The following mechanical pencil has nice large chunky triangular grip with rubber dots- as a result it less likely to slip and feels comfortable to hold for a long time. I've used this pencil mainly to draw various graphs and the precision is great. Another neat feature is eraser under the cap which by rotation can be extended to desirable length and replacements are available in some stationary shops. The colour appears to be lighter in real life than on the picture but pretty close though would prefer it slightly darker.I also draw as a hobby and have tried this pencil but would recommend to look for alternatives if you were thinking of using it for art...Overall nice mechanical pencil+comfortable

Lovely to use. I spent agents trying to find a pencil that spare rubbers could be purchased for. I use my pencil for Suduko and do a great deal of rubbing out of possible solutions before finding the right number to place in a box. Until finding this pencil I kept buying packs of pencils with decent rubbers on top and then discarding the pencil when there was no rubber left. The rubber that came with the pencil is beautifully soft and is still yet to be replaced despite being in use for much longer than any other pencil top rubber I have had. I bought a packed replacement rubbers at the same time.

I bought this by mistake when I meant to order the pen version. I am delighted to report that it is now my pencil of choice when out at music rehearsals as I can always see it and remember to pick it up! Like the rest of the range it is sturdy but light and a pleasure to write with.

This is my third purchase of this pencil, the others were for my children. Like the quality and the colour variety. Recommend this its comfortable to write with.

i'm a sucker for good writing utensils, and this costs way too much money, yet I still bought, shame on me, but its still a nice pencil and I'm glad i have it.

This is my third mechanical pencil of Faber-Castell. It works perfectly, has a nice grip, and the colour is nicer in person (more pinkish than violet).
