Nice Jacket. Nice & light. Lots of pockets. 6 on the outside. 2 on the inside. One open topped pocked and one zipped. The jacket feels very comfortable and light at the same time. Looking forwards to using this and comparing against my Barbour waxed cotton jacket which I also really like. The Barbour being for typical British wet & windy weather & the Fjallraven being for the cold wet weather. Let's see how it works. Well I've worn this jacket out in the North East of England surfing the recent bad weather. Absolutely topped it down. I remained warm and dry. The hood which I thought I'd never use worked well. It could do with a draw cord but it's not the end of the world.

I blow hot and cold about Fjallraven for the UK climate. The unlined polycotton jackets just leave you wet and miserable after steady rain. However,the addition of a fibre-pile lining to this one transforms its performance. The combination acts like a wicking system and you stay remarkably dry and warm even in prolonged rain as well as sweat free. Looks great and fits well too. Beware than Fjallraven have changed their sizing, so Greenland jackets are now true to normal sizer rather than one size too big, which they traditionally were.

Nothing to complain about except not being waterproof out of the box. It’s should have been waxed before shipping and if you need more protection you could repeat it.... I spent almost an hour to wax it...

This jacket delivers what it promises. Great quality, great fit and looks good too. A big outlay, granted, but will be a favourite for the next 5-10 years at least.
