Well for a start, I thought that it would be a red gloss finish, but I was amazed that it is, in fact, metalic red. It didn't come with a gig bag or anything other than a lead and an allen key. It is such a beautiful looker. I put it in one of my own gig bags after it arrived to keep it clean. When I opened the zipper on the bag and saw the metalic red and the chrome, it reminded me of a sports car in a garage...beautiful and easily the best guitar I've ever owned. The minor adjustment was that the neck was sliglty bowed downwards and the strings buzzed. I adjusted it to straight and it's such a beautiful sound and playability is smooth. The action is spot on and the colour of the fretboard wood just tops it off.

I bought this left-handed guitar for two reasons: one, I have 3 right-handed Chord Strats and two Chord Telecasters. I think they are superb for the price, As I am a Hendrix fan, and fed up of the poor imitations of a ‘Hendrix Model’ Strat, I decided to do the direct opposite of what Hendrix did, by stringing a left-handed Strat upside down (switching the nut was easy) and repositioning the strap post to the opposite horn. Viola, a proper tribute to a Hendrix Strat (for right handers) using a Chord.

For the price, this is a good guitar for the novice and intermediate player. It looks and feels good. The standard of affordable guitars has come on a lot recently, and this guitar is certainly one of the new breed.It's guitars like this that will have to make the big boys think again about their idea of affordable guitars. Rock on Chord.

Nice guitar for the money and well made ! May up grade the pickups and new strings but otherwise very nice played well straight out of the box ! No sharp frets ,action low , and all working as it should do ! And a nice colour better than the old tobacco sunburst !

Good looking guitar for the price needs some small upgrades like three plye scratch plate tunners etc.... Maybe better pickups as there is some buzz... Or some copper shielding but for the price it's an okay Guitar.
