I bought this cooker to replace my Prestige pressure cooker, which finally gave up after 25 years service. I was going to replace it with another Prestige model, but recent reviews suggested that the quality is now a bit suspect. I then found ths one at half-price. They have since introduced an "Ultra" model with extra convenience features, hence the discount on this model. This cooker works a dream, with hardly a whisper from start to finish. I bought the smallest capacity model (3 litre), as I just use it to cook brown rice (@14 minutes). I could easily use it to cook meat and veg though. I would suuggest that this model is preferable oveer the basic model as it is so easy to observe the pressure control thoughout the cooking period.I don't think I would pay the full price,so get one of these while they last; they are brilliant!

I love this- a perfect size for making curries esp using large lentils / legumes such as chick peas. It has meant I have reduced use of tinned products. It has 3 pressure settings and as it does not release steam so it does not make a noise and you do not lose water. Cooking is done by time rather than number of whistles. On my induction I have a timer so once the pressure is reached I can put it for certain time and it will switch off like an instant cooker! The thick base is perfect for induction cooking. It can be expensive to maintain depending on how much you use it, as it needs replacement of internal sealing ring which is more expensive than other pressure cooker brands.

I was looking for a pressure cooker but could not decide which one i should buy. I bought WMF Perfect Plus Pressure Cooker after reading the reviews (4 months ago). I am very pleased with this purchase, i use a lot to cook all sort of dishes and very happy with the results - no mess, quite and easy to clean. Only down side is its an expensive but worth it. I also bought the glass lid which i found very useful to cover the pan for cooking and left overs. Its highly recomended.

This pressure cooker is beautiful and its volume is just right for cooking small amount of food. However it is not very secure and must be used very carefully. Although there is a pressure marker, nothing prevent the user to open it under pressure. The Seb pressure cookers, at least the old models, have a lock that prevents opening when the pressure is yet high. Unfortunately Seb cookers are all very large and useful when the food is prepared for at least 4-5 persons.

I bought the WMF perfect plus pressure cookers, both the 3.0ltr and 6.5ltr. Although far more expensive than my other whistle - type cookers, it is fantastic! Cooking time is reduced, and I can even cook pulses such as chick peas and pidgeon (gungo) peas with such ease and assurance that they will not remain hard! Well worth the investment. Just record the cooking time, to save on guess work next time. Wonderful, I have bought one for a present!

Modern cooker and good quality rubber ring around the lid. The 'button' going up and down indicates the pressure inside the pot and also helps with selecting the right pressure for cooking different foods to ensure they are not overcooked/not cooked enough. We've been using it a lot and not had any problems with it, it's great for soups and stews and saves a lot of time in the kitchen. Probably suitable for a couple or family of 3. A good buy!

Super quality product . Very heavy build , but with a pleasing fine finish .Three pressure settings , up to 18 psi . I thought it might be too small , but it's fine .The pan (lid removed ) is a good 9cm. deep and 22cm. wide . Steam control in the handle is rather clever IMO .

Bought it as a present for daughter as she wanted a compact size. This one just meets that requirement. I can not say much about the how it performs except she has found it very useful.
