Many years ago, EA changed the way we played football on a computer/console. FIFA after 2002 edition things changed again, the removal of pinpoint passing and pinpoint keystrokes spoiled a perfect game. FIFA World Cup is great improvemet over the current FIFA 06, Clubs arent here because its a World Cup Edition, but whats here is very tasty. The menu system has been improved its still isnt fast enough, but colourful enough. The loading times have been improved by about 1%, but the Single Player games are second to none great graphics, textured pitches, shadowing from the closed stadiums, but... There is the problem of game still isnt as fluid as it used to be , passing isnt as accurate,

Let me tell you the truth right from the beginning: ball physics, threedimensionality, spectator cheering, and spectator bitmaps are poor compared to Winning Eleven 9 = Pro Evolution Soccer 5. Due to the fact that the shades are weak or missing, it's often difficult to see whether a ball went above the goal, next to the goal, or into the goal. The poor animation of the goal net does not help either.However, the game also has a number of strong points: First, the sheer number of sides (127 countries), second, the good commentary (even though it takes some time for them to react to a goal), third, the anthems of important (in terms of football, that is) countries are played at the beginning of the match,

I was wondering whether to get this or pro evolution 5 for the psp. I decided to go with this game as pro evolution does not have any career mode, only friendly matches!The game is really fun and really addictive. It takes some time getting used to at the start which will result in you losing to very easy teams, but with a bit of practise its pretty easy to score. Infact, the game arrived today and i won the world cup with England without too much trouble, i will try the harder settings next.The graphics arnt great but they are acceptable. I'd say that for a handheld console they are relatively good. Sometimes annoying shadows from the stadium block the ball out a bit,

This really is a very good game. The main selling point is the gameplay, which at first seems to difficult to master, but this is because it is actually more realistic than any other football game i've played. You can't just dribble around an entire team and score each time, even in the easiest mode, which sometimes is a little frustrating, but goals are more rewarding and realistic. To unlock a defence, you need to use clever through balls or attack down the flanks, because beating a defender one-on-one is difficult. There is a decent amount of challenges, etc. after you've won the world cup, and I would definitley recommend this game to any football fan.

This is the 3rd fifa game for the psp, and each one is better than the last. This game is much more enjoyable than the previous two, the game play is much smoother, the commentary is much better and the controls are more responsive. I still think though that pro evo 5 is a long way ahead of fifa in all areas, but this game is well worth the money.

wow..i was looking forwad to this game. it looks amazing with its amazing graphics and it has descent gameplay and good modes BUT as i said it has descent gameplay its not great. pro evo has excellent evrything thats why i am still stciking to the pro evo series

When I first got this I was Optimistic but after playing it keeps suprising me with depth especially wobbly legs I let it go to pens just to do that
