I was going to book myself into a salon to have my eyelashes tinted as I dont want to wear mascara on holiday when swimming and get panda eyes. However I remembered my one and only time I had had it done before...the girl leant over me, breathing in my face, kept getting it in my eye (Stings like crazy!) and didnt get all my lashes. Saw good reviews for this and being the perfectionist I am, tried it. Excellent choice!Top Lashes Method: One eye at a time. I got a cotton bud and smoothed vaseline along upper and lower lids (as close to roots but not on any lashes). Mixed the dye to correct consistency. Used the mascara wand for the underneath of the top lashes, but for the top and roots I used a very small paintbrush.Coats the lashes much better than the wand. If any gets on the vaselined skin it comes off very easily. I used a cotton bud.Bottom Lashes Method: Using one of the eye protectors provided in the box, I held it horizotally, ensuring I had tucked it under my lower lashes and lifted it slightly until the edge of the paper sits at the roots. Using the paintbrush, gently 'paint' the lashes until well covered.I tried closing my eyes as instructed, but that was the only time it stung! So left my eye open. The sting is like a chopping onions kind of sting...Dampened a cotton pad after 10 minutes and wiped downwards. Lashes looked fab. Bottom lashes are harder to pick up the dye as they're so fine, so I am going to try a second attempt just because I want to see if I can get a more dramatic look, although they are much darker than my natural fair colour.I cant comment on how long it lasts as I only did it a few days ago. But considering the cost of a salon treatment to this, which Im sure will give me at least 5 applications...definitely worth it!

Ok ok so it doesn’t last as long as it’s meant to but coming from someone who’s tried all the henna tints and much more expensive brow dye products this is the one I keep coming back to!Some of the dyes I tried made my brows look like hairy caterpillars.. yes I know that’s all the rage right now but not for me!This is easy to use, faff free, doesn’t turn your brows purple (yes I’ve had that joy!) straightforward and a good price. Not without fault it could do with lasting a bit longer (try leaving it on as long as poss but don’t quote me on this.. don’t want anyone suing me because their eyebrows look a bit dodgy!) but for the ease of doing it yourself and not having to go to a beauty salon where you’ll be asked where you’ve been in holiday, what you do for a living and oh that’s another favourite.. what’s happening on the latest ‘celebrity’ reality show..So for that alone it’s a tick from me!Lost one star just for not staying on as long as stated but only a minor fault ?

So easy to use with brilliant results! I wish I’d have tried this years ago but thought I’d totally mess it up. I have fair eyebrows and lashes and always pay £15 to get them done but like everyone else-that’s not an option right now.I mixed the dye as instructed (the 1cm cream & 3 drops mentioned for a patch test was plenty for my brows) and used the same thin angled brush I use to fill them in with eyebrow make up in the morning!Checked at 5mins by using a cotton bud to take the dye off of a small section at the front. I was worried I’d look like Morticia but it was quite light. So filled the little section again and waited 5 mins. Easy!Once done I used the same qty of the black and the supplied mascara brush to do my lashes.I used a small amount to brush on (no huge blobs) and didn’t wiggle into the roots. So no stinging accidents or mistakes!See my before and after - I have only tinted moisturiser in the 2nd pic ?So happy and more confident without makeup ?

I have naturally blonde hair but dye it black so my my eye fur no longer matches. I used to go to a salon to get them dyed but as the credit crunch is upon us, I can no longer afford that. I also had problems with the salon changing the people that dyed them as they didn't pay enough attention and at one point had to walk out with black patches around my eyebrows! So, I decided to invest in something I could do myself. I'm a little bit of a perfectionist and good with hair dye so I assumed this would be just as easy. To my surprise, it was easier. You only need a small amount to get the desired results so it lasts for a long time which saves you even more money. It is easy to use and not too messy but make sure you read the instructions fully and use the appropriate protections for your skin and clothes.Well worth buying! I will never use anything or anywhere else now.One last thing, ALWAYS DO A PATCH TEST, even if you have used it before as you just never know.

