I was sceptical about this lip liner before I tried it, but despite my misgivings, I love it.The colour is perfect for use with a lighter nude colour or just with some tinted lip balm/gloss as it is a really natural shade, which brings out the shape of my lips (which can become a little invisible without a little help. and just the line helps to make my lips look fuller than they did before. However, the claims are for actual plumping and I don't know which of the many ingredients are designed to do this, but I know that other lip plumping products give me a familiar fizz on my lips as they work and this lip liner gives my lips that familiar tingle - so there is something actively working on my lips.

The reason why I really like this Elizabeth Arden Lip Liner is the fact I can get a much better pout on top lip using it. When you get to a certain age lips tend to be a bit of an issue. Feathering, bleeding lipstick in outer corners and not forgetting those lines that appear on lips giving a more aged look. This lip liner a godsend for me. It didn’t give me pumped up lips but a more defined pout. A slight tingle when applying it to lips but nothing that shockingly noticeable. The nude shade makes for using paler coloured lipstick an easier experience I found. I could draw on my top lip easy and it stayed on the pale colour and made a nice defined outline to then apply lipstick to.

This is a well made and smooth textured lip liner provided you don't take the hype about 'lip plumping' too seriously. If you use what is, after all, just a lip pencil you won't achieve any increase in the size, but with careful application you can make the most of your lips and give the illusion of fullness. For me, the best thing about this liner is the sharp and precise shape you can make around the outline of the mouth which does make sure your lips are not lost. Then if you want a more subtle effect you can use the other end (which is a single piece of flexible rubber) to tone down and soften the effect-this is quite easy to do as this liner (01 NUDE shade)

The texture is a little dry, but with these it seems less is more. If you're happy with the colour, I personally don't use nude that much, but for other pencil liners I overlain my top lip then fill with matte lip paint.Personally I don't find the rubber end much use, but the liner itself is sharp, non-waxy and precise. When lining my bottom lip, i normally apply a tiny bit of skin tone-matching foundation under the lip line - this smoothes out the edge and makes it look less of a pencil line.The quality and texture is noticeably better than high street products, this I have noticed having being able to test a few Elizabeth Arden products, The colour isn't for me, but if it was,

Having a defined outline to my lips makes me look properly ready for anything, even if my lipstick itself fades, or is rubbed away. The use of a liner also stops seeping through of the actual lipstick into any fine lines around the lips. The Nude 01 colour is ideal for me, as I don't like too bright a shade. It is a deep pink beige colour. The pencil sharpens well with a conventional sharpener. The tool at the other end of the pencil does help to blend the liner into a softer look. Quite an expensive item, but Elizabeth Arden is a name to trust and this will last a good long time.

This product is a nude shade, so if you have a light skin it can be used to extend the lip line a little or even it up. It's soft and goes on easily and there is a blend stick at the other end of the product.Product claims to be plumping, didn't notice that effect and it was a blessing not to have it causing lip swelling!Down side is that the product is that its encased in plastic and has no twist up device, it needs sharpening.Contains more than 17 ingredients plus colours, don't know what they all are, although there are a lot of waxes.

I love the creamy texture and the effortlessness of gliding it along my lips, whereby it doesn't pull or stab my skin. The nude shade I received is perfect and can also be worn as a lipstick or a base coat if you coat your entire lips with it. I like the smudger on the other end of the pencil too as it helps sharpen lines and also blend them so that it avoids the more severe look which can be associated with wearing lipliner.

Gorgeous. Very soft, smooth and well pigmented, this is a great choice for lining lips.I found it really easy to apply, and blot, and then it lasted well.I really liked this - I even used it as a complete lip colour by applying her the whole lip before blotting....a very long lasting lip colour ( pop a bit of gloss on over the top for extra 'wow').Stunning. Great value.

This is a pretty effective lipliner.It feels nice, is relatively easy to apply, and is soft on the skin. Once applied, it felt pretty comfortable which was nice as some other lip plumpers can cause stinging but there was nothing like that with this. The lips look good, but I would not say any plumper really, just a nice smooth colour.

I loved the natural look of this Nude lip liner; loved the smooth way it went on and the way it defined my lips and stopped my lipstick bleeding.What I didn't love was the way it plumped my lips,because it didn't, not at all,and I also didn't love the price,which was a bit steep.So 4 stars from me,it's nice but not amazing.

This is a lovely nude/ pink lip liner. I Can's say that my lips look plumper as there isn't anything in this pencil that would actually cause plumping. It has a funny spatula end which I suppose is to blend in the liner? no idea. All i can say is this is a soft but lovely coloured liner which i like!

wow this is brilliant i have always used a lip liner as standard. but this one really does plump up your lips it looks great it goes on easily no dragging and stays on all night colour is perfect as shown in the picture. is a lil expensive but worth paying out for. i love it

The colour of this is the perfect nude for me. I am a red head and very pale colours wash me out. I would definitely say this has a hint of coral but overall it is a lovely warm pink shade. The texture is nice and not drying at all.

A useful product to help if your lipstick tends to bleed around your wrinkles. It is an expensive product for my liking. However, it went on easy and I was able to blend using the rubber thingy at the end. I liked the results.

Does go on very smoothly and the little spatula type thingy on the end of the pencil helps you smooth it into the contours of your lips. Very nice product. Does make for a smoother lip.
