This is a superb jacket for the cold winter months. It is incredibly light and it is almost impossible to imagine that a coat that feels so light could keep you as warm as this does! Very cleverly, one of the side pockets also doubles up as a stow bag ... which means that the coats folds into itself and can then be carried very easily.The coat is also water resistant, but while it has no problem coping with a shower, I wouldn't recommend going out into the pouring rain with just this on. If the weather is cold and wet, I slip a lightweight, fully waterproof, outer layer on top of this.I hope you find this helpful.

Very good price has to wait for stock to arrive comfortable and light great for autumn and spring, not waterproof but is very warm.
