These Jabras are an in-ear headset. With lots of positives...Presentation is very good. The box makes you feel straight away - you bought quality. And you got simplicity at the same time. The set comes with everything you need. Earbuds, charging case, ear gels (3 sizes) and a USB-C to USB-A charging cable. All really good quality. The case is simple but elegant. What I like is they made it in matte black finish. Looks nice and stays nice for longer! There's the company logo on the front and a small single status LED at the back. A magnet holds the case closed. Inside you have 2 spaces, each profiled for correct earbud. The magnet for them is stronger and will pull the earbud into the right position - pretty standard but nice. The only lights inside are the lights on each earbud. They will inform you about the battery state of the bud, every time you open the lid. As an old fan of 'as little Christmas lights on your head as possible' - I love it. Saves battery too. And battery life of the case is long. Definitely impressive. The earbuds - they're similar like the base - simplicity in looks and functions. The right earbud is the primary one - this is the one you take out 1st. You can use it on its own as bluetooth set or in tandem with left earbud for both conversations and music. They pair with each other automatically when you take left earbud out of the case. If you take any out of your ear, the music will stop. They only have a small LED each which only light up when you switch them on/off or take out of the case. Nice! The battery life of the earbuds is decent but you won't notice as you'll end up re-charging them in the case.Fitting - that's one of my issues. And it's a personal one. I'm not a fan of in-ear sets. And these go deep in your ear. I had issues at the start to find the right position, had to put them on in front of the mirror. Got used to do it without after a while. If you don't like sticking things deep in your ear, you'll have issues with them in the beginning. If you don't put them in correctly - you won't enjoy quality sound and they will look very odd sticking out of your ears. The sound - it is really good. 1st the negative though. As mentioned - they go deep in your ear. This makes the music sound somewhere inside your head. Might be ok once you're used to it but I really had a tough time adjusting. I prefer the sound of on-ear or even over-ear sets.Apart from that they have a nice, vibrant sound, with lots of decent bass. On one condition - they have to go deep in.You can increase volume on your device as well as further on the headset - it can get really loud! Conversation wise you will of course hear someone perfectly and they will tell you that you sound very crisp, clear and natural. A huge plus!Noise cancellation - that one is obviously great. Because you stick it so deep in! But seriously it cancels the noise really well. The problem is when you need to talk to someone, they're hard to hear as well! And it's not as easy to take the earbuds out...Luckily they came up with a solution called HearThrough. You enable it by pressing left button once be it in idle or listening to music. Both microphones in the buds then start acting as sound amplifiers. All you have to deal with is people's surprised looks they give you thinkng how rude you can't be bothered to stop listening to music when talking to them.Connectivity - it's good and bad. You do get interference, mostly from other sources. I get them in same places exactly when I walk to work. It could be though that my mobile's bluetooth is a bit old. I haven't noticed any interference from gym machinery like some other reviewers have. I think only once the connection between the buds dropped, and only for a split second. They work perfectly at home and have a very decent range.Worth mentioning also that they are water/dust proof IP55 - dust resistant and can resist a sustained, low pressure water jet spray.Controls - they're very decent. Each earbud has a button. It covers almost the whole side of it so in the beginning I used to press them accidentally every time I would put them on. Buttons are very functional. You can pretty much control most of functions without the use of the app. Takes a moment to learn but is quite intuitive. The app - is called Jabra Sound+. It looks quite good although hasn't got that much in. You can set up HearThrough intensity and Sidetone (enables you to hear your own voice better when you talk to someone), change between different sound settings depending on where you are (called Moments), or set up the sound using equalizer. Now there is a dark side to this app. Unless you have a device with Android 7.0 up (or equivalent in Apple system), you won't even find the app in the store. Pretty uncool as I can't really see any feature that would be incompatible with earlier system versions. I asked Jabra's customer service about it and they couldn't help me. The app has got a detailed manual of the device including its controls. It also lets you register for 2 years of warranty. But you can't access that on an 'older' device. I ended up installing it on my tablet which I don't use for music but at least I could see the app, set things up and register.Apart from above the set supports a Voice Assistant (Google, Alexa and Siri). I wasn't able to really test functionality as my mobile has an old system. So is it worth all the money you have to pay for it? Jabra is quality - no doubt about it. If you're looking for a set which has great sound and a few extra features, well perhaps it's worth investing. It took me a moment to get used to it but I'm actually quite happy to have it now.

