I really do not understand why this game is getting so much hate! I have played all Potter games and this one is by far the most engaging out of all. It keeps you on edge and as far as the loss of 'magic' is concerned - as some people claim it no longer consists - the first part of Deathly Hallows is exactly as it is in the game! They are no longer in Hogwarts, searching for secret passages and brewing potions.The only thing I hated about this game were the Dixies. They are SO. ANNOYING.In my opinion, this game is exactly what I was hoping for. A Harry Potter game that is actually a little hard and frustrating(sometimes) to play. As an amateur game player this game was pretty hard considering the game controls were quite hard. I have played all the other harry potter wii games and found them enjoyable I but quite easy. This one gave me a challenge. The game takes a while to complete and is quite hard but you get used to the controls. After a while I developed the strategy of protego and then aiming and using confringo. I find it amusing using the invisiblity cloak and getting close to snatchers then blowing them up before they can use stupefy on you. This game is really fun when you get into it. Well worth buying it but when you have finished trade it in because it is worth a lot at the minute

This game is reasonably good, however, it does trial off and not focus on the story line at some points. At these points you have to complete 3 missions, before you can continue, some can be boring and take time. These have been added to make the game longer. In some sense these are useful as otherwise the game would be much shorter and they can help you adapt to the game as well.When you are following the story line, it feels like you are really Harry Potter and trying to accomplish his mission. It is great fun and I would recommend for anyone to get it.It was well packaged and came on time.

This game was delivered to me today,but I am very dissapointed because the case was opened,despite the fact I bought a NEW copy not a USED one.Even if the case was opened,I noticed that on the back of the disc there was some fingerprints.The 3rd thing is that the case was broken and I can't close it ... I need to change it with another one,and I cleaned the fingerprints from the back of the disc... The disc works but I am very dissapointed about this order. At the end of January I received an order from Amazon.co.uk and it was delivered perfectly! Very dissapointed about this!

Downsides to the game are mostly the controls.I was disappointed to find instead of waving the control to cast spells you're just pushing buttons.Moving about can get a bit annoying aswell, however you do get used to it after spinning in circles for ages.I have to say though I do like it alot more than the Half-Blood Prince, in this game I feel like there is more to do.Overall not as good as the Order of the Phoenix but better than Half-Blood Prince.

well i loved this game as i do all the harry potter games apart from the goblet of fire.if you are looking for a game that keeps you on the edge of your seat then this is the game to get .the views are breath taking.my only concerns are that the camera position is awkward at first but you adjust to it. also no free roam whick is annoying but the gameplay makes up for it .i cannot wait for the next one!!!

i think harry potter and the deathly hallows part 1 ps3 is the best harry potter game that has ever been made with the superb graphics and the ability to change spells when ever you want not like the last game when you were only allowed to you defense spells i duels only i would recommend the game game anyone . looking forward for harry potter and the deathly hallows part 2 ps3 in july

I don't understand why everyone hates this game, really! The graphics were very good, the controls were responsive, the spells were very good, and the story followed very well! Enough said. If you're a Harry Potter fan, buy it. Others, rent it at least.

Amazing game. Literally couldn’t get off it until I got too tired. I think my only issue is that you have to move the wii remote to position the screen properly which did make a little difficult to get used to at first

I BOUGHT THIS GAME FOR MY SON...HE HAS REALLY ENJOYED DOING AND COMPLETING THE GAME, I WATCHED HIM PLAY SOME OF THE GAME AND THOUGHT THE GRAPICS WERE EXCELLENT AS DID MY SON, FANTASTIC TO PLAY AND BREATH TAKING.

I bought this Xbox CD for my grandchildren. They don't stop playing with it and I must say it made me the best Granny in the world!I watch them playing and enjoy every second. It's just great.Marta

I liked the game even if you play with the controller is a bit complicated but I would recommend it if you have other Harry Potter games should not miss this to your collection

Just another DS of Harry Potter for my granddaughter, she absolutely enjoys every minute of them. As she has all of them now I shall now have to think of a different present.
