Purchased this sponge for my Spec aquarium as the old one had become damaged with years of use. The sponge is really dense but still allows for good water flow. It features two cutouts for both the ceramic and active carbon media. I was pleased that this fitted my original Fluval spec 7.6l since this is a discontinued aquarium I was worried that it wouldn't fit but it did.

it is a perfect replacement for the particular size tank, always check youre ordering for the size of the tank you have!