When it comes to wireless earbuds, I am looking for a few things; ease of synching (the earbuds to themselves, and to various devices), comfort (ease of fit and how well the earbuds stay in), a great mic, (i,e, people can hear me well) a good battery life and a vibrant sound for listening to music - anything else on top is a bonus.First, synching was so easy (and thumbs up to Jabra for shipping them with a full charge) - I didn't even have to use the manual. I was synched to my phone in seconds of opening the box without a problem. Also, the Jabra allows you to synch to two sources at once - great great great. However, it loses some points because there are times where the earphones just won't connect to my zoom calls. It says they are connected but no audio comes through. I have to restart zoom and the headphones which I can't do in the middle of a call. I see similar behaviour on my phone when trying to play music. This happens mostly when it is synched to more than one source at once - please note I am not activelty using the other device when this happens, neither is audio being routed there. I'd giving synching 7/10Comfort is 10/10 for me - I just don't want to take them out of my ears - shhh please stop talking to me as I have my earbuds in :). I have not tried them during a full exercise yet, but they fit snug and comfortably that I am confident they will not be falling out during a jump rope exercise (probably the best test for fit).Mic - Jabra have some magic 5 mic technology that ensures your voice is picked up well. I am softly spoken so mics are an issue for me but I have not yet had one person complain that they cannot hear me - so I am pleased. Also pleased that it pics up a lot of me and not my background. The only slight critique is probably more one about the design of noise cancelling earbuds than anything else, and that is that when you have these things in you tend to speak loud because everything is blocked out, but then they don't work well if I whisper or speak softly. 9/10Battery life, i am undecided about the 7 hours, but I can say that I have confidently sat on the phone for most of the day and not had to recharge the battery in most instances. There is one day that was an exception to this , so I am still trying to test wether that was a blip or something to watch. The case is so slick so small, that you do not feel inconveniced by carrying it round and there's an almost satisfying feeling of putting the earbuds into the case as they are sucked in by the magnetic points. I would happily give battery life a 9/10 especially with the ease of gaining more juice very quickly via the case.Sound - ahh they sound good. It is not my usual taste in sound - I own a very good pair of reference IEM's which are so good at rendering the detail and are therfore my go to for great sound. With the Jabra's the isolation you get does a great job of creating a good foundation for building a great sound pallate. Tlhe Jabra's are more bass heavy but not muddy, just punchy. Vocals come through with a great deal of detail. I've listened to some great acoustic pieces with vocals and piano and the details are all there. The Jabra's are no reference IEM's but I'd be happy to grab these and listen to them in most instances and leave my IEM's for the more professional environments. If you do not like the default sound there are routes to change these too, which brings me the next things.Other things on top - the hear through technology is impressive and available through just one touch of the left ear bud. Hear through allows you to hear your surroundings, which is useful when you have earbuds like this that block out most noise from the outside world. I have found myself using it so much to breifly hear what someone is saying to me and then return to normal isolation mode. Brilliant 9/10.The lady in my head - actually says very useful things this time. muted, unmuted, hearthrough on, heathrough off, device disconnected two devies, connected. I've not liked most of the talking bluetooth devices, but this one feels like it helps and really does assist. Then there is the app - as soon as I downloaded the app and synched to my phone it guided me to a firmware upgrade which was so easy to do. Then you can configure so many aspects of the headphones (EQ, hearthrough, how loud you hear your voice on calls, which device gets priority during a call,As you can tell,. there is a lot I like about these headphones, they are well built and don't do anything in half measures. From the app to the packaging box to the case and headphones themselves everything is so well done and well built. The synching problems are not great, but I have had another pair of bluetooth headphones that have done way worse which I, unfortunately, had to return as it was unmangeable. The sound was not as good on those either neither was the general overall audio experience and quality. If you can afford these, I'd go for them. You will only end up throwing away or returning those headphones that are about £30 or £40 less.

I must confess that I have a bit of a headphone/earphone habit and now have quite a collection of different types. It annoys the Mrs but does mean that I have a lot to compare these to.As befits the price of these and the reputation of this manufacturer, the Jabra 75t earbuds come in very attractive retail packaging. If buying these as a gift for somebody there is no need to worry about the presentation - everything about it will suggest quality and a premium product!Inside the beautiful box you get the earbuds themselves, the charging/carrying case, the world's shortest USB-C cable and some alternative earpieces. The buds already have medium earpieces and the large and small alternatives are inside individual plastic bubbles on a strip of card. Not something I have seen before. Usually the spares are in a little plastic bag.Straight out of the box, the buds are already charged and ready to go. I have been using these when I go for walks, so not for long periods and have not therefore tested the claimed battery life. In normal use they will always be fully charged from the case. You just have to remember to charge that up every now and then. I was surprised when my phone gave me the battery level of the case as well as the earbuds, which did not happen with buds from other brands. It may be because I downloaded the Jabra app. Charging the case up is quick and I was very happy to find a USB-C socket on them instead of the micro USB that some earphones still have. The app has a feature that apparently tunes the earbuds to your specific hearing by playing all sorts of test tones and getting you to click when you can hear them. I don't know if it works because I can't find out if you can switch between normal and tailored settings to compare.I did find that the firmware needed to be updated as soon as I downloaded the app. I was happy about this because it hints that ongoing development and support is not going to be a problem, it also gave me a chance to see how the updates work. With other wireless buds I have you download the update on a PC and then connect the charging box to update through the wire. With these ones, the update was done wirelessly through my phone, although you do have to put them in the case afterwards to finish it off. It was no fuss though and there were instructions on the phone at each point. The earbuds are comfortable to wear and do not ever feel like they are going to fall out. For me, the default rubber earpieces work fine, so no need to use the large or small ones. Pairing works well. At first they were re-connecting to my phone automatically every time, but after a while I had to manually connect them. A small inconvenience that I am used to, possibly because I have so many devices that I pair the phone with at different times. The connection stays over quite a long range, even working with the phone being in the next room, but can have small intermittent drops if the phone is in a trouser pocket because of your body getting in the way of the signal. In my case I had my phone in the right-hand trouser pocket and consistently had a brief signal drop when turning my head to the right - a problem when looking to cross the road! Once I put the phone in my back pocket everything was fine, even though I would have thought that would be even worse. With the phone in a jacket pocket, in the hand or on an arm strap there are no issues. As for the sound quality. It is as good as you would hope for at this price point.Although I mostly listen to podcasts I did try out a range of music and was pleased with how the basslines were clear but not swamping the high-end details.Controls are all through a single button on each ear, using a combination of single click, double click, triple click and long click. It was quick to get the hang of the most commonly used controls - volume up and down and track skipping. A single click on the left ear turns on 'hearthrough' mode, which is potentially useful. It lets some outside noise through by picking it up on the microphones and playing it through the speaker. Its a bit strange and echo-ey but handy when wanting to hear station announcements or whatever. There is a similar feature for using the same method to hear your own voice in phone calls. What else? Voice assistants (Google and Apple) are enabled, but I don;t use them so can't comment on whether it works OK. There is no active noise cancellation, which would have been nice although the isolation is very good at cutting out most noise anyway. There is also no wireless charging, which I probably wouldn't use, but I think you can get a version of the 75t that does have wireless charging if that is important.Overall, I like these enough that I have half a dozen alternatives readily available, but these are the ones I have been choosing when going out. It they kept their connection completely in my trouser pocket I might have gone for five stars, but I'm knocking one off for that, while hoping that a future firmware update might address that.

