This is a lovely idea for preserving that memory of baby being so small. As you can see from the photos, everything is included in the kit, except for something like a rolling pin or something else to flatten the clay with. The instructions are printed in Spanish, German, French and Italian, as well as in English. However, they do not suffer from the usual problem of having all the languages in one daunting oversized book. Instead, each is printed professionally in large format on paper, then you can immediately throw away the languages you will not be reading it in.The kit inside is all about the practicalities, so functional in appearance, but the glossy, sturdy box, as well as supporting its quite heavy contents,is presenting them well, being of a simple design with its Bubzi logo. This makes the product sit very comfortably in the baby birth gift or baby shower gift market, because its attractive packaging has a designer look to it, and packs the contents in a compact and easily transportable way. My tip to the sellers, however, is that the gorgeous photo on here of the frame with its two baby pictures and the cute hand and foot prints should feature somewhere on the product. Preferably it would be good if the box gave a clear indication in this way of what the gift was, as it is not obvious to a recipient. In the case of an occasion like a baby shower the parent will receive several gifts, and it is nice if their function is immediately obvious on opening. A reasonable alternative to this would be the inclusion of this picture inside the box or on the instruction sheets. This would show the buyer or recipient what they were aiming at with the clay and photo frame. These points do not detract from the 5 star rating of the product, but hopefully can be taken on board as an idea by the producers. The company are clearly very proud of their product, and give a guarantee of satisfaction. Please note that I received a discount on the frame, in order to give an opinion via a review on Amazon

What can i say about this kit. When i originally got it, i was thinking of giving it to a friend for their newborn, but then realised they had already been bought one. At the same time there was a delay in my partners birthday present, so i decided to use it for my 10 month old as a stop gap present. She could not have been more pleased to receive it all mounted and framed, with a few photos of them together. The kit arrived in a lovely high quality white box. Inside you have instructions in large print (yay for the partially sighted amongst us), 3 packets of air drying clay and the frame. All the items feel and look like good quality and look like they will stand the test of time. The air drying clay is in three packets, and you simple combine them and work it until it becomes soft and pliable. I used a mug but a rolling pin is better to roll the clay into the frame and the excess put back into the packet in case you need to seal any cracks once it has dried. The fun part is getting a wiggly 10 month old to stay still long enough to stamp his hand and foot into the clay and not want to squeeze it and play with it.I left it for about 3 days in a cool room, so it took a little longer to dry than a warmer room would but also slower drying prevents cracking . Once all mounted up and the plastic sheet attached etc it looks great.Im so happy with this kit and will buy one in the future if i ever need one,I received this item at a discount in exchange for an honest unbiased review

While I liked the product and it served its purpose (kind of), it represents significantly poor value for money at £25 (which is apparently reduced from RRP £39 - really?) Realistically, it is a very basic frame, a very small piece of MDF for the backing, some thin acrylic for a screen, a lightweight stencil cut-out to separate photos, and a very small quantity of clay. Depending on your viewpoint of economics, the production value of this item would be a fraction of the RRP.I had issues with the product in terms of clay being mostly 'unworkable' and therefore prone to excessive cracking once dried.Update:I just wanted to add that the customer service I received from Bubzi Co. was simply flawless.Having reviewed my issues with the product, they were only too happy to offer me a replacement and I must say, once it arrived and I tried it - everything worked as expected. From my perspective, I can only conclude that the original item must have been slightly faulty or perhaps the clay was exposed to air, which lead to excessive cracking. The replacement was incredibly easy to use by comparison and lived up to my original expectations. Again though, the customer service from Bubzi Co. was explemary and indeed - a rarity these days. I have amended my Star rating from 3-stars to 4-stars. I couldn't give it 5-stars because, while it may be more competitive than other options out there - I still feel that the price should be improved upon for what it is.

