The mug didn't keep the heat and quite the opposite - you could actually burn your if you filled it with boiling water - the metal outside of the mug got really hot as if the vacuum was faulty. Bought it elsewhere for under £20 because Amazon was much more expensive. Returned it the same week it arrived. So disappointed because the design of it is really stunning.

its 500ml not 1l, i was a bit surprised by its size & now i see why. finally used it on a car trip just yesterday. much to my surprise milky coffee is now all over my clothes & car upholstery. there is subtle damage around the top & it no longer seals. it was dark so it took me a while to catch on - what a mess. i expect this is sorted without delay.
