I love this pencil. It's much dearer than I'd normally pay, but hopefully I'll not have to replace it!I was disappointed with how it was packaged. The external packaging was fine, however I expected the pencil to be on a card or in some sort of package. It was in a plastic bag. I can't accuse the seller or misrepresentation, because he/she hadn't misled me, but I just expected some sort of packaging to indicate that it was "new" I suppose.

I use pencils a lot for annotating text books and jotting musings down in notebooks.Being a mechanical pencil means I don't need to keep sharping it every five minutes. A lot of mechanical pencils I've tried have been flimsly in that the lead broke frequently, not so with this number all during the three or four months I used it.The rubber on the top works well and doesn't fall out like those on cheap pens.

I've been trying to find a good mechanical pencil for years and now I've found one.Until now I've had a love-hate relationship with mechanical pencils because, although you don't have to sharpen them, the leads tend to break every few minutes. The lead in the Faber-Castell pencils hardly ever breaks and the writing quality is superb. These pencils are a joy to use and I'd recommend them to anyone.

From the point of view of a pencil Conniseur(!)this pencil is the bees knees!If like me you get excited about using a pencil then this is the one for you!!I use this pencil every day for work and it feels good to hold and doesn't put pressure on your fingerIt writes smoothlyI love everything about this pencil!Highly Recommended

Bought this for my dyspraxic son, who used to waste time sharpening his usual triangular pencil - avoiding work, his teaching assistant thought it was superb. Quality is great, really pleased with my purchase, so much so I bought another for my other son, love the fact they come in lots of colours.

Wanted comfortable pencil with smooth flow to write with.Particularly needed a dark impression (had been using 4b wooden pencil), as I'm visually impaired and want a bold impression, hence 0.7mm.Bought 2B faber caster lead. OK but would prefer darker.

Really like the pencil, but I was expecting it to at least come in packaging. Not a major issue but I did plan on giving as part of a gift and it doesn’t look great. So I’m keeping it as it is a really nice pencil. Feels really nice when using it.

I love this pencil, its a bit lighter than I was expecting when I purchased it since its plastic with the exception of the clip.The slightly thicker lead makes a huge difference in that its not prone to breaking as often as the more normal 0.5

I bought this to match the pen. Great set. Super grip. Very smart, good looking. Easy and comfortable to write with. Some metal pencils slide through your fingers this doesn't. See my review of matching pen

This mechanical pencil is the quality that you'd expect from Faber-Castell, strong, dependable and long lasting, this is a must buy if you want a top quality draw, from you mechanical pencil.

Fast Delivery for a quality item, what one would expect from Faber, the only downside one has to purchase the actual lead refill separately, normally would be included with purchase.

Having bought the "sister" ballpoint pen, buying this was a "no brainer". Works well, feels good and is excellent value for money. Recommended.

I like the triangular shape with built in nobs help the hand keep hold of the pencil which makes or a more comfortable writing experience.
