Really good quality item from Germany. So far I have chopped: medium/small chips out of peeled potatoes, then a combination of diced tomatoes, finely diced onions, jalapenos (from a jar), garlic for a salsa, then thinly sliced pitted olives and tomatoes with the mandoline cutter for a tart. The only thing it is not brilliant at (as it isn’t designed for it) is carrots/root veg. You need to press firmly but carefully to cut thise and slice them by hand quite thinly to start with. I love this item. The chips were cut to perfection and the salsa had lovely even tomato cubes. A time saver if cooking for a family but probably not if using for one or two people. Easy to set up, store and clean too.

I have used this to chop salad vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers and cucumber (skinned).Much nicer and more colourful (depending on the vegetables used) than the standard lettuce, tomato etc. It is so eady to use and we are eating more salads than ever. This dicer is brilliant. My tips are to rinse the cutter grid immediately after use and soak in water until washed up and to cut tomatoes first so that following vegetables push through the few seeds that remain in the cutter grid.