I was so pleased to see the recent reviews on this as I was a long term user years ago but they disappeared out the shops and went up in price anywhere I seen it. I also seen that ppl said the formula had changed and wernt happy with it. Well I tried it, and it's just like the old days again ha! Same consistency, performance, easy to use, no messing about. I'm verrrry fair in the brow department but as you can see, one application after 10 mins, wipe off with wet wipe, haply days, albeit a little skin stain which makes them look more prominent, I don't mind tho. I'll probably do another application to darken them and save time with pencil. Happy days!Oh and used on my lashes very carefully too.Wasn't expecting such a good result. My tip for lashes is to be genorous with the cream. Apply with tip end swooping across but very carefully, so it clumps Slightly and rub across ends of lashes. Try not to bother so close to eyelid as you may harm your eyes. :)

Darkens eyelashes/brows by several shades, just as it says it does.EASE OF USE: The instructions for use are clear and easy to understand - preparing the dye is simple. When I used it the second time I didn't use the under eye protector provided, as I found them a bit cumbersome and not that easy to stick down, so I just surrounded the eye/eyebrow with Vaseline and applied like mascara/eyebrow gel - this way it is no more difficult or time-consuming than applying a normal mascara, though you have to be fairly careful.PRODUCT: If any of the dye gets on to the skin which is covered with vaseline it wipes straight off, so as long as no product gets into the eye itself there is no problem.I didn't notice the dye smelling unpleasant.RESULTS: Lashes and brows are several shades darker, though no thicker or glossier. Produces a very natural look, but overall I now look better without having to apply any makeup. No miracles, but a great product!!

I love it! I used to have my brows tinted in a salon... but payed the price of one box for one application! I suspect the product they used was pretty similar because the result of this product is very similar to what I had done in the salon and it lasts about the same time. Now I can do it myself for a much cheaper price tag! Also allows me to touch it up more often if needs be when it used to be a “treat” to have it done in the salon once a month.Oh and I got confused when first trying to do the allergy patch test, but it does take a little while to mix properly! I was scared I did something wrong but after checking videos of people using it, I could see it was normal! Application needs to be precise, especially with thinner angled brows like mine, so the first time was a little tricky, but I got the hang of it now! Love that I can just tint my brows twice a month instead of using makeup to fill them in every day! Highly recommend!

I have to say, I was a bit timorous about using at home dye kits on my face! But with Covid i have become complacent about going for my regular eyebrow wax and tint. Thought I would give this a go, and was fully prepared for bad results. But hey! I am amazed at how well this product works and how easy it is to use! The whole thing only took about 12 minutes including prep and finishing touches. It’s non-stinging on my skin and really leaves your brows defined.I’m quite proud of myself. Pro-tip: I left the tweezing and tidying of my brows until after I had tinted them… makes it easier to see how to shape them. Also used some bio-oil on a cotton ball to exfoliate the excess dye from the skin.I am a dark brunette and chose black.. however think brown would be better. Trial and error, but have to say… not much error here. Great value for money and no mess. 10/10 will use from now on when I’m too lazy to use my free time at the salon.

For the longest time now, I have pondered about getting my eyebrows tinted at a beauty salon, but I couldn't quite fathom paying £10 everytime I wanted to get them done so I took the plunge into doing them myself. It was completely the right decision. The product is so simple and easy to use, and not really messy at all. It comes with everything one would need to carry out the dying process. I have dark brown eyebrows that are more sparse than I'd like and this worked a treat in making them appear fuller and more prominent on my face, without being too dark. The only issue I find is that it doesn't seem to last up to 45 days as advertised, for me it only lasted properly for around 2 weeks and now after 4 weeks there is only a slight tint of it left on my brows. However it's also advertised for up to 12 applications and I've already used it twice and I can definitely see it lasting more than 12 times for me at least.

