I have bought this pressure cooker more than a year ago, and I'm very happy with my purchase.I bought this one a few months after I bought a 6Lt pressure cooker of the same brand (WMF). I wanted to have more flexibility and cook less quantity as well. I have to say that this size cooker (4.5Lt) would suit better a 5-6 person meal rather than 3-4 people, but that's just a matter of size.Both cookers i bought (4.5Lt and 6Lt) have the same diameter so I'm storing one of the lids for later - if the lid I'm using gets damaged I can simple get the other one out of the cupboard.I mainly use it to cook brown rice (yummi!),

Having searched around comparing different Pressure Cookers, this WMF Perfect, while perhaps a little expensive, just oozes quality and doesn't have any of the fiddly loose bits that seem to come with other cookers. Its very easy to clean with the completely detachable handle and the replaceable parts do indeed seem easy to replace.While cooking, the device makes almost no sound, other than the initial hiss as some of the air is released while heating up. The simplicity of the round button popping up while the pressure builds up is really nice and makes much more sense to me than the usual nobs with two or three settings seen on other cookers.I went for this model in the end,

I decided to spend the bit extra and go for the good design in the right size - a medium capacity. The design turned out to be a part of the simplicity of the engineering; although the handle and gasket come apart, nothing else "drops" or "pops" out as with the other brand I have used.A very quick, smooth rise to full pressure, which means there is no panicking about sudden volcanoes of steam or worse. So fast that you need to stay around at the beginning to adjust the heat to its optimal level for the cooking period.I agree they could have provided some good basic recipes and I am now experimenting with liquid levels to avoid watery outcomes.But the machine is terrific and I would not hesitate

This is a really high quality product. It makes next to no noise except at the very start of cooking and if the pressure gets too high and it needs to "let off steam". It says you have to watch it when it's cooking, but in reality that just means ensuring the heat is turned down sufficiently to stop the pressure rising too high. I find that to keep the temperature and pressure at the correct setting, the gas almost needs to be turned off so it's saving on fuel bills. It works so well, that you can turn it off 5 minutes before it's finished and it'll still be at pressure when the food is done.It's worth every penny.

I love this product. Pricey but worth it. It took me a while to get the hang of it as the instructions could be clearer but easy to use once I did. This is a great size as I was finding my older one, which was deeper, too heavy when full. Overall very satisfied with the product as it is also made with great quality materials.

I use to have few others but none of them lasts like this one. Good German quality that is worth every penny. Saves you a time and money. Highly recommended

Excellent product. Bit more complicated than the old cooker but easy once mastered. Cooks beautifully.
