My daughter loves this magnetic creative toy. It has not only helped her develop her artistic skills but she has also learnt about magnetism in the process, and has been fascinated trying to find which objects in my house the pieces will stick to.My one grumble with this toy is that it is not easy to store if the box gets damaged/thrown away. It would be handy to have a little bag to keep the pieces together in. Also, the metal background piece looks like a biscuit tin lid, and being raised on the edges means that when my daughter stands on it it bends easy - but then again i have a very boisterous 2 year old!

This keeps my 2 year old busy for ages. He likes to sort the shapes into their different groups and also makes pictures. The board does let it down as it is just a biscuit tin lid and got trodden on after a couple of weeks and is now dented, but we moved the magnets to the fridge where he has more space to move them around anyway! It was inexpensive so wasn't too worried and overall a good buy!

I bought this for my 3 year old son to keep him entertained whilst on holiday in Italy and it was a really good buy as he played with it alot. He really enjoyed making all the different pictures with the magnets. My nieces who are 6 and 8 years also liked playing with the game. I would say that it it is a perfect toy to take away with you and given the price you can't really go wrong.

I bought these for my daughter and within a couple of hours the magnets started falling out. It was quite easy getting all of the magnets out of the plastic shapes and I super glued them back in. Since then no problem.I would say that some of the shapes are rather small so no good if your child has a tendancy to stick things in their mouths.

bought for a good price after trying something else from the galt range. My son who is 4 told me on opening it that he has this at his school so he started straight away making pictures using the shapes. He did enjoy it and its not messy. My only grumple is i would have liked a few more pieces and a better box to store it all in.

The shapes are quite small but I guess I should've read the description properly for size. I actually thought these were magnetic blocks but they aren't what I had in mind. They are fridget-magnet-like shapes that come with a metal board to stick them on. You are able to create drawings with the magnetic shapes on the board.

wow this is great kept my boys entertained for a few hours, could do with buying 2 lots of them to have more to choose from but i did have 2 boys playing with it....you get just a tin lid with the shapes...i also bought a tray which does the same trick with holding the shapes on...

I bought this for my 5 year old but she hasn't had a look in. My 2 year old boy loves it. He stacks the pieces up, talks about the colours and because it's in a tin with edges, they don't end up on the floor. This keeps him entertained for longer than most of his other toys.

Good initially for finding different shapes and putting them onto the magnetic board and then you can advance to making pictures. The magnetic board is like a lid of a tin so could do with being a bit stronger but great product and lots of fun!

The shapes are good they come with examples the children can make. The only criticism is the metal tray would be better as a flat board as a little one stood on it and it now has a dent in it which I can’t get out!

My 2 and a half year old grandson, absolutely loves this simple puzzle. He loves sorting all the shapes and it is great at helping to develop eye/hand co-ordination. Brilliant.

My 3 year old grandson has spent hours playing with this shape set, making many different objects and pictures. Galt Toys are always reliable and worth buying.

The magnetic shapes is for our granddaughter when she visits to play with her dollies, which is a birthday present for her on her birthday this week.

This a very good toy for teaching shapes sizes and colours, the metal tray is of low quality and ours dented easily, but overall does what's intended