The product itself is one of the best and more reasonably priced on the Internet. That said, I had issues with the first one I received (details below) and asked for a second to be sent to me. The company was very friendly and helpful and sent this free of charge next day delivery, I can't fault the customer service. The reason for only four stars is as follows:1) it is fiddly to roll out the clay in to the area / box provided in the frame. You are given 3 small bags of clay to use - a 4th is definitely needed. Without four, a rolling pin is not sufficient to flatten it all in to place, as the clay doesn't fill the entire box and so the rolling pin won't be in contact with all of the clay.I had to resort to a fiddly small glass to flatten it all. I've tried this twice2) the clay crack when dried. The first time was noticeable, the second time not so much. Using any spare clay to fix the cracks looks a bit obvious. Not sure whether there should be instructions of how to best dry the clay - I.e hot or cold environment to avoid this ??The end result, second time round, is very good and i would recommend the product. I would urge the company to take my views on board going forward to ensure future customers dont have the same issueI attach the better photo- second time around

I bought this as a gift for a friend who was expecting her first baby, so, sorry Bubzi Co, if it took me a while to review.... We had to wait for Mayzie to make an appearance!Baby days are so swift. And babies grow so fast. this is such a lovely way to create a lsting memory of when your precious bundle was so tiny.Every thing you require is included, except the baby, and that you need to supply your self. the frame is good quality and being plain white, will fit any décor for years to come. the style is simple, and will also fit in any where for ever. No hiding this away when the frame goes out of style.the instructions are easy to follow and the clay is air dried, so little fuss for busy new parents. The clay is also nice and soft, so lots of pressure from tiny hands and feet is not required. if the impression does not come out well first time, simply smooth over straight away and do it again. Take a couple of photos at the same time, and there you have it a lasting memory. As the frame is plain white, I think a simple inscription of the Babys name and age and date done would be delightful.I was lucky enough to receive this kit at a discounted price in exchange for my honest unbiased review. it has not altered my opinion in any way at all

This is a lovely little memento and I am pleased with the results of my own frame. The service from the seller is also excellent - it arrived in good time, was well packaged and they really seem to care. The seller shared some good advice on how to achieve the best results... which if I'm honest, I forgot about by the time I made my frame because the frame arrived 5 weeks before the baby! The parts are of good quality too.I did make the mistake of wanting both hands and both feet in the frame - which do actually fit with a small newborn baby (our son was 6lb 9oz) but they get quite cramped. This meant 2 things:1) the hands (which are hard to get right anyway as babies seem to like to claw at things)we're really tough - I did them last but if I did it again, I'd do them first as feet can pretty much be planted where you want them - hands have a mind of their own!2) The other thing you find when you push 4 appendages into the clay is that the clay rises up outside of the frame, so you lose some of that flush finish. I made an error by trying to trim it and accidentally scored my visible clay. Filling my mess with more clay ended up leaving an obvious visible join once the whole thing had dried. So be cautious!

When I purchased the baby imprint kit, I wasn't sure about the result or if I could make it and get successful imprint. It was delivered in time and in very good packaging as I always thought amazon packaging is the best. The frame itself is very basic and quiet small it could be cheaper regarding its simplicity. But i followed the instructions carefully and I have got excellent result, it saved me lots of money rather buying it in mothercare for £107 you can make it yourself it's finely easy to make !I opened all 3 clay bags and kneaded it in my hand like play dough and then I aplayed it in its place in frame I used a mug and my thumb to fill the edges properly I used also the back of table spoonto make it soft.I sat my baby on my lap by the table and opened her little hand and pressed it firmly into the clay.I didn't like the first impression so I had to do it all over again, but I am very happy about the final result. After 48 hours it was completely dry and i painted the frame and the clay and the imprints in very nice color nail polish because it comes in while color only.I definitely recommend it to everyone!!

I really want to love this product- the frame feels very high quality and I like the simple but classic design. The fact that you get everything included, such as the double sided tape, is a nice touch. However, my clay cracked! I'm a bit confused about whether this was my own fault, but I have received contradictory instructions. The instructions which came with the product specifically state (in caps!) to "dry in DIRECT sunlight for a minimum of 48 hours". So that's what I did, and within less than an hour, cracks were appearing. However I've noticed that in the Q's and A's on Amazon the advice is to dry the clay in a shaded area, not in direct sun. I wish I'd read that first!Despite the cracking I'm still happy with the product, I found the clay easy to use and it was very soft so I didn't have to apply much pressure at all to get a good print from my 9 month old baby. Overall I got good prints and the frame looks nice with my photos in, it just would have looked better without the cracking.

This product looked great so thought we would capture our lil boys hand and foot to keep. When I received it I was impressed with the packaging etc I read the instructions throughly and proceeded to follow them.Once we did the imprints we left it in a room as no direct sunlight. The next morning we came down an there was crack running through both the hand an foot an all over the rest of the clay.:-( I contacted the seller who then sent me instructions that didn’t match the ones that came with it so they agreed to send me another one asking If I had completed the online warranty first (no I hadn’t)I received the next one and followed the instructions they had sent me,again the next day there is still cracks in the clay not as many but unfortunately there is a crack running through the foot :-(.Now unless I did something wrong (even though I followed the instructions ) I wouldn’t say this was the best and very conflicting with the information on how to use.Easy to contact the seller though.

