Well I’ve only had it two days, it arrived a few days early, fortunately I was in. I followed the instructions fully and within minutes it was unpacked and operational, no issues with connecting my laptop to it, easy to download the app and adding the printer. I haven’t tried connecting my phone or iPad yet. So far I’ve scanned, sent scan to my email, printer on A3, double sided printing in black and white and in colour, printing addresses on A4 envelopes etc all without any issues and the quality has been fine. The touch screen is pretty small but is clear and works well, a bit clunky and slow adding email addresses in when you’re scanning to an email address. It don’t think the printer is that heavy nor too big considering it does A3 and double sided printing. It is a bit noisy and vibrates a bit when printing but not enough to bother me. I haven’t printed photos on photographic paper yet but I’m pretty confident it’ll perform nicely. It’s a lot of printer for the money in my opinion and feels pretty well made and robust. I guess time will tell but if I get a couple of years good use out if it it’ll have been a good buy. I’d certainly recommend this printer based upon my experience so far.

Having many years ago had a HP ~A3 printer i hadn't taken into account it would be so heavy! The box was put in the hallway and i aimed to have it in an upstairs bedroom! You do need to arrange somebody to help you move it to where you want it. I slid it across the floor and humped it up the stairs so it is now in the bedroom. The next job is to take it out of the box! I'm 72 and a rather plump lady who doesn't have the friends available instantly available to solve the problem. If you are considering purchase, this is an issue you should take into account. (Couldn't return because it would need taking it down the stairs.....!!! I am sure it will work very well as HP are reliable.Bought because the Which? report gives the thickness of paper/card it will accept thicker than others and I want photo quality prints. Rest of the report indidicated not the best laptop on the market, but reasonable. (office quality' These were the compromises I made when buying. Hope that helps others considering which machine to buy.

The printer was easy to set up and has three methods to connect to PC / Network. It produces good fast print and scans equally fast. The HP software is however the usual poor standard and despite using the enclosed disc, it requires a PC connection to the internet to download exactly same files and drivers. Lots of HP crapware that needs to be deleted. The printer itself is big and bulky so needs a lot of space. It is not heavy due to rather flimsy plastics and absence of metal components. The fold down doors and flaps demonstrate where costs have been saved. Overall with the HP cashback it was a good buy but genuine cartridges are as expected - expensive. There is no Instant Ink option.Warranty is extendable to 3 Years but return to base probably makes it worthless due to high return charges.Read full review...

I've only had this printer a short while and i'd give it 4 stars so far.I do have a few issues..Firstly, the software on the printer is awful.. It's a real step back from previous HP printers of 3-4 years ago and not very intuitive at all.Secondly, it is a bit fiddly changing the paper between sizes. This is made more awkward by the printer software asking you to verify paper type. The big plus is the size of the printer. I had been searching for an A3 printer to fit a specific size and this one was the first that i found to do it. It is very small compared to other units. The only other gripe is that there is some banding on colour prints.

Very pleased with printer. Does everything I need it to. Have had HP printers before which are generally reliable.Only real gripes are - switching from A4 to A3 paper pulling out drawer is a bit of a faff.Cost of replacement ink - ouch and then some!Printer quality is very good - quick to print as well.Does not have a USB port so you have to scan to email - my preference is to scan to data stick.Takes a while to set up email addresses on printer as there is not a normal qwerty keyboard shown on screen.Power cable could do with being longer.Looks good and doesn't take up a huge amount of space in the office.

Unpack, remove lock tapes, load paper, plug in power and network, power on, insert cartridges, print test page...All achieved in less than 5 minutes - YES, I said "LESS THAN 5 MINUTES".The printer then auto-updated firmware automatically.I then connected PCs, Phone, and Tablet using HP Smart. All up and running in 10 minutes.Stunning print quality. My last HP printer (6650) lasted for over ten years. This HP OfficeJet Pro 7720 is a worthy replacement, easy to connect and use, and Amazing value for money.

Printer is as you would expect from HP. Took a little while to set up but that was in part my fault - trying to set it up networked instead of USB. Yet to see how long the (very expensive!) cartridges last. Yet to test Tech Sup. (I have my own "in-house" IT wizard: son-in-law!). This is my 3rd HP printer since 2000. Average life seems to be circa 5-6 yrs though the first lasted nearly 10! - those were the days!!! I print an average of 4 pages per day - non commercial use only.

I love the ability to send printing via mobile, email via the app. A3 printing is a bonus too. Also came with XL cartridges (despite box saying it includes set up cartridges) which was a Biggie as the HP cartridges at c.£80 are very expensive. Had to go to HP website to complete installation of drivers to my Windows 10 laptop as Smart App couldn't complete installation, but worked.in the end. So far very pleased

A really fussy piece of equipment to install. Three computers to set it up to print for, and all three reacted differently. No apparent sense as to why it made life so difficult, even reporting an error and unable to link, immediately prior to printing a test page.Time will tell if it was worth the aggravation, but print quality is good, as is speed of function

Brilliant printer. As a company owner who only really prints word documents etc it prints really quickly. A 10 page document you are looking around a minute. If that. However just be warned. When the ink runs out. You are basically having to pay the same price as the printer for the ink. £89.99 on amazon if you want the official hp ink.

Ok, its a little larger than some but that's not an issue for me and set up was easy enough but I have done a few before. I don't do much special printing but the normal print is as good as any other I've used and the photocopy is very good, so far I've had no issues and would recommend it but do check the size.

Great versatile A4 / A3 printer. Very fast .. heaps of connectivity options .. economic with ink .. scanner and copier features are all good and easy to use. HP provided Mobike and Windows apps work very well. Highly recommended. It's a big beastie though .. so check your dimensions and plan where it's going.

Had this for about 6 months now. Works excellently on wifi, printer quality is brilliant on normal and photo paper. Can't fault it at all at this price. The only downside is the cost of replacement ink cartridges, although I think all printers are having this issue these days.

This is the latest of several HP A3 printers I've had over the years and definitely the best.Just replaced an HP 7500A and it's much faster and smoother running.Inks appear to be s bit pricey but look like bigger capacity so should be ok in the long run.

This printer is very good but I find the paper tray a bit catchy , it might be me but I take it out to change the paper size as I got it for A3 photo printing and it's not the easiest printer to change paper on. But it does print amazing colour prints.
