...but, man, is it a pain to set up! The instructions are hopelessly minimalist. I'm a very tech-savvy systems analyst and even I had trouble getting it set up and running with instant ink registration. Be aware that having your printer connected to your home network is not enough for setting up your instant ink account: it needs to be connected to 'Web Services' too. This is not in the least bit obvious from the instructions. In addition, the instructions refer to an 'ePrint' button on the control panel which you need to press to set up Web Services. The 3720 series doesn't have an 'ePrint' button! Search "Deskjet 3720 doesn't have an ePrint button" on HP Support.

Have had one of these for several weeks now. Works very well and is extremely compact making it much better for my needs than the printers that seem to take up an entire desk.Got extra several months Instant Ink with code nbnVr and freeink together.Now I have 7 months of free printing (up to 300 pages per month) somehow!! These can be full colour photo pages as well so I think the value is hard to beat. This fits on an IKEA Billy bookcase shelf easily as the feeder tray at the back is quite vertical. Front tray can be pushed in when not in use. I'm printing mostly illustration and graphics and it works perfectly well for this. First few prints had smudgy blacks but seems to have fixed itself.

Printer looks amazing and is very compact, print quality is excellent and very good value for money. However, setting it up could have been easier as the instructions were terrible. Also the print speed was extremely slow it took about 4 minutes to print out one sheet of A4 with little on it. After about 2 hours I figured out that the settings on my computer had it set to printing on high quality gloss paper. Once I changed this setting to printing on plain paper the printing speed increased dramatically to printing out a sheet in just a few seconds.Would give it 5 stars but it took me ages to find out why it was printing slow.I have seen other reviews on here complaining of the printing speed,

Brought this for my daughter during lock down.....I wanted something cheap and small and this fits the bill. Its fine for home printing and school work but not if you want professional printing. Set up was OK but not as easy as they make out and it took us a while and two computers to get it to connect to the WiFi network at home. It does print easily from your phone or any other computer on the WiFi network once it is up and running. We struggle to get it to print Good colour quality and have had to re-insert the colour cartridge a few times and even then the colour is brown rather than red ……….we haven't tried the other features get such a copying and scanning.

Bought this for the free printing plan. As long as I don’t print more than 15 pages a month, I will not be charged for ink which HP send to me automatically when I need it. Only a small charge if I go over the 15. The printer is a fairly lightweight plastic affair. Printing in b & w is fine. Colour printing is very slow but quality is adequate although I haven’t tried any high definition prints onto photo paper yet. The printer is quite noisy when it starts printing but then settles down. The scanner needs you to feed the source document into the slot at the top and if it doesn’t grab it first time, you end up with a distorted scan. It obviously can’t scan books, magazines etc.

This was easy to set up on wireless despite other comments saying instructions were poor. It comes with a disc and I just connected the printer to my computer with the cable provided. After clicking on the printer name and downloading software for the printer and Ink plan it was plain sailing. I love the size of this printer it's half the size of my old HP and much lighter. It comes with two start up cartridges and it takes up to 10 days for your plan to start. Looking forward to the cheap printing after spending £75 on three sets of HP 301 cartridges in 8 months my plan at £1.99 a month for 50 copies should now cost £16 for the same period.

The printer is really compact, you don't have the huge scanner surface most printers have. It took me a while to complete the setup process. I can only think of minor disadvantages so far and really like the product! I think it is one of the better printers available for its price.The instant ink trial is also very useful and limits your ink costs significantly.Get an additional month using the following code when registering: nFVh3

This is such a compact printer and so far the quality seems good for the money. Don't understand all the negative comments about set up. I switched it on, inserted cartridges then went to the website on my laptop and away we go. From opening the box to printing my first document was about 20 minutes. Comes with a cable and CD but neither are needed, just use the Wi-Fi to connect. Also very easy to set up the instant print service.

As I live in a flat I have alway gone to my parents for anything I needed to print because I didn’t think I had the space for a printer. I decided to give this printer a try just to make my life a bit easier. I only use it for the odd document here and there but for the price I think it is brilliant. It always prints straight away and is really compact and doesn’t take up a lot of room. Would recommend!

After having this printing for a while I will say this printer produces great quality prints and is a lovely small printer. The wireless set up is a little difficult and can be frustrating but if you keep calm then you should succeed in completing the setup.Overall this printer is value for money and a nice small addition to the home office.

This was just what we needed in our apartment, it’s small enough to put in a draw so it’s not always out on show. Printer cartridge lasts long enough and the feel scanner is great on documents, not so good scanning on shiny surface like birthday cards. The app for your phone is great! Scanning documents into one pdf has been really useful!

I love this little printer.. it is hassle free because it is wireless and I can leave it on the shelf under the cabinet and print off what I need wherever I am in the house on my lap top. Its a good buy for those reasons. No wires to connect to the lap top and ease of printing with good quality prints. Highly recommended,

Bought a while ago, still going strong, great price and handy for day to day home printing for docs, pics and kids projects.. recommend the hp printer app and ink set up to get new ink as printer reports running low and the cost of this is really well priced from the printer to the ink replacement payment plans, so easy

This printer is very nice to look at and a good price but unfortunately I have had it for 4 weeks now and I still cannot get it to connect it keeps reading printer off line I have tried everything stated on line but still no success , I have had it to long now to return it so I am still trying to get it to connect.

This is a great printer ,very stylish and compact.It does not take a lot of space ,it looks great on my desk and works perfectly as an all in one printer for home use.The only thing that I was straggling is the e-print set up and it takes time very time you want to use e-print connection ,but is ok.
