The Jabra Elite 65t bad boys are, at present, earning their keep. With Covid-19 at the front door, I'm able to work from home whilst listening to Spotify and still answer the (mobile) phone.I have been doing some home exercising - yes, I know. It's a shock to me, too - and they've managed to stay in. One small, slight problem was whilst running. I don't know if it's because of my ears or the silicone earpieces but I did that I had to adjust them every so often; not a deal-breaker, but a little inconvenient. The "hear-through" feature is in equal parts awesome and annoying. It uses the microphones to inject the environment into your ears. It works well but can be a little noisy at times. These microphones (4 in total,I believe) are pretty good at picking up the talking but they are also pretty good at picking up the wind on blustery days. But that's the same with most wireless earphones, I'm afraid - nothing specific to these ones. The app is a nice touch - allowing 3 types of personalised settings to be created. This I've found invaluable; different equalisers as well as Soundscapes (background noises for different activities) and the hear-through function.Okay, so they fit, they work and they connect really quickly (to my Huawei mobile and my PC). The battery is good - I've only charged the box once more since the initial charge and that's been over the period of 3 weeks - I use them for an hour at lunch to listen to streaming programmes. Actually, there is on occasion, a little lag but that's only at work, in the office. So, it's all good and even the sound, whilst not totally perfect, it's still good enough to give much more expensive earphones a battle considering the actual price. They are comfortable, work well with Okay Google and the little buttons on the left for volume and next track/previous track work without effort.I'm very pleased with these, I must say. Yes, there are a few flaws that could do with ironing out, but really, I'm a perfectionist when it comes to technology and there's nothing out there that has reached 100% for me, in any field. These come pretty close, tho.Right, I'm off to take a selfie using the right button as my camera shutter (not the photo supplied below!)One last tip, the storage/charging box is quite awkward to open unless you press the little lip in, first...Read full review...

When researching the Jabra Elite 65t I thought they looked a bit cumbersome, However when they arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the size and look of them, smaller than expected. The two buds and the charging case arrived with a 90% charge so I could try them out straight away. The left earbud has two small notches that enable you to turn the volume up and down and skip tracks if you press it for a bit longer. The right earbud lets you answer phone calls, pause and play the music. Found this really easy to use. One feature I thought was excellent is when you take an earbud out it will stop or pause the music. When you pop it back in it continues from where you left off.The earbuds battery life is very good and easily lasts over 4 hours,The charging case has enough power for two charges so in that respect they are very good. The charging case however is fiddly to open and requires quite a squeeze to open the lid, as the plastic is very smooth you do run the risk of dropping. The usb charging cable however is ridiculously short and only of any real use if you are charging it from a laptop.I wasn't blown away by the sound quality of the Elite 65T neither did I think it was terrible. I’m not a sound specialist but it just seemed to lack a bit of punch or atmosphere. I compared it with a pair that came with my phone (just wired headphones) and it was marginal to which i preferred. My phone has a dolby atmos setting that improved the sound quality somewhat. To further fiddle with the sound quality I would recommend downloading the Jabra app, here you can adjust the Bass, Mid range and treble and save your preferred settings. I particularly enjoyed the soundscapes here you can choose various sounds from nature such as a thunder storm or birds tweeting , should you wish to relax or just drown out background noise whilst you are working,Practicality wise being untethered from the phone whilst listening to a podcast and answering calls came in to its own. Answering calls was simple press on the earbud and the clarity of the call was exceptional. The bluetooth connection was very stable and had great range too.. These earbuds aren't cheap and I was expecting the sound quality to be better than just OK. However they are extremely practical, fit well, and are a joy to use.Read full review...

