This is a great first guitar for children, aged 7 to 10. It is a three quarter size, so after about 10 years old their hands will be big enough for a full-size guitar and before 7 they may struggle to lift it!This is a proper instrument not a children's toy. The body is well crafted, the pickups are responsive, and the sound is also very good. We put ours through an Orange Micro crush CR3- also from Amazon- and both arrived a few days after we ordered them.If your kid has an interest in rock, this might be the thing to keep them away from processed pop and get them on the road that leads to Stairway to Heaven and beyond.

Bought this as a present for my son who has now mastered the basics of the acoustic and wanted an electric to play around with after playing a bit with his Dad's Telecaster! This Stagg is just the right size for smaller hands and the narrower fretboard helps too and the youngsters don't get as frustrated. Plugged it in to my Peavey stack to have a try out before wrapping etc and the sound absolutely blew me away. Really no right to sound that good for under a £100! Nice low action, I did replace the strings with some softer Rotosound Gold's that aren't as tough on the fingers. Good value, good delivery.

Very good price for a very good guitar!It's a really nice colour, well finished and well packaged. There were two layers of packaging on the scratch plate to protect it. It has a very trancey sound when plugged in and the vibrato bar is extremely sensitive, only a tap is needed! I would definitely recommend it for being a high quality guitar and great value. It's ideal if, like me, most guitars are too big for you.Don't look elsewhere, this is seriously good.

Bought this for my 15 year old daughter who is left handed, like her Dad. I am now officially the best dad in the world..!!! Also, means that I get my left handed Stagg Electro-Acoustic back. Merry Xmas everyone
