Owning five Gregory packs of varying size, one might think I have a bias...and I do...Gregory packs have served me without failure, are comfortable and perform trip after trip, year after year. I've had this pack for a couple seasons now. We tend to pack a little on the heavier side for day hikes- this pack holds my hydration bladder, extra water bottles in the outer side pouches, sweatshirt, raincoat, insulated lunch bag, first aid kit, keys, phone, and there's probably more that I'm forgetting. The fit and straps are really comfortable. My only gripe with this pack is that I find the small belt pouches a little difficult to zip/unzip while wearing the pack so I tend to leave them half open for easy access to chapstick, tissues, etc.

Comfortable well thought out except trekking pole holder the bungee and loop are too close together and my poles flop towards my shoulder. They need to be farther apart. If it had a holder each side would be great ,that is only reason I knocked a star off if there was a half star option this review would be 4 1/2 stars. Other than that it’s great.

It’s a quality Gregory backpack like the one my dad had back in the 80’s. I use it for day hikes. The bag has a huge front loading panel that I love. I hike with my little kids so it makes carry essentials like water, snacks and extra clothing easy to organize and access. The fit is truly amazing and I’m sure it will last a long time.

I had an osprey bag before - the only reason I changed was I needed something bigger. The Gregory bag has all the right features, stash pockets and all while keeping the weight down. I love the back support frame. Gregory thought of everything with this bag and whether you fill it up or not it holds things nicely and is still compact

This pack feels weightless, I've taken 3 hikes loaded up to over 20 lbs and it was fine. The pockets on the hip belt are large enough to be useful, There's plenty of storage. Seems well made and I'm expecting many years and miles of use.

had the previous version of zulu 40 which was great.now the new zulu is better because you can customize the length of the back carry system.I like it that I can hike without thinking about how the backpack fits, because it just do!

I got this about a month ago. i have Done a couple of hikes with the pack. it almost feels like i do not have anything on. Very Well Designed and great openings. I only wish there was a separate way to get to the Hydration Bladder.

Best 35L day pack in the game. Far exceeded my expectations. The features / overall design are next level. 10/10 for comfort and function, can’t wait to put some serious miles on it and make some great memories seeing new places.

I bought this pack a year ago for my a day pack for National Parks with my pregnant wife. It easily carried everything for both of us up and down Bryce Canyon, Zion, and the Grand Canyon

Used my new pack for an extended day hike. Ventilation great, very comfortable. I was able to fit all my stuff with room to spare.