First impressions:Unpacked the box with the earphones and found that as the65t was removed from the case the earbuds got switched on and the program started loading!Using the 65tThe instructions for setting up the phones were very clear. What's even more amazing was the fact that I normally use hearing aids and I removed them to test the headphones and I heard the instructions very clearly! The headphones fit perfectly and it cut out the outside notice very well. There are three different sized pairs of silicon ear tips to ensure that the ear buds fit.Next tried listening to some songs from one of my favourite groups and was surprised at the clarity and balance considering that I was listening without my hearing aids definitely surprised me.The left earbud volume up and down button allows the tracks to go forward or backward by keeping the button pressed till you hear the beep.Elite 65t has a standard five hours of listening time and another ten hours when using the charging case. In addition when the headphones are flat you can get one and half hours of use by leaving in the charging case for 15 minutes. The LED's in the carry case also indicates how much charge is left.Downloaded the Jabra Sound+ App from the Playstore. Immediately the headphones connected to the app and updated the software and then there was a update to the headphones and instructed me to slot the headphones to the case. The app allowed the settings to the headphones to be changed - three listening settings Commute, Focus and Active, with hear through slider on allowed external sounds to filter through. Each mode has it's own EQ allowing changing of treble or bass. For those who tried using the headphones while running have said how good it is both in terms of the build and the sound quality.Using as a hearing aidCame across an app on Playstore called Bluetooth Ear. Loaded it to my smartphone and I can use the Jabra-elite-65t as a hearing aid! The only problem is that there is an echo. Apart from that it allows me to listen to conversations better than my hearing aid!PRO'sGood connectionVery Impressive and detailed audio appGood fitSweat-proofNEGATIVESAccelerometer may play upCould be better connection to AlexaFairly largeCan be uncomfortable after using for a long timeRead full review...

I was given this product to review as part of the Jabra Reviewing Program. I'll be honest, I'm stunned at how good the Elite 65t's are. I was expecting constant drop-outs, mediocre battery life and poor sound quality but I genuinely can't fault anything about them, except maybe the lacklustre design (for some). Speaking of which then, lets start at design. I personally like them. They are very well built and have a clean, almost professional look and aren't too flashy. The charging case is well made, however I'll admit to it taking me a little while to open it properly without feeling like I was going to break something due to it being very smooth and therefore slippy. Connecting to my devices was a breeze, and everything from there just fell into place. I was straight into listening to music at work when a colleague came over. I took an earpiece out to speak to them and bang, the music paused. I was confused and thought I'd broken them for a second. Put the earphone back in and music resumed. Auto-pause? Awesome! Sound quality is great for me. I'm not one for big chunky bass, preferring a cleaner, treble-heavy sound which these more than delivered. Likewise, call quality came as a surprise. I have a pair of ANC headphones made by a reputable competitor to Jabra and, although they are mostly incredible, call quality is awful. I guess I expected these to be the same, however I could hear the caller at the other end of the phone very clearly, and vice versa. The controls on either earbud are largely very easy to work, with my only trouble being changing the volume on the left earbud which can be a bit finicky. Once I was done with my initial session I stuck the earphones back in the case and clicked it shut, with a reassuring green light showing me the case had started to charge them. It was after this point that another brilliant feature caught me by surprise. Taking the earphones out some time later, I stuck them in my ear and went to press the play button but my music started auto-playing again! Auto-connect and play? Another mighty tick in the box for Jabra. For their current RRP I can't recommend these earphones highly enough, even for the more discerning audiophile who wants to dip their toe into the wireless pool! Thumbs up from me.Read full review...