Jabra have a name more in making quality corporate headsets than high end music earphones. Having used various headsets from jabra for work, and previously having owned Jabra bluetooth handsfree kits, I thought these were an exciting prospect. My view has been that if you want good bass and sound quality you need large over ear headphones - and I’ve never really liked the compromise of the size.So in my eyes, the holy grail of earphones, is completely cordless, tiny, extremely light, with good bass and great sound clarity. Being able to connect to both my phone and my laptop simultaneously would be a bonus, since I switch between listening to music on my phone and watching programs on my laptop. These are completely cordless, tiny, extremely light, so it’s all down to what it delivers in sound quality. The first thing I noticed is that these deliver a lot of bass! In fact I was extremely impressed. In terms of sound clarity it was very good too, though there was a slight hint of tinny-ness in the treble when played at high volume.I tried these compared to, my cheap but trusty £30 nobrand wireless in ear earphones, a pair of Shure SE215, a pair of beats over ear headphones and a quick compare vs air pod prosCompared to my no-brand earphones. These are vastly superior played back to back. In fact definitely will replace these as day to day earphone. Though of course these do cost over 5 times the price, so not a fair comparison.Compared to Shure SE215. These have stronger bass, and clarity of the sound is very good, but I’d say the SE215 just about have the edge. However, these are completely cordless and more portable, so for day to day, I can see the practicality giving it the slight edge since these are much easier to put in than the faff of getting the shures into you ear properly. It'll dependon just how fussy you are about the extra sound quality Vs the practicality benefitsCompared to the Beats, well the Beats have a much warmer sound to them and I’d say the better sound, however these cost substantially more and suffer from being large over ear headphones so less portable.A quick comparison vs air pod pros showed that they were similar in quality for bass and but I found slightly better clarity of sound.Battery life, it claims 7.5 hours between charges. I’ve managed 4 hours without problem which is more than enough for my usage.Other nice features:-When you take out the earphones from one ear, the music playing will pause. There is a HearThrough mode which you can activate in the app which can remove the sound isolation and allow sound to come though. Useful if you’re walking and need to hear your surroundings. You can connect this to two devices at once! This is in my case is extremely useful. Having paired up to laptop after the phone and hearing “two devices connected” was a welcome sign, and sure enough playing music on either would switch the sound over - perfect!ProsVery strong bass for in ear earphonesGood sound quality across the rangeEasy to wear and comfortable with good sound isolationExtremely portableCan connect to two devices at onceGood battery lifeCase is USB-C chargingAlexa supportConsSound can still be ever so slightly tinny at high volumesStill not as good as similarly priced over ear headphones.HearThrough mode can amplify background noise which sounds unnaturalExpensive (£170 at time of review)In summary: These are excellent cordless earphones, very small, light, even the charging case is small. The sound quality is great considering their size, sounding like something much bigger. It can connect to multiple devices. In my opinion, these are pretty much perfect earphones for myself as a regular commuter.Update 9 Feb 2020: I have used these almost daily now as my regular earphones. The hear-through mode has worked well to allow for listening to travel announcements whilst on a train at the touch of a button. The sound quality is definitely good enough, though not as good as the Shures, however the extra convenience of multiple device support, no wires and easy putting on/off more than makes up for that.

These Jabra Elite Active 75t's really do perform very well indeed. The sound quality is superb, they stay firmly in my ear, and they have some great features too. I was concerned to begin with, after seeing the review mentioning dropout, but mine are faultless. I suggest that if your buds drop out whenever a treadmill is turned on, the fault is radio interference from a poorly suppressed machine motor. It would interfere with any nearby device, so the fault is not with Jabra. The solution is to ask your gym to have an electrician fix their machine. My pair hasn't dropped out once.PLUS POINTS* Comfortable & secure in-ear fit* Excellent clarity and dynamic range.* Well balanced bass - has authorityyet avoids any annoying boominess* The charging case is good* Good battery life* Can be use stereo or mono (just the right hand bud)* Compatible with voice assist (I find Google Assistant the best)* HearThrough feature very useful for person-to-person conversations* Great microphones deliver clear & easy telephone conversations* The JabraSound+ app is good - makes customisation easyMINUS POINTS* No active noise cancellation - just passive. As you can see, the list of plus points far outweighs the lack of active noise cancellation. Truth is, the silicone ear gels fit so snugly inside my ear canal that most external noise is blocked anyway. This is why the HearThrough function is so very useful. Instead of having to remove the bud if someone speaks to me I simply need to press the left hand button, and the microphones relay their voice to me, making the buds acoustically transparent. The HearThrough volume can even be adjusted in the app, as can sidetone volume (the volume of your own voice, fed back into your ear to assist you in not shouting needlessly whilst making calls)SINGLE BUD USEThere are times