Bought this as my eyebrows, although a full natural shape, were getting some noticeably lighter coloured hairs in there. Squeezed 1cm of the tube cream into the tray well, added 3 drops of the activator and mixed it really well. It turned into a grey coloured gel. Applied to eyebrows first using the rather clumsy wand that came with it. Then I applied the remaining mix to my eyelashes. I waited 10 mins. During which time the insipid grey morphed into a kick-ass inky black colour. At this point I was regretting not applying a barrier cream underneath my brow or around my eye ? Wiped it off with a damp cotton pad and wow! instantly dark brows and lashes.Yes I know it’s not meant for lashes but it dyed them so ??‍♀️ Something I’m going to try next time is use a thin eyeliner brush to paint the gel onto the lashes and draw an eyeliner type line on the upper lid ?

What a relief to find this is the same trusted product under new naming ("EyeBROW dye", no longer called eyeLASH dye because of stupid EU rules). I have used this for over 20 years to dye my lashes, always reliable, easy to do, great long lasting colour. I thought I'd accidentally bought the wrong thing last time until I read about this enforced change of packaging. I am relieved to know that Eylure hasn't changed its formula, and it is as good as it always has been. It's always sensible to do a patch test for any dye product, but all this nonsense about "you can't use it on your lashes" is plainly from someone who either hasn't used the product or who believes any official scare story.Use it sensibly as directed (put it on with brush, try not to get it in your eye and if you do, use water or eye wash at end) and enjoy the great results.

Easy to use and great results. I leave it on for much longer than the recommended time as, when I followed the instructions, I barely say a change. My eyebrows are naturally medium brown so it may be worth trying the recommended time if yours are lighter or you dont want them too dark.Been using for a few years now for around half an hour at the time and my eyebrows haven't dissolved yet. Always be careful though, as everyone is different. Not sure why anyone would bother getting this done professionally when this is around the same price but for multiple tints and so easy to do.Don't mix loads of it before applying as you can always mix more if you don't have enough.I don't rinse the mix out of the plastic bit until I'm happy with my eyebrow colour, in case I need to add more and I've just washed it down the sink.

I usually have my eyebrows microbladed but due to the pandemic I have been unable to get an appointment and was tired of having to fill them in every day where they had faded. I was a little apprehensive as I’ve never dyed my own eyebrows before! You are meant to mix the dye and activator together to form a paste, this does take quite a while for some reason but once it’s done, it’s simple to use. Doesn’t stick to skin and happy with the results! The first tome I did them I left it on for 10 mins as per the instructions but it just wasn’t enough so I did it again and left it on for 30 mins and that was just perfect! One tip though, wait until your brows have developed and you’re happy with them before throwing away the mixture as I’ve done this twice now realising I’d missed a bit and had to mix up more!

My eyebrows are incredibly pale to the point of translucency (I have been asked before if I shave them off. I don't). Because of this, eyebrow dye is incredibly useful if I don't feel like drawing them on every day. This dye to relatvely easy to apply and doesn't generally stain the skin unless you keep it on for a really long time. It come off the face after a few washes though. One thing to note with the black is that for a day or two after you apply it your brows look almost at blue/purple black, but that fades to a more natural black after then. The colour it gives to the brows lasts about 3 weeks while gradually fading. I generally try to do mine every month or so, and a pack of the dye will last about a year, which makes it money well spent in my opinion.

I am a great fan of Dylash Mascara, it's meant to colour eyelashes as well as eyebrows. I use it mainly for my eyebrows and what a difference it makes to the eyes, whenever I run out, I have to go to the beauty salon to colour my eyebrows -they are somewhat sparse due to heavy plucking - don't pluck inside the eyebrows, they will not grow back very quickly. So, when I placed an order for other items from Amazon, I thought I would get the Dylash at the same time. The other stuff was here within a couple of days, but the Dylash took too long to arrive and as I don't live in the UK, the postage cost almost three times as much as the item. However, it will last for a few months yet,and I can save money by colouring my eyebrows at home!
