An excellent baby pressure cooker. Perfect for cooking for upto two people. Or even for cooking a component to a larger meal such as mince for a bolognese, or lentils for haleem, or making your own gelatine! Yes, admittedly, I've done that.I've also made tinned dulce de leche from condensed milk. It takes a few hours but you're rewarded with a delicious smooth caramel with a little crunch from the formed sugar crystals - I've made the best banoffee pie with this caramel as well as caramel cupcakes, the recipe of which, has been requested countless times. This cooker is only made better by a great set of instructions - honestly, the best I've seen, and I've purchased cooking appliances for a good number of decades.AS A NOVICE:With the instructions, this set is good for a beginner as there's step by step instructions on your first foray in the realm of pressure cooking. Which some find very daunting - though it doesn't have to be as its extremely reliable and safe, especially with the accompanying manual. There's also a very useful troubleshooting chart which walks you through any issues you may face.Fissler offer a three year guarantee, a testament to their quality. I've had a very positive customer service experience with them in the past. I place it in the same league as the French brands, Le Creuset and Mauviel.AS A PROFESSIONAL:This is a heavy based, quality made pressure cooker made of 18/10 stainless steel, and suitable for all most heat sources.Easy to wash and maintain, as the handle is removable too. It has a fuss free twin pressure dial: choose between setting one: 110°C at 45 kPa operating pressure;Setting two: 116°C at 75 kPa operating pressure. The guide is only let down by the absence of a 'key' near the diagrams at the start of the manual. Instead, the parts labelled on the diagrams, are discussed in the corresponding instructions.A very well made heavyset 18/10 steel German made pressure cook from a reliable brand.

This Fissler Pressure Cooker is ideal for one to two people. It is great for a person who just needs to cook for themselves and then eat. The pressure cooker is quality and works on induction hobs as well.It builds up pressure quickly and will pressure cook lamb in 30 minutes; leaving it soft and tender, which just breaks up nicely. It is small so it does not take up much room in the kitchen cupboard. It also doesn't feel too heavy due to the size. it sits nicely on the hob medium rings and the colour coded pressure ring shows that it is at optimal pressure. It feels robust and it is easy to clean. It is hand wash only and therefore will last along time if looked after.I just hope extra parts will still be available after five years if the ring seals start to weaken after continuous usage.Good size pressure cooker for a couple or s singleton, pressure cooks meat, vegetables and also broth quickly. The result is great.

This is the first pressure cooker we have had in our household, and we have to admit it does a good job for us being absolute beginners.it comes with a thick and great instruction and user manual to teach you how to use the device and also gives you examples of food you can make with it including times, temperatures and what accessories you might need.It cooks food very well and is easy to use. It is a good size and can make food for 2 people if making a whole meal, including with the inset (which is not provided with all models) i would say due to being 2.5L. It is easy to clean and handle and is made of a premium steel material.Overall the Vitavit Comfort is a good pressure cooker.

This is a great pressure cooker. It’s very efficient. I used a Tower pressure cooker in the past and this Fissler is way quicker. At 2.5 litres it is ideal for small portions. It’s stainless steel. It’s not heavy to handle, clean and store. The instructions manual is clear and the cleaning instructions are easy to follow. Make sure you read the instructions manual to get the best use out of your pressure cooker.Yes, it’s very expensive but its a well made product, it’s not aluminium and it’s 2.5 litres, a size not easy to find in stainless steel pressure cookers. I love it so much I also have one in a larger capacity for cooking large portions. I highly recommend it.

This cook was new to pressure cookers but is now converted. This cooker though is mighty expensive for the pleasure and it's difficult to see why.It is solid and heavy, well made and easy to operate. It cooked some dahl in about 20 mins when a few hours of normal saucepan cooking had made little impact on the pulses - it was a particularly hardy dahl. Likewise on beef shin for a bit longer. It's a two person meal or a decent side for more.Pressure cookers great. This one any different?

This is my second Fissler, I love the fact that they are small and do not take a lot of room up in the cupboard when you only have a small kitchen.