when I want to listen to something, yet remain aware of my surroundings. Yesterday was a perfect example. I was in a hospital waiting room, listening to an audio book to while away the time, but needing to hear instantly if my name was called. Not a problem - I used my buds in mono mode, wearing just the right side.EASE OF USEThe charging case is a brilliant thing, and tops up the charge of your buds whenever they are placed inside. I especially like the auto switching feature that turns the buds on when you remove them from the case and turns them back off again when you put them back. Simple things like that make these buds a joy to use. Each bud has one large multi function button to control them, per the easy to learn instructions.SOUND QUALITYThese are the best sounding wireless buds that I've auditioned, to date. I own some very expensive phones and hifi equipment, so I know what high fidelity sound is. The 75t's are impressive, given their price range and physical size. I found that my 75t's achieved their best sound after a couple of weeks burn-in. The tonal balance is very good, with a crisp and punchy sound output that remains controlled across the frequency range. Too often nowadays I find that earphones have a horrid overblown and distorted bass, but these do not. It's authoritative and satisfying without going overboard. Volume goes as high as you'd want, without damaging your ear drums. I find I can happily listen to these buds for long periods without getting a headache - a common complaint with cheaper phones that over-do the high end treble.CONCLUSIONWith their high IP57 rating and secure fit, these buds are superb for using at the gym, or whilst exercising. They're also just as good whilst commuting or relaxing in the garden, of course. My pair lives in my jacket pocket, and goes out whenever I do. Open the box, pop them in your ear, and you're in another world. No faff, just great sound. That's the overall impression that these earbuds give me. I like them a lot.If this has been useful I'd be hugely grateful if you could let me know, by hitting the button below. Many thanks :-)

SummaryAmazingly good all-rounder truly wireless earbuds. Smart charging case (USB-C), lightweight buds, good battery life, great sound and comfortable. The completely package – and this is coming from a Cambridge Audio Melonamia 1 (CAM1) owner.Full ReviewLet’s start from the beginning here. I purchased these as I found the CAM1’s uncomfortable when running or being active (aside from that, they are superb). I had tried the Jabra Elite 65t earbuds last year and was terribly disappointed so was a little apprehensive about spending so much on the follow-ups. Similar to the 65t, the packaging of the 75t’s is premium, they are really nicely presented and definitely give off the “premium” feel.First thing that greets you option opening is the cutout displaying the buds themselves – petit. Revealing the next layer, you meet the charging case – also small in size. You’ll also find a small compartment which contains the charging cables, instructions and additional buds (small and large, medium are pre-fitted).In the background, you’ll also need to download the Jabra Sound+ app to your android/iphone. Really quick and easy, no signup required. After I unpacked everything it was time to connect the buds to my phone; this was painless and follows the usual process. After connecting you’ll also be prompted my the app to do an update to the latest firmware. This was again quick and relatively painless; took about 15 minutes in total to do. Gave the case a charge whilst doing this as well to ensure it was at 100% capacity. All good, time to move on.Fired up Spotify to give them a test drive. Felt like being punched in the ear – these are VERY bass heavy and not in a good way! Back to the Sound+ App to configure the profile. Obviously, bass needs to be reduced – filled with a few other bits too and ended up with the above custom profile which I really like. Leaves the sound energetic, some bass, naturally balanced with nothing too overpowering. 100% recommend trying the profile as it completely changed the buds sound. Back to Spotify and the improvement was incredible! Easily rivaling (in my opinion anyway) the CAM1s. Next issue I discovered was that when I went for a run, the buds had a tendency to feel loose and need adjusting every so often. There’s a tutorial online for “finding the best fit” but I found it kind of useless. I insert them with a little twist, and push the bottom into my ear slightly further too. Note that I opted for the SMALL buds. This has resulted in a really comfortable feel, not painful at all although slightly deeper in my ear cancel than normal. I found that it also helps support the buds and the fit is really secure now. Went for another run and any/all issues have been ironed out.Additional comments/FeedbackBattery life isn’t industry leading but it’s far from the worst available; in all honestly it’s somewhere in between the best and average. No complaints from me though, with roughly 7 hours on a single charge it’s more than sufficient. The case allows for a few cycles too so good job there. One feature I honestly love is the passthrough mode; using the mics; it feeds the outside noise into the buds themselves allowing you to hear ambient noise and conversations. This can easily be activated either through the app or a single click of the left bud when using. Talking about the buds; unfortunately the left bud acts as a slave to the right – what does this mean you might ask? You can’t use the left bud by itself (but can use the right without the left), you may also experience a delay in connecting if you take out the left bud before the right as the right manages the connection to the phone. When using both buds, removing one from your ear will auto music the music which I think is a great little feature too.

