So, you get something which you will spend as much as an hour, to be realistic on a leisurely day, making with your child. And then you get to keep the results, which can be rather 'individual'.The fiddly bit that puts me off just a little bit I can explain as follows: see in the product picture that there's a sort of net in the hoop. That's made out of a single silver string, which you have to wrap around the outside of the hoop with suitable distances between each coil, and then start weaving the net from the first coils inwards. This may take a couple of tries, and results may vary, but you can do it over and again if you wish. Impatient children will have to wait half an hour for the glue to dry where the feathers are stuck on.

My 3 year old started having nightmares and we tried a few things but nothing worked, until my 6 year old suggested a dream catcher. I have to say I was very sceptical, however it's stemmed to have done the trick... So really it doesn't matter if it works or not I'm just happy to be getting some more sleep!I have to say though that this was not the easiest thing I've ever made! My initial idea was to make it with the help of my 3 year old... Well, he watched for about a minute before he got bored, and could tell by the look on my face I was not enjoying the experience!If you've got the time, and patience, to make this then well worth a try, especially for the price!

Pretty feathers, dyed pink and white, the ribbon was a lovely peachy shade; and the pink, sky blue, and yellow beads all match the silver thread. I looked up extra instructions on YouTube - you need to pull the silver thread TIGHT. It also helps to TIE the feathers to the project rather than gluing them onto the silver string. My only quibble was that there wasn't enough silver thread so I had to buy more to finish the project. This was annoying. Still, very pleased that I've made my first Dreamcatcher!

Ordered this as a gift, so it hasnt been opened as yet but can not fault the delivery and service, Ordered this item and within a couple of days it came. Will be ordering from here again.. As you can expect speedy delivery.. I am sure my little one will enjoy making this dreamer catcher.Thanks for a great speedy delivery... And also for packing it in cardboard as my daughter answered the door to the postman!!So she has no idea what came lol....Thank you :)

Really enjoyed making this with my 5 year old daughter but she did need a lot of support. She is thrilled with the end result, it is really pretty and she is really proud of what she has achieved. On opening the box it looked like something and nothing but I am actually really impressed with the end product. If a child is going to attempt this without help i think 8 plus is more realistic but with help 5 upwards.

My neice has been nagging me for a long time to buy her this and now that I have, I am glad that I did because she loved it. I wouldn't recommend this for very young children because it can be fiddly, but would highly recommend this for older kids. It keeps them busy, entertained and at the end they have something to show for their efforts. A great buy, I am a happy customer.

An ideal present for a little Girl. I bought this Kit a week before my 8 year old Grand-daughter's Birthday. It arrived in plenty of time, well wrapped, and She loved it. Making the item from a kit just added more fun to the deal. Couldn't fault my buying experience in any way. I would give it top rating, and would use the Site again for other family members.

I purchased this as a gift for my Niece, it hasn't yet been given to her as it's for her Birthday later in the year, I purchased when on offer and for what I paid it is well worth the price, I try and get my gifts from Amazon when I see special promotion's and offers and have vertually get everyone's now for this year, very happy, as quality is very good.

I bought this for my niece who is 6 for Christmas. We did it together and really enjoyed it, she is now very excited to have something to keep her hair clips in. I do feel that a little adult supervision is needed as the beads get everywhere when excited little hands get hold of the packets.

Bought to make with my 5 year old daughter. We spent a good hour christmas morning carefully working together to make the dream catcher! Lovely pretty pink ribbon, beads and feathers. Lovely sparkly beads and thread for the web. Instructons not child-friendly - child would need adult help.

Bought for my daughter's 5th birthday as an easy arts and craft activity. She completed much of the wind chime herself and only needed help stringing the chimes. A really lovely activity. It won't keep children amused for hours but is reasonably priced for a short activity on a rainy day.

This is a good creative activity. My twin 7 year-old neices loved spending time making their boxes. All very straight forward and although tricky for little fingers to get beads in the groves, they had fun and were pleased with their own results. Would recommend for similar aged girls.

Bought this as a gift for a friend's daughter. I can't give it 5 stars because I have no idea how good it was. It looks exactly as in the Amazon picture when received. Haven't had any feedback as yet from my friend's daughter and I didn't see inside the box myself.

Purchased for 10 year old daughter who is crafty - very easy to use and was able to leave her to it - has a nice end effect when hung up near window and pleasant chimes noise! She really enjoyed doing it - good present/stoking type filler/rainy day activity.

i have purchased this as a gift so I cannot comment on how it was received, however, my daughter wishes one for her birthday. Seems to be an item to occupy a child for quite a while though I would purchase for a child 7+ as the task looks a fiddly one.
