The First reason I buy Tefal over any other non stick pan is simply because Teflon isn’t the real concern though. In the making of Teflon chemical called perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) is used, which can still remain on the finished product. PFOA is well understood, and known to be extremely toxic to the lungs and liver, and when the pan is heated, PFOA can be released, and inhaled. Being so well known for its toxic effects, Tefal have ensured that all their pans are PFOA free as of 2003, and have their pans independently tested by various labs to confirm this. The Second reason is the cookware lasts a long time. Over the years I have used these and spoilt some but since at least in the past 10 years I always use a little oil and spread it like one would do on a baking tin.

Best frying pan I have ever owned. Things cook so amazingly well. My Mum has sworn by this pan for years and has owned several variations of this pan over the years so I finally caved after a cheaper brand non-stick coating disintegrated within a couple of months. This has already proved an amazing purchase!. It heats nicely and evenly, retaining a fantastic heat to cook anything. Even on low heat it spreads the temperature extremely well and cooks food well.Great, solid, well manufactured product and will definitely buy again when I eventually, inevitably accidentally scrape the non-stick coating off myself by using a metal utensil by mistake!

We wanted one of these for some time,(Wife = Jamie Oliver Fan,Me= Tefal Fan)!Was a little apprehensive after reading comments re 'Flaking Coating' but while Rivets soon became exposed the rest of the Pan is fine and seems to function very well.I have no idea how to address the issue of Wamth with regard to a Frying Pan, and can only say it gets appropiately 'Warm' when heated,unless this is some kind of deeper philosophical enqury,in which case I feel unqualified to answer effectively,All in all,We are both happy with our purchase!

I've had this for just over a month now am am very happy with it. It's very well made, looks great and the non stick coating is, so far, working well without signs of flaking. I wash this by hand and use wooden utensils by the way. And it works well on our Bosch Induction hob. Although the handle is metal the underside is rubberised and I've not had issues with heat (induction hobs help with this due to the way that they magnetically heat). Time will tell if it lasts but I'm now thinking of buying other pans in the range.

Used almost every day, we are delighted with this pan. It's so easy to cook with, nothing sticks even with minimal/no oil and it's big enough to cook a large batch in. The lid fits well enough that evaporation round the edges is slow but it still needs checking occasionally. It is quite heavy, especially with a big meal in it. The only slight draw-back is that the lid is not glass so it has to be lifted to see what's going on inside. Nevertheless, I thoroughly recommend it.

I usually buy quite cheap pans and seem too replace them fairly regularly. This time I splashed out on a Jamie Oliver stainless steel pan and have been really pleased with the results. It just cooks things really well. The thick base retains the heat leading to great results from steak to brilliant scrambled eggs, The non stick surface is as new even after several months use. You can even put it in the oven if you want to get the Chefy finish. Overall a great purchase.

I bought it on a deal and save 15% but even if I hadn’t, it would have been worth it. Non stick is excellent and it’s super sturdy. Quite heavy, so maybe not ideal for some but really good quality.This is my second one and while the first, smaller one is showing its age and not as good as new, it’s still in service after many years.

This Proline is so much superior to the domestic Tefal line, so much so I threw my enamels pan out. it cleans great, super good quality and is perfect for everything. this works well on the hob and inside the oven. make sure you buy the silicone handle cover for oven use. I'll be looking for more bargains on this range.

I have a powerful induction hob. This wok and some of the other tefal pans have really good thick bases which give perfectly even heat. Honestly I’ve had many non stick pans and woks over the years, these new ones with the thick stainless steel bases are the best. Heavy but superb.

The coating of the previous wok is broken. So I have to purchase a new now. And this time, I try a high efficient product. The bottom of the wok is thick which looks very quality reliable. And good at heat transition. So far, it performs well.

This is an item that is used and used and when worn out it is replaced with the same again and again - just a really good size - easily used and when food is hot and bubbling can then go in the oven to finish cooking - a great pan.

Great pan, non stick works as expected, quality is much much better than the viners pan it replaces. Using on a gas hob, but compatible with all the others including induction. Would buy again.

It is simply a very good tool, food cook evenly and you don’t need to burn fats in the pan because it is highly no stick. The thick bottom still gives meat and fish a nice colorful seared.

This was a replacement for my professional range one. Excellent choice, not quite as solid but perfect for everyday use. Very good value and can be replaced more frequently at this price

Love this pan - it is my second in 8 years so I am never short of a good pan. Easy to clean, cooks amazingly with no sticking. Husband loves doing the washing up when I use this pan.
