After unboxing the 9012 pro printer it was effortless to set up, within minutes it was connected to all the computers and Apps on iphones as we are a small business, it will be getting used for work and personal use ,even the HP Ink account was swapped in a couple of key clicks, it is smaller than the HP 8728 by a good 2-3 inchs in all directions, see picture - but has more features and is so much better on the eye! we only use HP printers and find them brilliant, one thing i would say is the touch screen is seemingly much more sensative than the 8728. However scanning doubled sided may cause initial confusion as you feed it through the document feeder as apposed to the scanning glass section,you have to use the HP smart app on your computer to set it up were you can alter dpi, paper size, if its a photo or a document, its a little easier looking on youtube to set this up initially as its a little confusing in the manual? Once set up and used a couple of times theirs no issues at all and very easy, only set the printer up yesterday and swapped the HP instant ink from one account/ printer to this one and a mail comes through today saying my new ink cartridges are on their way!! even though the printer comes with a full set!! we have used HP ink for a year or so now and find it very good - just pick the right package for YOU (you can change later on) if you go over your printing quota they do charge extra - so be warned, they dont charge a fortune but its better to over quota yourself in the first place. Looks - this is the best looking HP printer we have ever had, changing ink cartridges is absolutly effortless ! Bam Bam Bam and Bam job done, incidently that wasnt hammering them in!!! Only other thing i would say is it might have been nice to be able to load some photographic paper in as well as A4 print paper, instead you have to take one out and swap with the other, you can print envelopes to but the same applies you must swap to whatever media your printing on. copying is ultra fast compared with its predecessor without the vibration that with the older one i sometimes thought it would jump off the table. All in all everyone here loves it and a full 5 stars ! trouble is they all want one now !! after a month of using this great printer my ONLY grudge is you cannot seem to alter the printing properties from another computer, only the one it was originally set up on otherwise the icons to change are LOCKED. The double sided scanning is just great!!!!!!!This printer has far exceeded our expectations and in years of having HP printers we have found its the BEST yet!!

I'm very pleased with this printer.It replaced a standard all-in-one without any special functionality.The OfficeJet Pro 9012 handles normal printing/scanning/copying very well, but were it truly shines is with things like double-sided printing or copying since it's all automatic. This is my first printer with this functionality and it's fantastic.This also allows for scanning multiple sheets of paper in one go as you can load up the document tray on top with everything to be scanned and then just start. Saves putting each individual piece of paper on the scanner glass manually. It's a massive timesaver in that respect.It also has a nice feature for printing ID cards.This is great for those cases where you're required to send a copy of your ID somewhere as it prints both sides of the ID on a single sheet of paper.There's also support for Google Assistant with fun commands like printing Sudoku puzzles, your Google Calendar for the month, a comic, among many others.Installation and connection to WiFi is very straightforward. I did it on my phone but I'm sure it's simple on a computer as well.The printer itself has a display on it which prints actual error messaging when something is wrong instead of just an error code that requires you to look it up to know what's wrong. This makes it much easier to fix problems (the only "error" I've had is that I ran out of paper once!)The only thing I feel is missing is it would be great if it had a separate paper tray for photo paper to allow loading of both normal paper and photo paper at the same time instead of having to switch over.Overall I'm very happy with the OfficeJet Pro 9012 and would highly recommend it.

This is fab! I've used many printers in my time with my work and can honestly say I've never had one with so many features and still prints so effortlessly. The scan, copy and email functions are superb too. Everything is clearly displayed and so easy to use.i love that when you're copying, you can even edit the documents on the screen! The whole process from opening to using all of the functions available was so easy and straight forward! The instant ink is great too as it will reorder for you when the printer senses the levels are low! Ink straight to your door in 48 hours too! I'm so impressed that I would happily reuse this over and over (I have already switched this to my main printer!)And recommend it to anyone looking for an all round printer! I'm currently using the printer for work related projects, this involves A LOT of admin work and printing certificates on 100gsm wove paper and I have not come across any problems as of yet! I'm so impressed!

OMG what an amazing printer. nearly as good as the one i use in my office but at a fraction of the size. Print set up was simple via the app and it sent instructions to my laptop. Very efficient and i would say i have printed about 100 pages so far and all have been quick and no impact on print quality. i thought the bag that the printer is stored in was a great idea as it makes transporting the printer very easy.