Jabra Elite Active 75t True Wireless Bluetooth Sports EarbudsI have tried many various brands of earbuds over the past year, with some being better than others. I was keen to give these Jabra Elite Active 75t earbuds a try as they are quite expensive to buy. I must admit that I was a little cautious after reading some of the less favourable reviews on Amazon.First impressions were good as these are supplied in a tough, quality box with a pull-out compartment. I slid out the compartment to find everything neatly housed inside, these are well protected. You are supplied with a small charging case, a pair of earbuds, USB charging cable, pack of different sized ear seals and a fold out instruction card. The earbuds appear to be well made, they look robust and expensive, which one would expect for earbuds costing almost £185. The charging case is not only a holder for the earbuds, it's also a power-bank that holds enough power to keep the earbuds working for up to 28 hours. Just pop the earbuds into the charging case and it will recharge them. Once charged the earbuds should work for up to 7.5 hours. Just 15 minutes in the case will provide 1 hours use. What I particularly like is that when the earbuds are placed in the case, they snap tightly in place due to strong magnetism. In Use:Although the earbuds are a little larger than others that I have tried, these have to be amongst the most comfortable to wear. Once placed into the ear they remain securely in place. I found even with strenuous exercise these remain in place, the seals seem to grip the ear canal. Each earbud has a single button that is used to control various functions by way of a single, double, treble or extended press of each button. What was particularly appreciated was the inclusion of a glossy card with diagrams showing how to use the earbuds. These instructions are replicated within the available app. These work best if the 'Jabra Sound+' App is installed on your device. Pairing was simple, the Jabra earbuds popped up immediately when my bluetooth searched for them. The app has many features, but for me the most useful was that the earbuds can be customised for each individuals unique hearing. This is obtained by listening to a series of faint sounds, some you can hear, others you can't.What do these sound like?.. Well, I have to be honest, these blew me away, I certainly was not disappointed. I play, record and mix my own music. I don't like headphones that colour the sound, or try to improve it (my pet hate is bass boost). These earbuds, I'm pleased to say reproduce the sound in a very crisp clear and natural way, which for me is the sign of a good pair of headphones. I can hear every detail of the music, every little nuance that should be there, frequencies that are often lost with some headphones. There is a good natural bass that can be heard sitting in the music, it's not overpowering neither does it make the music sound muddy. The bass can be identified as a separate instrument which is how I like the sound through headphones to be.Bluetooth range is good, I can be a fair distance from my phone without the sound dropping out. The quality is impressive, I have experienced no dropouts or sound interruptions at all with these.Yes, these are a little pricey, but in my opinion, they are worth every penny. Conclusion: Fabulous earbuds that appear to be well made, have a long battery life, are comfortable to wear and above all - Sound Great!Highly Recommended!CONTENTS:1 x Rechargeable Ear Buds (Pair)1 x Charging Case1 x Pack Ear Seals1 x USB Charging Cable1 x Instruction ChartIf you have found my review useful, I would be grateful if you would consider clicking the helpful button below, thank you.

I’ve got these headphones for over two months now and my review is based on almost daily usage. I’ve also decided to structure the review in terms of pros and cons for easier digestion by the reader:FactsYou get the Jabra 75t elite headphones (grey blue), a carrying and charging case (blue), a usb c to usb cable and some ear gels to change into depending on the size of your inner ear and the level of comfort and fit you’re after.Pros:1) the headphones are light and have little magnets that allows them to stay together so you don’t lose them;2) the carrying/charging case is small, very light and has the necessary light to show you when it’s charging the headphones, when it needs to be plugged in,etc;3) the headphones have noise cancellation as an option. Once worn, you can turn the noise cancellation on or off by pressing the left headphone once and there will be a voice prompt conforming it’s on or off respectively; does it work? YES, I found that with the noise cancellation on, I could work without being distracted in a loud office and it cancelled out 95% of the noise in the gym (the squeak from the oldish cross-trainer could still be faintly heard);4) the Bluetooth connection is stable and it rarely drops; the headphones have a handy feature that when one is removed, the other one stops working automatically until you actively turn the single one on (more of this later in the cons too); so, for example, if one is out of juice, the other can still be used independently;5) the accompanying app (Jabra+) is great; once set up, which is super easy to do, and the headphones are out of the carrying case and turned on, you can monitor the charge of each headphone separately and that of the charging case, so you can start charging either; you can also set sound profiles and much more;6) the quality of the sound is very good; I’ve listened to music, radio, I’ve streamed movies and I’ve even made calls on them; all of them were superb;7) the working time for the headphones is superb; I think they can easily go for around 8 hours continuous use; I think my longest was something like 6 continuous hours and they still had juice left!8) the headphones do stay on; if one chooses the right size and adjusts the ear gels, then they do stay on; I’ve been wearing them on the cross-trainer and I had no problem whatsoever;Cons:1) more recently, the left headphone stopped charging; I was really baffled because I put it in the case correctly (or so I thought) and after showing me that it was charging, I took them both out after an hour or so to find out through the app and when wearing them that the left headphone was not charged! Upon experimenting, I’ve found that the headphones are very sensitive to the positioning in the case; you have to make very sure they are touching the right parts of the case (you actually get an intermittent light signal when each does) for each headphone to start charging; I thought I had done that, but it worked out that I had not; it is now working fully, but for a couple of days I was really frustrated and felt like writing to the company; I am monitoring this situation, but I’m happy to report that it is working now;2) (this has only happened once) when too sweaty, I found once that the sweat managed to get into the left headphone and had a little scrambled sound come from it; I stopped using them and let both of them dry; it was on after that and I have never had that again, but I’m guessing they are sensitive to water and sweat, so please take of them! All in all, I like them and have been using them quite a lot. I feel they have replaced all my other headphones and the feeling of freedom from wires etc you get from them is certainly worth the price!