After the initial mix up my replacement headphones arrived a week later and I was super excited to try them out.Upon opening them I was very impressed with how they looked, in fact they looked much nicer in person. I was a little surprised by the size of them, they were actually smaller than I thought they would be, but once they are in they are actually the perfect size. The Jabra Elite Active 65t were super easy to set up and took only a couple of minutes. The instructions were super easy to follow.I like how you are able to customise the sound to the ear buds to suit your needs. I personally don’t like the noise cancellation feature as I can hear a faint white noise sort of sound. But when I’ve turned this feature off I feel the sound quality is actually much better. The connection is pretty impressive. I was able to connect my Jabra Elite Active 65t to my phone and move around most of the ground floor of my house without losing connection to the phone while the phone was sat on my bed. This is so useful for me as sometimes I struggle to hold my phone. The ultimate test was for me was to see if these would actually stay in my ears while driving over bumpy surfaces in my wheelchair and I was very impressed these actually stayed in most of my journery. They did fall out once but that was when I first put them in as I hadn’t moved all my hair out of the way so the left ear bud wasn’t sitting snuggley in my ear but that was easily fixed. The only problem I have encountered so far is that when I turn off the headphones the left ear piece keeps losing connection with the right one, but after a little research and a bit of playing around I can now easily reconnect them and carry on using them.I’m also really impressed with the way you can control the noise cancellation. This came in very handy while at the hospital. Personally, I have turned off the noise cancellation feature as I have noticed that I can hear a white noise sort of sound when it’s on and when I turned the feature off the sound was much clearer. These charge super-fast, and the battery life is also very impressive. They have lasted me the entire day, without having to put them in the charging/carrier pod.Read full review...

First impressions when taking delivery of these was very good. The product was packaged very well and the earbuds and case are actually lighter than the packaging! The earbuds and charging case are made entirely out of plastic but the headphones still manage to feel like a premium product. There is an app which can be downloaded where you can choose and custom sound settings. The earbuds automatically turn on when removed from the case, which not all truly wireless earbuds do. The earbuds also turn themselves off when placed back in the charging case - a huge benefit for folks who forget to turn off electronics when they're done using them. The headphones connected to our phone immediately and rarely stuttered. You can use one earbud at a time, though note that the right earbud acts as the master so use it when you want to take calls with a single earbud. And when you’re ready to go back to a stereo listening experience, taking the left earbud out of the charging case connects the two immediately. In terms of battery life, the Jabra Elite 65t are rated to last 5 hours on a charge but I managed to exceed 5 hours a few times when listening to music at low to medium volume. This was not what I wanted when listening through these at my workplace because they didn't last a full shift for me before putting them back in the case to charge. The charging case is good for an additional two charges to give a combined 15 hours of listening. Overall the jabra elite 65t,in my opinion, are one of the best truly wireless headphones you can buy today. The price for these are more justified by better sound quality, noise isolation and adjustable ambient noise when you want it. I would recommend these to anyone looking for quality and sound.Read full review...

The headphones were well packaged when they arrived and I was really pleased that both the headphones and the case were fully charged, so I could try them straightaway. The case works well and although I had a little trouble opening it at first I got used to it quickly. It's nice and small so easy to fit in your bag or pocket. The headphones fit really well in my ears, and I have had difficulties in the past due to a tragus piercing getting in the way, so I was really pleased to find buds that fit well. The quality is really great too and whilst on the phone I have been told that you can hear me well and clearly with no issues. My first negative point would be that I don't need the earbuds todo so many things via the buttons - I find that it just makes it more difficult to get it to do what, which is to turn the headphones on and off, and play/pause/answer calls really. Perhaps others would find the different options more helpful. I also haven't enjoyed the hear-through feature so far as it doesn't sound authentic and is just distracting. However I am going to try it again in a busier area when back to work and normal life! Overall I have really enjoyed using these headphones and definitely feel they are worth the purchase.Read full review...

This is my first pair of wireless headphones and in summary I was impressed by the experience. Positives - the fit. I have tiny ears and yet they sat snugly and didn’t fall out. The only issue was with too much of the button pressing they moved about. The sound was great for music, which you can equalise to your tastes in the app. The call sound wasn’t as good but still acceptable for conversations and the microphone picked up my voice without problems. The charging case and battery life were good too, no complaints. Changing the volume up and down worked really well and I liked the announcement of who was calling me. Negatives - no manual in the box so I had to find one online which was essential to work out what buttons to press.Connecting to Siri was tricky, the long button press often resulted in the headphones disconnecting from Bluetooth rather than activating the assistant. They are quite bulky but that is probably why they stay in place. The price - they seemed expensive online compared to others but I haven’t tried any more types so cannot directly compare. Overall I would be pleased if someone gave me these as a present or if they were on sale and I will happily keep using them now I have them.Read full review...

