I was pleased with the outcome of using this item. the butter container is not airtight but it is easy to use, clean and I like being able to check the butter is not 'sweating' too much in the cupboard. i prefer not to put butter in the fridge and this is great to use in the fridge or in a dark corner of the kitchen or a cupboard.

I didn’t want a ceramic or glass butter dish because I find them too fragile. One knock on my quartz worktop and they break. This little dish is perfect and although I couldn’t find anything to say it can go in the dishwasher I put it in and it came out sparkling. Very pleased!

Fits easily in the top shelve of the Fridge Door, and takes a normal 200/250g size butter pack.The lid could be a better fit, but I'm being picky, as it does what it's supposed to do and that is cover the butter.

I had one of these before but sadly dropped it on my ceramic tiles and broke a corner of the lid although I had had it for a number of years. A half pound of butter fits perfectly. I am very happy with the design.
