After years of cobbling together old vacuum tubes to use for dust extraction, decided to get the proper Bosch hose - part number 2600793009 for my new Bosch GDA280E sander. I’ll only be using it for light sanding of paintwork between coats, so want to connect to a Henry vacuum. For the Henry end of the hose, I found this Europart Universal Plastic Adapter Tool 32-35mm. The longer, smaller diameter connector of the Bosch hose is really designed to fit a Bosch GAS type extractor, but it has a rubber O ring nearest to the hose, making it just over 35mm diameter and, with some pressure, will tightly fit into the adapter. The 32mm end of the adapter will then fit into the Henry hose or one of the metal extension tubes.

Bought new Vax cleaner with overly soft brush furniture tool not as good as the stiffer brush from old Hoover unit however due to different diam of tools searched for stiffer brush hand tool none of which convinced me would be any better than tool supplied with new Vax unit so eventually found an adapter 32/35 on Amazon which would enable me to use the old Hoover brush tool on the new Vax flex tube.Initially It was too loose but after wrapping x1x a silver duct tape around same a perfect fit achieved and yes the old brush now picking up dog hair intertwined on throw cover on suite . Just a perfect nuisance having different diams of tools for different makes of vacs but this solved my

So pleased as the replacement parts for the hoover head and pipe were almost as much as a brand new one, but by buying a universal hoover head and pipe and then getting this adaptor we saved so much money, and it fits. Our model was a Vax Pick up Pet so I think this converts some Vax models to universal models!

It seems pretty robust and it certainly does the job it's designed for, enabling me to restore a 35-year-old vacuum cleaner to great working order. My local hardware store wanted over 18 pounds for an adapter to do the same job. Just over 3 pounds from amazon. Good deal.

After a wrong choice with another adaptor I find this is the one!Now I can fit my old Dyson car tool set to my new Miele cylinder vac.One star deducted because the plastic feels a bit brittle and insubstantial, still, you gets wot you pays for.Happy is me!

The item itself is good and cheap, seems very sturdy. However I had hoped it might allow me to use a shark tool on a henry but sadly no. Not the fault of the item though just my lack of knowledge of vacuum attachments!

Bought this after purchasing some spare "universal fit" tools.This adapter actually allows the same to be easily used with a Miele cylinder hoover. Solid plastic & fits well. very pleased.

Very handy adapter, it connected my Samsung vacuum to brush tools made for a.... Henry... a Hetty or something like that, there was definitely an 'H' in there somewhere

My old Dyson car accessory set included an adaptor for standard hovers with 32mm hose. This allows me to use it with my Miele C3 vacuum cleaner (35mm).

I got it for a Samsung hoover so I can use universal fittings. What can I say other than it works! Ace!
