The rack is very robust and well made in terms of materials, all the fixings are good quality. The problem is that the metal tubular frame is bent to form the individual pieces and the slightest deviation from the requirements result in the top two arms not being bent correctly and also the bottom two sections that go on the bottom of the door (which come riveted together) not being bent correctly. This results in the rack not fitting correctly and allowing the two bottom brackets to scrape on the rear bumper. These lower brackets also have a pre-drilled hole in which is not used according to the instructions BUT is obviously there because of this problem!!
