Purchased as a Requested gift for the better half..... she had a Jack Wolfskin jacket a long time ago which performed absolutely excellent for many many years. But when the time came to change I persuaded her to change to another brand (Ber....s) as I had had very good service from mine and it was a little more versatile. However her replacement jacket really never lived up to her or my expectations. The quality was not up to scratch which led to a short service life. Hence she was not going there again! ‘I’d like another Wolfskin jacket please..’ And so it was bought. She’s really happy with this one which is basically the newer version of her old one (I’m talking 20+ years ago as well)

After taking months deciding on what jacket to buy I am so pleased I bought this. My main concern was that I needed a jacket to keep me warm, something insulated everywhere and waterproof. The hood is insulated as are the sleeves and body. The pockets are fleece lined. The hood is large enough to go over my whole head and around my face. It has an inside pocket for my phone and also an outside chest pocket. The jacket comes down over the hips so there are no draughts and is shaped at the bottom. Don't be fooled by 3 in 1 jackets, trust me they are not going to keep you warm,Ive had many well known brands and they are nowhere near as good as this jacket. I noticed some reviewers said the sleeves are too long,

Looks good. Size M fits well. I am normally size S in jack wolfskin jackets, so i suggest to order one size up. Material is soft, I expected hardshell. I hope it is waterproof, time will tell, and I hope it washes well at low temperature, as the colour is very bright, it could easily stain. It is warm. Goes well with my new hat from Barts, colour lipstick, grey scarf and gloves!

Great jacket - i’ve been wearing his virtually every day since I bought it. The only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is the colour. I bought the blue because I already have a red JW jacket (and a pair of pinky red trousers I wanted to wear the jacket with) Lovely and warm. Lots of pockets including a breast pocket which is ideal for your mobile phone.

Love the colour blue ,, waterproof yes ,, not as good as my old jack wolf skin coat ..if hood is up I can’t hear anyone speak clearly sounds like someone trampling in snow ,, draft down back of neck could be a more substantial collar ,, pockets could be more fleece and slightly deeperAll in all sorry but not as impressed with it

Buying this jacket is one of the best deals I have ever made. If you are living in a place where it rains a lot, and too cold for a thin waterproof raincoat, this might be the best choice you can make. It is comfortable, it keeps you warm and dry.
