighth, the sound quality is great for music. It is a clear, high-quality sterio. However, it is not that great for phone call. I guess it's a mono since I only hear the voice from the right side. It feels like the caller and the receiver are so far apart from their phones. It sounds like both parties use a speaker function. Although the sound quality for phone call is the only flaw that I have for the product, I think that it is a sinificant one for your consideration. Again, I appreciate the opportunity to try and review it. I hope my review is helpful. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I own a few pairs of completely wireless headphones from companies such as Bose and Apple. First off these are by far the best for the money. They sound way better than the Apple AirPods. No distortion and a perfect sound stage. They hit every note without missing a beat. They also function as good as the AirPods for the fact they are touch sensitive. These headphones are water resistant which makes it so I can use them for workouts and also not have to worry if I’m out in the rain and they get wet. The range on these is remarkable. I have a pretty big piece of property and I can go all over my house, as well as walk outside and have my phone inside without dropping the Bluetooth. The case is built well.I like how it has metal hinges and an led indicator on the front. These headphones turn on and off when the magnet on the ear hook simple touches the speaker portion of the headphone. Once you open them up they turn right on. As compared to other brands, these are noise isolating. Since they sit in the ear canal they block allot of outside noise without the use of active noise cancelling. I find this to be a great design because sometimes anc could be annoying. These are way worth the price and I’m enjoying these the most out of all my pairs of wireless headphones. My only issue is when I try to charge them, they don’t make a great connection sometimes in order to charge. Otherwise they are perfect.

Initial impressions upon first opening were very positive. Packaging relays perception of a quality unit. Everything was neat and laid out nicely. The red coloring makes it pop and has a nice appeal. Really a fan of the charging box as I call it. I like that it has a uniform feel to other JBL products. Example is as simple as showing it's charging progress. The lights are the same as on my JBL Extreme (first model). The headphones place nicely in the box. Construction of the box feels solid for carrying it around. Functionality of the headphones is simple if you read the directions. There are nice visual ques in the box showing that the right headset is the dominant one for use of them.I was scratching my head at first figuring this out. But use is simple after learning. Sound quality is solid. Decent bass and highs. Not a life changing experience, but very good quality for a Bluetooth driven headset. Have not had a chance to test them while running to see if they keep in place, but initially, they do feel tight and solid to my ears. All in all, I am very happy initially with these headphones. I've been running with these on the treadmill at the gym for about a week and they are holding up better than any bluetooth headphone I've tried, I didn't realize until after I got them that they were IPX7 which means they are fully submersible! Perfect for a heavy sweater like myself. I'm confident these will last. Sound is good enough, but not very loud. I have the volume on my phone turned all the way up but it just seems like they should be louder? I have not successfully been able to control the volume on these at all, neither up or down. What's strange is that it appears both earbuds can pause the music when you tap them, from what the manual says only the right one is supposed to do this.I have't been able to successfully skip or go back tracks by tapping either.I basically only run with these on the treadmill with my phone nearby but would love the option of not having to use my phone for volume and skipping. I bought these headphones in the box second hand so I don't have a receipt for a warranty unfortunately.

I am been using the headphones pass week and I am amazed how clear is the sound on these little headphone.i have home speakers JBL all my cars has JBL speakers and amplifier. I listen music religiously and I am been around speakers more then 20 years. It's amazing how they can give such a pure sound from little headphones. Just like what you would except from jbl..they been in speaker business longer then nyanother company. Even though it's in ear headphone its performance will match any over the ear headphone. Stays in the ear very well. It's not heavy at all so after some time using it you dont even know they are there. Bass is deep. Charging box is very well made. Bluetooth range is above 100feet.These are water proof and while I was doing laps on the pool I wear them and no issue whatsoever. Another great product from JBL that puts compitation in the dust. You will never beat jbl sound quality. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I've had these headphones for about a week now. I purchased them because I work out daily like 2-3 hours a day. Blasting music from my garage is unfair to neighbors, wired headphones get in the way, I purchased wireless headphones that wrap around the back of your head but it's impossible to run or jump with them. I figured I'd try these and I've been pleasantly surprised. Water resistant, sweat resistant, charges quickly, long battery life, carrying case with additional battery life, fits slug into my ears, almost completely tunes out other sounds when my volume is half way. I've run about 10 miles with them in, no issues. I've done thousands of jump ropes without issue as well Overall a great set.I've used them for calls as well and my friends say they can't tell a difference. I tried to use this on a PS4 and it wouldn't connect due to PlayStation Bluetooth settings. No big deal though, I'll use them for everything else.

What can I say, another fantastic product put out by JBL. I love these babies! As soon as I got then I read the Instructions and off I went for a run. The magnetic on/off feature is awesome now I don't have to remind myself to turn them off. Another cool feature is the finger touch volume control. Just a slight slide of the finger on the right earbud up or down while running, biking, or at the gym is a life saver. Water proof, sweat proof, and wireless = Outstanding. Now onto the case. It comes with a tiny well build chageable case the holds the buds in place as it charges them. You're given a lightbar in the front to show how much battery life you have left.It also comes with 3 sets of soft rubber ear inserts and the iconic orange USB charging cord. All and all I am a happy customer and look forward to the next amazing thing they come up with. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