Since I received these ear phones my world of sound has been transformed. I've previously owned several different brands and would not normally spend this amount on them, big mistake, this quality is worth every penny. The sound clarity just continues to amaze every time whether it's listening to music or making calls. The fit is very comfortable for long periods with great ability to exclude external machine noise while in a production environment but with a quick double press of the right bud you are able to hear colleague’s speech easily. The app is very straight forward to customize to your own preference or to use presets for different music types. You will be amazed at the level of base achieved and also mid and higher frequencies are faultless. The general feel of quality is evident in the product and the packaging. My only thought is that the product would be better if it included an extra pair of each size of ear gels and that they came in packaging more robust and reseal able in the longer term. The Google assistant voice control seems promising but I'm still learning this. Overall these ear buds are absolutely great. I now urgently need to buy my partner a pair so I can enjoy mine more often.Read full review...

I was always hesitant about getting airpod style headphones as I thought they'd be loose and would easily fall out but when this campaign came up, I thought I'd give them a go and have been really pleasantly surprised. It's really liberating not being caught up in a bunch of wires and I thought it would be a pain having to recharge but the charging case has been great. The sound quality is excellent and I really like being able to control aspects of my phone through the headphones themselves and I love the fact that if you take one of your headphones out, it automatically stops your music and when you put it back in, it restarts. The design is brilliant (I got the copper one)and they were easy to setup through the app. The only improvement for me would be the case can be really hard to open sometimes, which risk the headphones going everywhere it opens. Really pleased with this purchase though!

Nice to see that the Elite 65t headphones comes with its own carry case/ charging case. It was a bit of struggle at first to open the case but after a couple of times this does get easier. To get the most out of these headphones you need to install the Jabra app, which then will give you full access to the equlizer and the ability to allows the hearthrough (which allows you to hear outside noise via teh headphones). The app also has smoe nice Soundscapes if you did not want music and was just after some relaxing noises. The battery is very good on them had no issues reaching well over 4 hours play time and with the charging case you can easily pop your headphones back in the case for a charge.I have tried many wireless headsets and currently these are one of the best. As the 65t are not ture noise cancelling I did not have any issue with external noises.Read full review...

I have the JABRA 65T They came well packaged and I have been impressed from the opening of the box. The earphones look impressive and well built. The charging case is nicely cushioned and the earphones fit in snugly.in the case After setting up the sound on the app, which is easy to use, I tried them with a few tracks of music. The bass is nice and rich without being overpowering. Had a go at listening to some speech. They are nice a clear. I had a bit of a problem getting left earpiece to stay in, have a funny ears, but after a bit of careful positioning the fit was nice and snug. The only negative I have is that there appears to be a slight hiss in the right ear. I'm not sure if this is a fault or normal.Read less

These are a good quality ear bud. They are lightweight so are comfortable in your ear. As long as you don't shake your head too much they stay in very well. The sound quality is brilliant and with the app on your phone you can change the sounds to suit your pitch. The sound reduction is great and with a touch of the button on the bud you can stop and start, fast forward music and answer calls. You can remove one bud out if your ear and it stops what ever you're listening to. They hold their charge for several hours and come in a handy wee case that can recharge the buds twice before it needs charging. Good quality and good sound in a nice style.

21.8.2019

The headphones are exceptional. They have a plethora of functions which adds to the situations in which they can be used. They stay in when running, and the sound quality is amazing. My favourite feature is that the headphones will automatically pause when you take one out of your ear. Which means you can easily take one out to hear what someone is saying, without having to fumble around with volume or try to find the pause button. The charging case makes it easy to extend the battery life and have a full, if not two days' worth of music.

I’ve had these for about 6 weeks now and I’m really impressed. They’re lightweight and come with a few different buds so they fit lots of ear sizes. They’ve never called out even when running! It takes a little getting used to for running I guess as I felt conscious they may fall out but they haven’t. Really good battery lofe too - lasting a whole week of commuting! Only down side is when taking calls. If there is any wind the person on the other end struggles to hear you! Other than though, I can’t fault them!
