Used this today for our six year old daughter. Mixing instructions straight forward but when it comes to how long you leave the hand in for, nothing is mentioned. I have never done this sort of thing before so my knowledge of imprints was zero. I googled "hand imprints how long in mix" and it came back with two minutes. You need to support your childs hand and depending on their age and understanding need to help keep it steady. Be careful putting it in and lifting off and don't let them press their hand in too far. It took 3 attempts to get this right which thankfully the mix allowed for. Using a toothpick to write in the mix was 'naff' if you like that look.

Ok. This is cheap and as another review said 'You get what you pay for'There's little to do for a child and it's more of a headache for the parent to assemble the tacky frame, mix the powder just right etc, and time when to put the hand in for the imprint.Saying all that, my daughter was happy with the result and keeps it in her room, so not a complete waste!

Instructions said to use 150-180ml of water and wait 3-5 minutes after mixture is made before placing hand in mould. I used timer on phone for 5 minutes and it was too wet when daughter placed her hand on it. Don't go by instructions as it's not accurate! Nice idea for Mothers Day but poor quality...

The hand didnt come out as I expected it to, but it was good fun to do. I found that ink printing was better. However, I can imagine this toy would be fun for older toddlers/ young children.

Not very easy to use and the frame is almost impossible to keep around the handprint. It was reasonably priced but I guess you get what you pay for.
