The picture does not do this product justice, it is a rich and full bodied red which is beautiful. It looks far more expensive than its price tag. I've just started learning and I find it a pleasure to be learning on this, its comfortable and just great for beginners. The accompanying items are also great, the bag isn't the best but far better than I'd expected while the guitar strap is actually a bit of disappointment. I haven't any confidence in it holding this lovely guitar so its worth investing in a better one. The likelihood is though that'll be sitting to learn for a long time before needing the strap. The stand and cables are great also but the amp is very small but totally adequate initially for a beginner.The only real problem I had was the delivery of this product.

I bought one of these cherry red Encore E69's because it was reduced price, practically pocket money, and still new and boxed. I gave it a good look over first and found it looked well made, certainly nicely finished. A quick mobile internet check revealed the body to be solid tone wood, namely Linden, which was a big plus point and one of the reasons this found its way into my trolley. Further inspection at home revealed what I consider to be construction standards as good as any. Nice tuners, adjustable bridge and a lovely straight mahogany neck. All in all I was delighted with this guitar BUT I never expect the electrics to be up to much,

I bought this kit as a crimbo present to myself this year, (2011), and would recommend this to anyone wishing to take up the instrument As previous reviewers have noted, the guitar is stunning and does look way more expensive that it is, anyone taking a quick glance would think it was a genuine Gibson SG, and not a 'copy', I love it!!!The bag is ok, but if you do plan to travel with it, (especially to a tutors), I would look to get a good padded gig bag.The tuner is easy to use, but it should be remembered that it'll take a little while for the strings to settle down, but its a good habit to tune the guitar every time you pick it up.The amp is good for its size and has a nice sound,

i ordered this guitar package for my sister who is just starting to learning to play, she has an accoustic jumbo and was finding it difficult to get her arm over the instrument,i have played guitar for more years than i care to remember and have a fender telecaster and a stratocaster so i let her have a play on my strat and she found this a lot more comfortable,now to the encore package, for the money payed an absolute bargain i'm not going to compare it to the fenders this would be unfair but as a first guitar this is excellent, build quality is very good the amp is fine and everything else that comes with the package is extraordinary value, anyone with a youngster wanting to learn guitar this is the package no problem!

Very pleased with this product. The guitar looks like it cost more to £600 by looking at it, pretty heavy and very well made, looks Brilliant for any Electric Guitar player, or band member.You have to tune the guitar and mess around with the Amp settings, but after you have done that, you should get it sounding GREAT, like i did, The Tuner will help you tune your guitar its really simple.10/10 from me and 5 *****MANY THANKS.

Bought this for my son's Christmas present. It arrived on time and he was happy with the guitar BUT the amp did not work. Big disappointment. Sent an email on 26th December, the courier picked up the faulty product on 28th December (1st working day) and the replacement arrived on 29th December. It worked. Happy son, happy Dad as it was painless to return and so quick to replace. The noise is very irritating though, should have bought him an origami set.The quality of the guitar seems perfectly OK and it does look beautiful in Cherry Red. The stand is sturdy and the case is a fairly standard nylon bag. The other bits and pieces are just nice to have.

this very light guitar is amazing its got 3-way tone control on the guitar and a 4-way tone control on the amp and 2 volume controlsthe 10w amp or so they say is very good but with mine it came with a 20w ampthe stand is brilthe DVD is good but not as good as actural lessons the bag is excellent with room for the (10w) amp good strap a very easy to use guitar tuner and a very long lead the guitar has tones for you metal lovers the blue lovers classic lovers and rock lovers its just brilliant the fretboard is lovely rosewood to be precise and all in all a superb guitarMUST BUY OR YOUR REGRET IT

I spent a lot of time looking for a beginner's guitar as my 11yr old daughter was keen on having her own.I visited few music stores and read many on line reviews, and finally crossing my fingers ordered this one.It did arrive in time and from the time the packet was opened till now it is just the right choice.It is quite sturdy yet light enough for my daughter to play comfortably.....Now I too started enjoy playing it.Definitely recommended without doubt.

Bought this guitar for myself as I want to learn something new, the guitar itself is very nice and the auto tuner helps tunning the strings very well. The amp was very much smaller than I was expecting but I guess it does the job till I buy a better one. All items were there except from the plectrum (pick) which is a bit of a pain as I have had to buy some now. I can't give 5 stars due to no pick.

Very good value introduction instrument. Delivered on time. Tuner not the best, and the amp,I suspect will soon have its limitations exposed, but as a starter kit it seems to be a very good buy. I got my son (who knows his stuff with electric guitars) to try it out. It sounded very good, and he seemed impressed - so thats good enough for me.

Purchased this guitar on-line and it took less time to deliver than stated. Came packaged very well and was in perfect condition. Works beautifully and the sounds is really good. Would recommended this as a great first guitar for any budding guitarist. Solid manufacture and great value for money.

my son has started guitar lessons and was pleased with the style, colour and sound of this kit, uses the amp for his ipod as well.The auto tuner is a bit dodgy and may have to send that off for inspection as it fails to register sound at all somtimes but other than that is a really good buy.

I bought this for my 12 yr old son and it is the BEST value for money. The guitar is a lovely looking instrument and everything else is really great, especially for a beginner like my son. I would recommend this to anyone thinking of buying a guitar.

Very happy with this purchase. I have since started guitar lessons and my tutor said how good the guitar is, especially for the price.The bundle is good value.My tutor also recommended I buy the Boss Tuner TU-80, which is very worthwhile.

This definately lived up to expectation following the good feedback from other purchasers.My son is over the moon with it and it looks fantastic.Bit of buzzing if the amp is up too high but overall an excellent buy.Enjoy !