I must have 7 or 8 pairs of BT headphones now, along with countless other wired sets, so it is safe to say I am a bit of a headphone nut.The Jabra Elite 75t seems to have been ruffling a few feathers in the "airpods" & "galaxy buds" space as a true contender to the fashionable headsets from Apple , Samsung and others. These headphones are great and have a fantastic sound, simple to use controls and very well built....however they are not perfect.Instead of focusing on the good, of which there is a lot and is in other reviews, I am going to focus on the not so good first and then just touch on a few of the nice little touches I do like. Be aware these are subjective cons and aren't a deal breaker ,but they do exist.1) Connection - These connect almost instantly to my S10+ via Bluetooth which is great, just like my Galaxy buds....however it takes a good 60 seconds once connected for the app to find the buds and show up the customisation options. I can play music, control my phone etc through the headphones within seconds but the app just fails to find them and often results in me force closing the app for it to work2) Bass - For me they are too bass heavy. I love bass, truly I do, but it can overwhelming on these as default. You really need to use the app to tune the sound and reduce the low end of this to be balanced. Not a huge con because I would rather have too much bass as standard and reduce it, than not enough and push it outside of its range.3) Software update - As with most new tech, I needed a software update out of the box. No problem, nice simple clear instructions and away we go. " Can take up to 15 minutes" the software says. Over an hour later and the update has not completed and the light is still showing purple which indicates it is ongoing. The app says "DO NOT DISCONNECT DURING UPDATE" , but I was forced to do this as they got stuck. Not a great start when I hadn't even listened to them yet, it started things on a bad note!4) Charging -This is my biggest issue with these buds and would probably stop me purchasing these if I was looking to buy a set of new headphones. The case charges the buds and has USB C, which is GREAT! in 2020 , everything should have USB C now but sadly not everything does. However these do not have wireless charging! It sounds daft but I charge only via wireless really (unless I am caught short in the car or whatever) so I have a large charging pad for my phone and headphones. These cannot be used on that. My Galaxy buds charge great, some of the cheaper "budget" brand wireless headphones have wireless charging, but the Jabra do not. A shade under £200 and no wireless charging, poor effortNow for some good1) Sound quality is great, when you adjust it to suit you. Good noise isolation but no active noise cancellation. Again in this price point I would expect ANC.2) Battery life is great3) USB C4) Neat app when it works with lost of customisation. You also get a little widget to change the "modes" on your drop down on android to adjust for train, office, outside etc. Very handy5) Clear instructions and simple controls on the buds themselves6) Nice and small, discreet in the ears and even in the case they fit in a pocketAll in all a great sounding set of headphones with good app support (mostly) and mostly up to date features. Some very frustrating quirks and one or two large things missing such as ANC and wireless charging. I received these free as part of the Amazon Vine program, but if I had to purchase these myself, it would be a tough sell against some of the others out there with a richer feature list. That being said, if you don't need wireless charging or ANC, they are a great sounding set of headphones.

True wireless earbuds are the next big thing in portable audio technology. The nascent new tech is now a few years into it’s life and already there’s been great improvements upon the first emerging products. Bluetooth tech now at v5.0 means solid audio connections and better designs and battery tech is producing earbuds with much longer lives.Having owned a set of Samsung Galaxy Buds and RHA TrueConnect true wireless earbuds, I had some gripes with both earbuds that I was intrigued to see whether the Elite 75t’s would sort. The Galaxy Buds, whilst very comfortable and locked in my ear solidly, had fiddly touch pads as opposed to physical buttons which I found didn’t do what I wanted all the time, and sound quality wasn’t the greatest. The RHAs solved this with much more impressive sound and tactile physical buttons, however didn’t fit as nicely in my ears, and had a bit less battery life than I’d have liked (I sometimes ran them down over a morning of listening). On first impression, I was worried that the Elite 75ts weren’t going to stay in my ears like the Galaxy Buds, as they lacked the locking “fin” that the Galaxy Buds have. However they do still have a “twist” method of insertion in the ears, staying in place (as far as I gather) with just very good moulding of the body of the headphone into the concha. They stayed in much better than the RHAs anyway, which rely on the simple friction of the ear tip itself in your ear canal. I did find them to sometimes require a little “relocking” during gym sessions where the Galaxy Buds wouldn’t have moved an inch. The Jabras also sound superb. I was amazed that the tiny device could produce the soundscape that they do. They are a little bass heavy, but this can be adjusted in the Jabra Sound+ app, which allows you a decent equaliser to tinker to your preference of bass, mids and trebles. The app also allows you to listen to various soundscapes such as the sound of ocean waves, rain on a window or background crowd noise. This is a really cool little feature that I found myself putting on when commuting or wishing to block out distractions at work, but when I didn’t necessarily want music on.Another great feature of the Jabras not found on my previous earbuds, was the ability to pass through ambient sound into the earbuds over the top of whatever you are listening to, allowing you to hear more of your surroundings. I found myself doing this when crossing roads, or in the office when I should also listen for people calling my name, and can easily be activated with a touch of the left earbud - super convenient feature. The earbuds do not do active noise cancellation like the Sony WF1000XM3s, but the isolation from external noise has been great - tested on a noisy bus commute every day and even just with a podcast, I am not put off by the background noise.Battery life on the Jabras is also the best I’ve come across on any wireless buds so far - I think I’ve only charged the case once with a week of fairly heavy use. Jabra claims 7.5 hours with the buds themselves and another 28 hours in the case, and I believe that. I do wish that the case was wireless like the Galaxy Buds, but it’s a small inconvenience when requiring to charge so infrequently anyway. The case itself is very compact, easily popped into any pocket you own, even the little coin pocket on your jeans.Overall, the Jabra Elite 75t true wireless earbuds are excellent in their price point, and a very decent alternative to the others in the market, particularly Samsung’s latest Galaxy Buds+. The pass-through audio, fantastic battery life and excellent sound quality are particular standouts, and continue Jabra’s reputation as a solid headphone choice.