I gave this product 5 stars because it really does deserve it! I personally purchased the product as a present to my good friend to celebrate the birth of her child. The product itself is so easy to use and is now a great keepsake for my friend to treasure. It came with great instructions i.e. step by step to ensure everything could be done with ease and came. The product came in a really sweet presentation box, which also contributed to it being a great present :) One thing I really liked about this product is that the frame allowed for two photographs to be placed next to the foot and hand prints. I loved this because it will be something she can enjoy for years to come. The product was as described by Amazon and came within the delivery time agreed. Overall I thought this product was brilliant because it was cost effective and easy to use. It was also a great size and was everything I wanted in a gift :DThis product was purchased at a reduced rate in exchange for an honest review :D

Go this as My niece has just been born, and wanted a memory. the frame isn't as big as i thought but still an adequate size, with 2 little gaps for photos. the whole process took about 20 mins after softening the clay rolling it out i thought was awkward did take sometime to get it smooth and ready for the print, my niece is 6 weeks so getting her hand to go flat was a nightmare and we had tears :-( but i put cream on her hand and foot and had no problem with the clay her foot looked amazing, hand like i said was hard but after 3 try i got it :) the clay ties 48+ hours to dry which didn't crack or look awful. it dried lovely. it comes with the frame, clay and instructions the instructions come in several languages and are very straight forward.Over all its a brilliant product for the cost and they memories can then be kept forever which is priceless. would recommend.I received these at discount or free of charge for my personal opinion. Hope it helps :)

I bought this for my brother's baby girl. She was just over 3 weeks old when I gave this to them, and they decided do to it then, even if I thought the baby was too young, and it was better to wait a few months. I was thinking that you need to press in a little bit and she seemed so fragile, and I was a bit worried it won't work. I must admit it was a bit of a struggle since she was so young and couldn't quite keep her palm open, first time we ended up with her fist :) but the clay is very soft, and it is very easy to do it again if it doesn't look exactly right. Also, because of the soft clay you don't need to press as hard as I thought to get something, and the baby actually seemed to enjoy the feeling of it.It was a lot of fun to get her to do it, and it was much easier with her feet. I haven't seen the frame after it got dry, but from what I did see I would definitely recommend this.

Oh wow, how perfect is this! Such a precious gift to give. You get the complete set of the wonderful frame, double sided tape and clay and very clear perfect instructions. The very first thing I noticed was how soft the clay is, so its not going hurt tiny hands or feet while taking the imprint. The clay air dries in 48 hours, so there is no rush to get that perfect print, if you dont like the first impressions, then simply roll the clay and redo the prints. the frame is a high quality wooden frame, with a good quality plastic front. On the back it has a stand and this would sit proud on any ones shelf or sideboard. The size of this item is 34.3 x 29.2 x 4.4 cm, and has 2 sections for photos too. This doesn't have to be for just a baby, could be used for for paw prints, or how about a special granddad or grandmother. lovely lovely item, and I am over the moon with it

Received this very quickly after ordering, I thought it would make a great keepsake to do on my so so rag birthday, I wish I had done this from when he was home instead (spent first 7 weeks in the nicu) but we be got around to it. I felt this one was different to others at it is my just a hand and foot mould but also a photo frame! I'm not sure if I've personally seen any as smart looking as this one and think it will look great and we will hand it up on our wall with pride. It comes in a white box with the frame and then 2 of the mixing packets that you would mould your child's hand and foot prints into, I cannot comment on how easy this is to do as we have no done it yet (I could get back and add this information)but it seems simple from the instructions . Over all very pleased so far

This is absolutely beautiful! I love it and it looks stunning in my living room, a real nice centrepiece. It's a lovely size and I managed to get both children's prints on it. One hand at the top and a little foot across the bottom. The two photo compartments are a really good size too. I am so happy with this product, I had one from a shop at the same price and the clay was awful and the frame was very cheap. This clay that came with this was good quality as of course, you never get it right the first few times and it was good enough to 're roll a good few times without it looking shabby and old. The frame is good quality too and you can see that just by looking at it on the shelf. This company is always consistent with their quality and I never have a worry when ordering from them.
