As per title this fits lovely which was a concern buying online. I'm 6ft1 with a 45/46 inch chest and broad shoulders. I debated between L and XL in the end settled on xl to allow room for layering, the L would probably be fine with a tshirt but the xl is perfect for me allowing a fleece or insulation layer underneath slightly big around the tummy but that happens with every jacket for me.Very little rustle from this jacket unlike my old goretex and for now seems just as waterproof and More breathable i will update if that changes.Only minor point is there are no hand pockets around the hips not a concern for me but others may miss them The chest pockets are huge plenty of room for

I've been looking for rain jackets for about two months after reading a few articles in Outside magazine. I'd even gone to REI and tried out a few. It was then that I came across another Outside magazine that commented on this rain jacket and how really good it was. I double checked my size before ordering and waited. It came in and it was exactly what I've been looking for as a jacket to use while out hiking and in rougher conditions. It's a slight bit smaller than the same size for other rain jackets, but extra-large worked for me. I can even put a long sleeve shirt and something underneath and it fits comfortably.

Quite simple. You get what you pay for. I saw this on Amazon priced about 30% lower than most places. I wouldn’t normally spend £450 on a rain shell. After weeks in The Brecon Beacons, Snowdonia, Lake District and daily walks in all challenging conditions, this has performed to a level nothing else could touch. Stunning soft touch and ‘quiet’ fabric, large pockets, adjustable in all the right places, hard wearing and ideal ventilation. If I knew it was this good I would have bought sooner - I have used the best Paramo, Arcteryx, Montane etc have on offer, nothing comes near.

From any point of view this is an expensive item so a considered purchase on what you want it for, Ive purchased Fjallravan products previously both a hoody and down jacket, pleased with both so I went for this.I like the detailing and fit of Fjallraven products and absolutely love the fit and styling on this jacket and expect it to be lifetime purchase.

Great jacket, high quality, fits well, comfortable. I wore in on my motorcycle in a downpour and I was bone dry underneath. The material is great as it doesn’t have that crinkly sound and feel most three layer shells have. Only downside is there are no hand pockets, although the chest pockets are great with a backpack on.

Didn’t buy in the end as preferred the fit of another jacket. I’m usually a medium but seemed too large...should have gone small. I’m 5’11 and 12.5st. Comes up quite large compared to Mountain Equipment. Seems like a decent fabric, nice style. All I can say really as only tried it on a few times and returned.

Outstanding protection.Just walked the Yorkshire Three Peaks in storm Miguel and this jacked kept me 100% dry.You don’t miss not having pockets and the vents were amazing for when the rain was light and it was still vaguely warm.An amazing bit of kit.If you want to be protected, buy this.

Fjällräven gear is excellent quality and this jacket lives up to that reputation. I’ve now used it for a couple of months in some really awful rain and it’s kept me completely dry. It breathes very well and is very light and packable.

Yet to wear it in the rain to see how waterproof it is. But looks good only slight criticism is the arm length is too long.I wonder if I should have had a small size.