Jabra earbudsThey come in a very nicely packaged box inside which you’ll find the earbuds, charging case, and a little box with 2 more sets of ear pieces to cover most ear sizes but maybe just not mine :(. You also get the shortest charging lead I’ve now got in my expansive collection! The initial charging only took about a half hour and you get a nice visual indication on the case with a light that turns green & then off when fully charged. They have no markings on them so once you remove them from the case you’ve no way of knowing which is left or right without putting them back in the case again. They come with a set of default earbud covers as most do, so I started with those since they appeared quite small in size.I’ve quite tiny ear canals so often struggle with getting the right sized ones. But the bigger problem for me arose when I decided to try the smaller ones. With my rather arthritic hands, for the life of me, no matter how hard I pulled I couldn’t get the original ones removed. I didn’t want to risk tearing them by being too heavy handed, so have given up on the option until I get someone else to try. The next problem was in handling the earbuds themselves as they’re short & stubby so difficult to grip when putting them in your ears and thus I found myself endlessly pressing the selection button while doing so and hearing the "Hear through ON" or "Hear through OFF" or other various tones. But whether it’s a case that the default ear covers are too large, I’m unsure, but certainly I’d no mission of moving around much without one or the other dropping out easily, sometimes without me doing more than turning my head. And then I discovered the strange vagary of these earbuds – if the left falls out the right stops working! Weird. And somewhat frustrating too if you were in the middle of listening to something important and wouldn’t care if it went to mono – better that than nothing!! Thankfully that can be changed in the app settings.Sound quality is adequate – in comparison to my other much (!!) cheaper Soundcore pair I didn’t find a lot of difference – but the bigger problem by far was that the sound would come & go regardless of whether I watched a program or listened to music on the computer, so I’m unsure whether that might be a particular problem related to computers over smartphones. It often sounded like a bad Freeview channel!!??Like most, they come with their own app – Sound+ so I fired that up on my phone to see if I had any better luck with it but ran into issues with that too. It took forever for my phone to find the earbuds after I’d already had them connected on the PC. So I’d disconnected them from that , tried again on the phone but despite them showing up as connected on Bluetooth the app flatly refused to find them until I rebooted the phone & put the earbuds back in their case for a few seconds. Must have taken a good 15-20 mins fiddling to get them to work. (And no – I’m not tech naïve plus I’ve tested plenty of other Bluetooth items previously without an ounce of this hassle!). At any rate, once I did finally get the app going it was apparent at least some of the high cost must have been ploughed into it, as it helped me get a better experience in general. But these earbuds are IP57 rated which means you can happily swim with them, so wearing in the shower isn’t an issue which will appeal to some no doubt. But in comparison to the Soundcore set I really struggle to see where the money lies with these, as the former have almost identical features aside from the app ones, and I’ve had no problems using them in any respect. So these wouldn’t be my first recommendation sadly.

This is my second pair of Jabra Elite Actives, as previous I owned the 65t's and besides having a few flaws, overall they were superb. So let's see what difference less than 12 months makes in design and quality...Right onto the Jabra Active 75t's...these are a really tidy set of ear buds, they come packaged in a really professional looking box (as you'd expect from such a high end company) and you are supplied with everything you need.Upon opening you get a nice charge case (improved from last year, lighter, stands up and has magnets to hold buds in place), a USB C charger (better connection than last years micro USB), the ear buds and two more sizes to fit various ear holes. They do look very smart, black / copper matt finishing and they are a decent weight (but lighter than the predessor), so you want to get the right size bud fit so they don't fall out.Firstly you'll need to install the Jabra Sound+ app on your phone, not essential, but this will give you the full experience (and firmware update) and you can register your product here for the 2 year warranty. This can be done on their website, just a tad more fiddly, so I would advise using the app, plus you have full control of your ear buds from here. You can change the equaliser to any of the pre-sets like speech, neutral, smooth, bass boost etc or you can set your own and save. You have different scenarios too, , all of which you can pretty much make to your own likings. Also you can have your music on whilst the ear buds enhance your surround sounds (called HearThrough) not sure why you would want this, unless you wanted to listen to conversations about Love Island on your commute whilst pretending you were listening to music...oh hold on.Once fully charged (you get a generous 28 hours, almost double the 65t's!) these ear buds really do give off a good sound quality, not tinny, very much like you are in a concert hall or a recording studio, so they have really hit the mark with their choice of speakers / drivers here. They do feel a tad light at first compared to my old pair, but the sound on these is not a complete world away in comparison. It took me a couple of hours to get used to the controls on the earbuds, as there are no 2 small lines that you press top for up like the old pair, left bud down volume and right bud volume up. Also you can hold press to skip track Once this is figured you have mastered em, the right bud switch controls the play / pause music, Answer / end call, reject call, hold for Siri / Alexa or double press for HearThrough so you can strike a conversation or catch up on the latest from Towie from peoples conversation on your commute.Another great function of these earbuds is that once you remove one it pauses the music, which is a nice touch, as my other (non Jabra) set just carried on regardless which means quite often I'd miss most of the tune I was listening to.The last set (65t's) I slated the charge case, as it was rounded, fell over and the ear buds dropped out. They listened...now it stands up on flat bottom and it has magnets that hold ear buds in place. No more snappy case either, a magnetic close jobby!I cannot state how much I recommend this product, they have improved an already near perfect product. Superb.Well done Jabra, what next?

