Bought this elsewhere and it worked very well until I broke the plastic pin which pops up to seal in steam. However I had another cooker almost identical without the pin safety device which needed a rubber gasket and the one with this cooker fits perfectly. BEWARE though, once the gasket wears out/breaks you can't buy a spare which is ridiculous. You have to buy another cooker. Come on Prestige this is not on!

I have had my stovetop prestige pressure cooker for many years. Great when you have a family but way to big now they have all moved on. The microwave pressure cooker is perfect for someone on there own or for a couple..Made a delicious beef stew, the meat was so tender. Looking forward to experimenting with lots of healthy recipes. So simple to use a decent meal made in no time.

Another item I got from Argos when I ordered my microwave from them as well. So happy with both items. This handy pressure cooker is lightweight and so easy to use. No big bulky metal pressure cooker, which I had for 35yrs and found so big to store!! This little gem IS a delight to cook with. Thoroughly recommend!! :-)))

This is the second one I have bought the first one a number of years ago and on occasions I need two. so quicker to do vegetable and the food keeps warm until you need it. Plus it is easier to wash / dishwasher than the original stainless steel prestige cookers.

For me it's about timing.I've found that if I let it run in the microwave until the indicator pops up,- and then start timing as in the book.A couple I've,adenotes against, and modified the timings to suit me.

Not a bad thing but not brilliant, so I wasn't too disappointed when it didn't work like all the videos I've been watching said it would, had to nearly double all timings.

I cannot comment at this time as to how well the microwave pressure cooker works so the rating is on its sturdy and compact appearance

I bought one of these about 5 years ago used it every day. I decided to buy this one as the old one was damaged.