These are stunning little earbuds. I’ve only been using them a week or so but already I would not want to be without them. They sound sublime, with the most punchy bass I’ve ever heard from a pair of earbud style headphones. They come with a little charging case. A single charge of the earbuds is more than enough to last me all day. Pop the earbuds in the charging case though and it will recharge them several times over whilst you’re on the go. Jabra have totally nailed the high end feel here. Right from opening the packaging through setup to using the earbuds themselves everything feels high quality and seamless - everything just works. The Getting Started guide prompts you to download the Jabra Sound+ App to pair your earbuds to your device and personalise their settings. You can also register them through the app to activate a two year warranty against damage from water and dust. Although they can be used without the app, it does do a good job of guiding you through the setup process and showing you all the key features. The app also include a five stage equaliser, a selection of audio presets and a really cool soundscape mode. This mode offers a range of convincing sound effects to either mask the noise around you (with white noise, a fan sound, or underwater effect) or simply relax to (birdsong, thunderstorm, and rain). If you just want to pair the earbuds without using the app (I have an old iPod which is no longer supported) you can do this by simply holding down the buttons on both earpieces simultaneously. What’s more you can actually connect several devices at the same time - so I can continually switch between my laptop and my iPhone without having to disconnect and reconnect.I usually listen to music whilst I work at my desk but throughout the day I do get up and move around a fair bit too. I’ve had absolutely no issues with the earbuds dropping out either physically from my ear or in the sense of the wireless bluetooth connection. I like the fact that as soon as you take one earbud out - say for example when someone’s trying to get your attention - it cuts the music and restarts as soon as you put it back in. The large buttons on each earpiece serve several different purposes. A tap of the left earpiece turns HearThrough on or off. This mode uses tiny mics to feed the ambient sound around you in to the audio mix to keep you aware of your surroundings. Sat at my desk I can hear if someone calls my name or tries to catch my attention. Double tap skips tracks. Holding down adjusts volume. Within a day I had it all mastered. Call quality from my iPhone is also excellent, a tap of the right earpiece picks up calls and restarts my music when the call is through. These earbuds have really impressed me - everything just seems to work in a really robust and straightforward way. Even when I was informed there was an option to install a new update to the firmware, it was over quickly and everything happened exactly as it said it would on the screen. I’ve spent exactly zero percent of my time fiddling around with pairing or struggling with setup, and a hundred percent of my time enjoying how comfortable and easy to use they are - and how fantastic they make my music sound.

Not being a fan of inner headphones due to them falling out constantly in one ear but I was really keen to have some wireless headphones so decided to give them a try.The colour of the headphones were great as they matched my current phone what I planned to use them with. When I opened the packaging I saw that they were simple to get started, the charging case was perfect, meaning that you can keep them stored safe, from damage and keeping them in the case you can charge them on the go, for me this is ideal as I have a USB charger in the car so can charge them when going away in the car and may need to use them - perfect. The headphones themselves were easy enough to get started,I was able to make use of the smaller inserts on the headphones which helped me to get a much better fit, although I do still have issues with my right ear with it falling out, I put this down to me being left handed as I just cannot get a perfect fit in this ear, it is almost as if I have two different sized ears!Once in the ear the sound is really good and it does minimise a lot of external noise. I found them great to use on video calls and they fit discreetly into the ear so its difficult for others to see I am actually wearing them. The app is adaptable to your needs, my only real complaint is that there is an option to have one in one ear only but it only allows you to select the right ear, for me my preferred ear is the left so when I remove the right ear it either pauses play or stops it in the left ear, I would like an option to personalise this further for my preference. The app shows the amount of charge left on the the headphones and in the case which is good so you don't run out of power unaware.Within the headset settings you have the Audio experience so you can pause/resume audio by tapping the left headphone it will turn HeartThrough on and off, I like this as you can be attentive to your surroundings, channelling external ambient noise into the earbuds for increased awareness, and you can adjust its level via a slider in the app which is a great additional feature. The headphones are not noise cancelling but I do find that they are better than other wired headphones that I have used. The Call experience also allow you to personalise your experience so if you have muted your microphone is will play a tone to remind you it is muted. The call equaliser can be amended to default, more treble and more bass and there is also the option to turn on the prioritise blue tooth with call so when the phone rings it will auto play in the headphones. The Headset assistance allows you to amend the sleep mode to save battery when they are inactive or not being worn which is also a great feature.I think that they are a stylish design and I like that they are sweat proof and water resistant. Overall a great pair of headphones. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

These headphones are amazing!!! I cannot fault them in any way possible!!In the box you get a ergonomic ear pieces which already have a medium size silicone ear gels but have two more pairs (1 pair small and 1 pair large). I found the medium were a bit big for me in one ear, so my left ear I added a small ear gel but kept the medium in the other. This is because the entry to my left ear is smaller than my right ( trust me to be wonky but this is nice because I actually have a choice for comfort rather than one always falling out). This is why in the past I have only bought corded ear phones due to the left always falling out and at least it didn't get lost. These earphones work with the makersown app where you can choose a voice assistant and play around with the quality of the sound you prefer and also check the amount of battery left. I have an android mobile, so downloaded via the play store. They also have their own case which is also their charging station. Make sure you aline the prongs with the dots on the ear pieces of the will not charge up. The case shows a red light when charging and turns green once fully charged. You then have to pair up the earbuds with the app on your mobile and everything was pretty easy to follow. So while my earphones charged I downloaded the app to my Samsung Galaxy S7. They are a bit fiddly to fit in your ears if like me your not used to this shape but once in they fit snuggly without being uncomfortable.Inside are some basic pictures instructions on use to make calls or listen to music as well as pairing up the phone. The charger connects to a USB to C attachment which is also included but if you have a Samsung Galaxy s9 or above, is the same fitting.Totally recommend these and well over the moon with their performance.4-microphone technology is proven to deliver superior wireless call performance by creating a noise-blocking zone. The comfortable, fitted eargels are perfect for calls and music on-the-go. Want to customise your sound? No problem with Jabra MyControls, giving users the option to use just one earbud and progra mm able buttons and Jabra MySound, for Individualised audio based on the user’s personal hearing profile. And stay aware of what is happening around you with the HearThrough feature to filter in the sounds that surround you. With one touch you can connect with your virtual assistant to quickly get the information you need. And with the integrated voice co mm and set appointments, make calls, find nearby events or have messages read back to you. Get up to 7.5 hours of music and talk-time with the earbuds and amazing 28 hours with the charging case.Product features:– Wireless range: up to 10 m– Charging time: Up to 2 hours and 20 minutes– 15 minutes rapid charge in charging case provides up to 1 hour of battery life– Fitted silicone eargels– Bluetooth 5.0 standard– IP57 waterproof and sweatproof
